The gentleman takes the curved dagger and slides it into his belt. He still looks a little bit unsure of himself, but he moves to a position where he should be able to attract the attention of the cultist. He waits there for some kind of signal that you're ready.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Delvindra fidgets with the Ring of Mind Shielding, twisting in nervously as she watches the others get into position. Her tail has a stranglehold on her leg and she looks as though she may lose her nerve at any moment...
Esterwll gives a worried look to the robbed noble: "If you prefer, I'll attract the attention of the cultists, Charlie... you don't have to prove anything to anyone... especially since I've run out of healing powers, for today; so, if you fear that you might be caught up and attacked... I wouldn't want us to save your items to lose you! Do you prefer me to do it in your place? Or do you feel like it and I can focus on welcoming the enemies as soon as they chase you?" and she draws her Preceptor-like wand, a kind gift from the temple of Ilmater...
(OOC: After that, Duwamilly is ready in any case: if Charlie fears being reached and injured and 'gives up' his place, she attracts attention; if not, she is ready to unleash the power of the wand on the Cultist as soon as enemies move away from the objects to be preserved)
"Are you sure, Esterwll?" he asks. "I owe all of you my life, and I'll do my best to aid you in any way I can, whether by acting as bait or by helping to bring her down once you get her where you want her."
Meanwhile, Yasmina disappears into the shadows, completely unnoticed by the band of ne'er-do-wells.

"Delvindra, honey," Duwamilly sighs "didn't you just discover first-hand where hurry brings you?"
"Yes, I'm sure Charlie..." Estetwll winks "You owe me a fox-hunt-ride! Plus, jokes apart, you did not sign up for this kind of troubles... you are an innocent victim... and there would be very less fun in the world, with an innocent victim injured. I'll do it!"
So the ex-Preceptor goes, seeks her god's Guidance, allows herself to be seen, ready to unleash the wands' power on the Cultist as soon as shebis far from the object and yells: "Hey, folks! Come here! Slim and the others need you now! Hurry!"(OOC: She remembers that one of the deceased bandits had name Slim - the diffident one it was)
Hidden in her tree, the red-haired half-elf groans as the love birds below argue over who should take the relative small risk of luring the cultist away from the table. The noble had already agreed to do it and yet the infatuated gnome insisted on continuing flirting with him instead of simply doing what was planned. Why not decide this from the start instead of changing a perfectly sound plan, making some small use at least of the noble whose magic items they really had no reason to recover for him. Unbelievable. And why would this noble who lived of the poor would be innocent in any way, weren't they just as innocent, more even, and in what way had they signed up for this? That haunted island seemed like a relief right now compared to witnessing the budding romance below.
When Duwamilly calls out, Delvindra removes the Ring of Mind Shielding with a shaking hand. The voices whisper dark thoughts and urge her to darker impulses, promising rewards beyond her desires...
She closes her eyes, centers herself, takes a deep cleansing breath. It's harder now, having been rid of them. They were easier to ignore when they were a constant companion...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The red-haired half-elf snarls with disappointment, swiftly placing her Hex on the fleeing cultist before unleashing a blue beam of thunderous eldritch crackling force from her sapphire ring efter her.
Bonus action: Place Hex on cultist (wis) Eldritch Blast: 20 Force: 6 Thunder: 2 Necrotic: 3
Delvindra's face instantly hardens into something cold and sinister and she utters a curse in Infernal that sounds gutteral and threatening to those who don't understand it.
She focuses her hatred not on the cultist, but midway between the two bandits (why take one life when you can take two) and releases a ball of hellfire...
(Fireball: 32 damage, Dex save 16 to take half damage, rolled in game log)
(Darn, I miscounted. I may have only caught one of the bandits in that blast or, if the DM is feeling really unforgiving, I may have just barely missed both of them.)
(Darn, I miscounted. I may have only caught one of the bandits in that blast or, if the DM is feeling really unforgiving, I may have just barely missed both of them.)
(Miscounted what? You have plenty of range on that spell to catch both of them!)
It doesn't really matter much whether the two bandits pass or fail their saves... either way, the fireball does enough damage to reduce both of them to piles of charred bone... Duwamilly is up!
"A bright streak flashes from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw."
Duwamilly is sorry that this time the criminals didn't let themselves be duped, but she shrugs her slender shoulders and smiles: you can't always have luck - or it wouldn't be called luck, but boring regularity.
"Stop where you are!" she orders the Cultist, pointing her Preceptor-like wand "Surrender now, or I will do worse than this friendly warning!" and she unleashes the power of the Wand of Wonder on the unfortunate woman...
(OOC: Target is the Cultist, of course)

Delvindra grits her teeth.
"Should I just go ahead and cause a distraction while I wait for the two of you to decide," she asks as the tip of her tail flicks furiously.
"Delvindra, honey," Duwamilly sighs "didn't you just discover first-hand where hurry brings you?"

The cultist turns to look at the intruder for a brief moment... and she immediately realizes something's wrong!
"Protect me!" she exclaims to the two bandits as she quickly scoops the pile of items into a sack and prepares to make a run for it!
Initiative (I think I'll go ahead and roll initiative from now on just to keep things flowing if that's okay with everyone):
Yasmina
Delvindra
---
Bandit 1
Bandit 2
---
Duwamilly
---
Death Cultist

Sir Charles

(I need to check, is it 20' radius or diameter? Because I count 25' from 1 bandit space to the other)
(Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to take the ruling in our favor!)
