Urgad was happy that he was able to put a notch in the drider mummy, and he lets out a triumphant shout when the little kobold's magic burns it to a crisp. Unfortunately, as he looks past the drider mummy's smoldering body to his next foes, he looks right into the dreadful, hollow eye sockets of...is it a mummified orc?! The thought of becoming an undead thrall, bound forever to the Spider Queen's service make his blood run cold. His feet feel rooted to the spot, and he cannot move into the chamber.
Thankfully, he avoids the worst shame because the other mummy rushes forward to attack him, giving him a target within easy reach! He is unable to dodge, but the mummy flails uselessly against his armored chest. With arms that feel oddly shaky, he swings the magical greataxe at the mummy who attacked him.
Movement: None. He cannot move forward because that would bring him closer to mummy1 Action: Multiattack against the Drider Mummy with Berserker Greataxe. Attack #1: 15, Damage: 15 (magical slashing) Attack #2: 8, Damage: 12 (magical slashing)
(OOC: FYI - advantage on Hewelathan's attack from Pack Tactics since it seems like Korba or the orc brute would be adjacent to it. Disadvantage on Urgad's attacks because the source of his fear is within sight.)
(OOC: Also, for Nickeline, Urgad failed to move into the room, and I think that Hewelathan-wolf and Korba are both in the chamber on opposite sides of the doorway. We were trying to create a V-shape with our allies along the walls and the mummies in the middle, but then the chaos of battle happened. I'm no longer sure where the orc brutes are and whether Nickeline could reasonably hit multiple mummies with Burning Hands without the fire leading to friendly fire.)
Even with the unnatural fear gripping his heart, Urgad remains a formidable Orc warrior. His first swing with the cursed axe is a solid hit, though unfortunately the second swing goes wide as the Orog's strong hands tremble.
Nickeline is up!

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
In the chaos around her, Nickeline sees an opening. She casts Burning Hands at the mummies.
Nickeline doesn't want to die for an orc, but the orc brutes in front of her fell to the drider mummy because of her plan. She can't stand back and let mummies take out their organs one by one (or whatever it is mummies do), so Nickeline marches forward five feet, shield in hand, until she is in line with the orc brutes.
OOC:
Action: Cast Burning Hands on as many mummies as possible while avoiding all allies --> 8 fire damage, DC 13 Dex save to take half Movement: Step forward next to the fallen orc brute 2
Ruby Round 2:
Ruby sees Urgad struggling with Mummy 1, so she tries to blast it with magical energy.
OOC:
Action: Multiattack (Arcane Burst 2x on Mummy 1, made w/ advantage because it seems Urgad and Korba are next to it) Burst 1: 10 to hit for 5 force damage Burst 2: 19 to hit for 3 force damage
All three of the mummies in the cone take the full 16 damage! The confused drow mummy is obliterated in Nickeline's holy flames, and the other two are badly scorched. Meanwhile, one of Ruby's beams of force strikes mummy 1, but unfortunately doesn't do much damage.
Hildegard charges on Perdita towards the other drow mummy... this time her sword lands, and a burst of white-hot light sears forth from it, engulfing the mummy in flames. Then Perdita disengages and they are away again.
To hit (with advantage): 22 Bonus action: Searing Smite Damage: 5 (slashing) + 6 (fire).
Hildegarde's burning sword cuts into the mummy, scorching it as the creature's bandages ignite in flame! It takes a total of 14 damage (Hildegarde's sword is non-magical, so the mummy has resistance to the slashing damage. But the fire damage more than makes up for this shortcoming as mummies are vulnerable to fire)
Top of Round 3! Korba, Temphalic, and Jodie are up!
Korba is glad that the Nightmare is under Hildegard's control: the dark, flaming horse looks formidable as it canters up to the mummy. He inclines his head in admiration for Hildegard's searing smite, and he swings his Moonblade in both hands, trying to finish off this troublesome mummy.
Movement: If he kills the drow mummy, then he moves to engage Mummy 1. Action: Attack drow mummy 2, Moonblade: 28, Damage: 28 (magical slashing)
Jodie is mindful to keep the abjuration intact and not engage in melee unless necessary. She nocks and lets loose a regular arrow at the drow mummy and it just nicks a wrapping, leaving it undamaged. (Attack 10)
"Just a matter of time now. They're nearly done for!"
The orc brute Jodie healed swings recklessly once more. Atk 20, Damage 9
Tamphalic throws a firebolt at the last mummy, but misses him completely with all the others in front of him causing him to aim wide.
To hit: 7(Nat 1) for 2 dmg
Orc Brute save: 7

Korba: Round 3 Results
Maybe Hildegard's searing smite weakened the mummy because Korba's sword easily slices it in half. The force of his attack leaves Korba a little out-of-position, and as one of the other mummy's swings at his head, he's neither able to dodge or raise his sword in defense quickly enough. The mummy hits Korba with the strength of undeath, and the half-elf's head whips back, and he falls to the floor unconscious.
(OOC: Trading critical hits here! Despite the potion of resistance, Korba takes 22 = 16 + 13/2 damage, bringing him to exactly 0.)
"Shambles" is right! Despite the size of Hewelathan's dire wolf shape, he is still quite nimble and easily dodges the mummy's attack. He crouches low, growling, and then with a vicious snarl, he lunges forward at the mummy, trying to bite it with his massive jaws.
Action: Bite Mummy 2: 22 Damage: 17 piercing The mummy must succeed on a DC 13 STR saving throw or be knocked prone. Movement: None. Hewelathan remains engaged in melee with mummy 2.
Action: Bite Mummy 2: 22 Damage: 17 piercing The mummy must succeed on a DC 13 STR saving throw or be knocked prone. Movement: None. Hewelathan remains engaged in melee with mummy 2.

I'll assume the latter and just roll an extra attack for Hewelathan to check for critical hits: 19.)
As the fear wears off, Urgad feels strength return to his limbs. The mummy in front of him leaves off pounding on his breastplate and takes a clumsy swipe at the big wolf. Urgad uses this opportunity to attack.

The orc brute's reckless attack strikes mummy 1, though it doesn't do a huge amount of damage.
