Bothered by being called "Halfling", Ospos replies, "Name is Ospos. Ospos Tallfellow. If you don't like my given name, then call me Mr. Tallfellow. As for my lights, I'm keeping them ahead to avoid them illuminating us. I want to see what is ahead, I don't want what's ahead seeing us."
Ospos: As you push forward past the noxious fumes, you scan the tunnel ahead. Ospos, your eyes still sting, and it's difficult to make out many details of the surrounding passage.
Dril: You aren't quite as affected by the gas, yet you don't notice any signs of more traps. As you make it to the sharp turn ahead, a faint glow similar to that of the fungus in the workshop tells you that the next room must be right around this corner.
"Well, I'm usually hired for my skills as a sneak and locksmith, but my luck hasn't been going great for me today. Does anyone else have some skill at skulking? Anyone else want to give it a try?"
Frank looks around at everyone else.
"I mean, if no one else really has that experience, I can give it a go, but, well, I don't know how it will turn out."
Frank looks down with a frown, at the pouch where his good luck charm resides.
Nean, who was about to do the same thing, passes on the message to the others. Along with the message, he hands over his torch, before he quietly summons his psychic blades and readies himself to aid the scouts at a moments notice.
Dril silently taps his foot. If anyone were to pay close enough attention, they'd see a bits of dust swirling, erratic wind, faint light flickering around the gnome. His magic is strong yet erratic and lacking focus, causing a hodgepodge of magical energy.
Frank and Liafial: Stalking down the tunnel as best you can, you both peek your heads around the corner. The room ahead is dimly lit by the glowing fungus, and from what you can make out it seems to be living quarters. There are cubby like openings carved around the walls, with scavenged bedding sticking out of them. There is also a stone platform, rising naturally out of the cave floor. Upon this, a kobold dressed in bright red robes, holding a crystalline staff, addresses a group of six other kobolds, arranged around the platform. To the right of the room, there is a large opening that has been completely blocked by large pieces of scavenged wood, carts, and boulders. At the foot of this barrier, a large form lies still. You can make out folded wings resting on its back, and a long tail curled around it, light glinting off its scales.
Perception check against y'alls combined stealth: 14
As you take in the surroundings, Liafial, you inch forward just a bit to get a better look, and your hand knocks loose a small stone that clinks agains the ground. The kobolds immediately stop talking as their heads snap towards your direction. Frank with lightning quickness yanks both of you back around the corner. You hear what you can assume to be the leader bark out an order, and the sound of armor shifting and footsteps getting closer suggests that one or more of the kobolds is coming to investigate the noise.

Frank mouths a silent curse, eye's wide in shock.
Frank grabs Liafial, pulling him back down the tunnel a little, to get him moving, before letting go and moving as fast as he can, while trying to remain unheard/unseen, back to the rest of the group.
Shocked, Ospos plans, "What!? Fighters in the front, everyone else behind, we withdraw together. Take a step backwards on each of my drum beats. Form up form up form up!"
Ospos has hand poised over his drum, waiting for everyone to be prepared to make an orderly withdrawal.

Nodrus carefully backed up back to the main group, "Are ya sure we can all handle this?" He asks the group quietly, trying not to awaken the dragon. Nodrus readied his greataxe just in-case, despite being unsure about fighting with such a large creature nearby.

Clermar moves to the front, just behind Nodrus as he sneaks forward. He looks back in speaks in a somewhat stern hushed voice, "What's the plan then? We aren't leaving here without that mirror." He draws his greatsword from his back.
"Are you sure?" The group starts running and Nean follows them soon after. "We cannot really be that unlucky. Well since were fleeing already, lets head back to the main cave with the locked door. We can think about tactics once we settle down a little."
While running, he looks back a few times to see if anyone is chasing them. Perception: 15

Frank: Backpedaling towards the group proves difficult, in your rush you trip over a small rock and tumble to the floor. You manage to scramble up quickly, but not before a heavily armored kobold rounds the corner, and with a growl it lobs a spear at you.
Ranged Spear attack (disadvantage for distance/prone target): 5 Damage: 7
Nean: You see this happen, and notice that the kobold retreats back into the other room as opposed to pursuing. Over the chaos of your group scrambling to retreat, you can hear it barking back to its companions.
Nodrus: The blade of your axe is just a little too close to the cave wall, and creates a screeching clamor as you pull out the weapon.

Clermar taps his chain mail a bit. "I'm afraid I'm no good. Got faith in you Frank."
Frank sighs heavily,
"Ok, here hold my torch."
Frank pulls out his crystal and gives it a kiss,
"Please, just a little more luck."
Frank slowly, carefully, sneaks down the tunnel, keeping his eyes open for traps and enemies.
