Number 1 (Archer) using the house as cover begins to run down the street dashing away (60 feet) and doesn't look back or seem interested in hunting anymore. Fear rushing through its body
OOC Doc's turn but as he's prone his movement is halved ^^
OOC Oh damn only standing up cost half movement you're right. Going prone cost nothing... That makes so little sense but that's 5E for ya nevermind you're good lol
OOC As written in the owlbear it's an additional 60 feet outside the scope of the map. So Axel is currently 110 feet away. It's turn it can dash 60 (170 feet) he can move 30 and get 140 (Longbow reach)
But than it'd get 200.
I could run the variant chase rules instead of doing an initiative based chase up to you guys ^^
(Not sure if you guys have ever run the chase rules or not. My groups prefer chases in initiative but to each their own of course)
Khab will move forward 30' and cast Chill Touch at #2 again.

Traditional chase than ^^
I put some important notes regarding future sessions in the group chat.
Though the session is technically over I will try to finish this combat as it doesn't take more than 2 sessions lol
And Avery will move forward 30'
D&D since 1984
Axel will move forward 30' and fire at number 2
to hit: 20 damage: 8
The creatures try to angle to fire at Doc but he is behind the house for cover. Moving up they begin to fire at Baldri instead!

But Doc's turn and Ayst reaction happens first so if they kill the creature this won't happen so don't reduce the HP yet ^^
If there are any targets left within 120' Doc stands and throws an eldritch bolt of fire at the most wounded one, then drops prone behind cover again.

OOC
Doc is behind cover.
He has enough movement to move 15 feet upward. But as he was already prone and had to move 15 to get a clear shot.
He won't be able to end his turn prone again (Only problem with going prone with so much cover around eats that movement up super fast)
The good news is...
His firebolt kills the creature just in time so Axel doesn't have to take that hit!
They can TRy and chase the last archer but it is... Very far and may be easier to let it go.
OOC
I thought dropping prone was 0 move cost, apologies
Edit: based on brief research RAW dropping prone has no movement cost. Can I get a clarification for how it works at this table?

So do you guys not chase that last one than?
“We shouldn’t let that one get away in case it goes for help and brings back more.” Axel says before dashing 60’ to get a clear shot with his bow.
OOC

OOC: I haven't caught up on on today's session but seeing the last post, Khabibulin has a 120' range Chill Touch he could use.
(no I have never used those rules. I could take a shot at disadvantage if I have to ...don't wanna drag out the chase myself)
OOC
Khab's even farther than Axel.
Axel could take a shot than a disadvantaged shot for sure.
Khab is 170 feet away.
I could wait on everyone's turns as it chases it.
But on it's turn it's going to try to hide in the city streets.
However since Axel is close enough to give a meaningful chase.
If you'd be willing cause on it's turn it's gonna move and try to hide.
He can make a perception check against it's stealth.
If he fails it slinks to the shadows.
If he passes I'll simply say they find and hunt the thing down. Just to save us some time ^^
I'd probably do it different IRL but in PbP that can take.. A long time lol
