The bolt flies wide. A pity too. The giant warrior seems to be feeling the effects of Quartz's own acidic streak.
He's clearly faltered, but not quite done. Hearing Korbiña's taunts, however, have turned Him back to His first target, a daunting issue if His first strike wasn't enough of an indication.
Wiah8ng to capitalize on the momentum of his previous attack, the srill invisible Quartz moves in, feeling Primal rage coarse through his veins, distorting his body into a more beastial aspect.
Lelantus swiftly climbs the giant warrior from behind. His body reeks of burnt grass, mold and scorched mud. Lelantus didn't even know mud could scorch. The armor, upon closer inspection, is a lot flimsier than it previously seemed. And His scales look weird up close, too. Are those... what are they? As he's making his way up the monster's back, Quartz strikes with the fury of nature, a blur of claws and mass. Though it doesn't do much, it's enough to distract Apfelßodt from the halfling's tentative climb [which now gives him advantage on his damage roll next turn].
Thaux, rushes forward gripping his dagger in his hand and strikes the brute. 24 to hit and 5 for damage
The Dragonborn howls in more fury than pain as the dagger sinks into His... that's not flesh. What in the hells...?
By now, several in the party have begun to notice something strange about their opponent, that He may not be as He first appeared. The others also clue in on this as they notice the creature's reaction to being attacked.
[Damn... everyone's blind as a bat. And I didn't even give anyone disadvantage on the lighting. What sins have you all committed to piss off the dice gods so severely?]
[...oh, except Wile_E. He gets a star sticker and a pat on the head. Dice gets another couple hours; Japan must be nice.]
Slices and dices, and lightning, and acid, and so many other little hits have made their mark. The others may not see it yet, but both the druid and the ranger realize it simultaneously. This is not a creature of flesh and blood; it's a plant.
...Well, no 'plant' isn't the right word. Even as the two watch, sloughs of vines and mud peel away from its face, further distorting what first looked reptilian. Now, scorched and melted, it's harder still to tell. Perhaps that's why the others haven't seen it yet -- or perhaps they're too angry or disturbed to care enough to look. Whatever the case, the monster needs to die.
As if on cue, the creature rears forth again, headed for Korbiña with an unnatural lurch. It wraps its wet cold claws around her midsection, a wayward vine grabbing her arm as well.
[First attack to grapple: 17, Korbiña roll a Strength or Dex save, whatever's higher, to match or exceed 17]

Lelantus will try to climb the beast without it noticing.
[Stealth, then Athletics. Just keep in mind the risks. Fail one and you fall.]

I worship loki so this is pretty on brand
[Probably, if it were actually dim light, Korbiña would see better ðŸ¤]
[ Ok perception is a 12.]
