Jaya takes up guard near the door, watching the others interact with the puppet and collect materials. Besides some skills with jewelry, Jaya leaves the tinkering and building to others.
When the others are done, he will follow, last out of the room back to the well room.
While waiting, he will ask Halleth random questions, such as “How deep did your group explore before they turned on you? Did you interact with the Goblins in the market?” to help pass the time.
Halleth, looking sickly as ever, but moving without issue, responds to Jaya: "We intended on getting as much loot as possible. Kelin lost his nerve and slunk away. The rest, after knocking me out, continued down. I feel the presence of all three on this level. Midna is to the east, Rex is to the south, Copper's with the goblins. I've never been on this floor before myself, so that's the most I can tell you."
"Halleth, do you know how it is that you can 'feel' the presence of your former compatriots?"
Does Pisgah believe the answer he gives? Insight roll of 3 on a Nat 1....
Pisgah believes anything he says......
[OoC: what's your passive insight? Couldn't you use that?]
OOC: I don't think so. Passive Insight/Wisdom comes into play when you are not actively focusing on it. Since I asked the question it would call for an insight check IMO.

DM: Pretty much. I'm more lax on the use of passives, but on the other hand I also don't consider them a skill 'floor'. Rolling instead of taking the passive has the potential for a higher high and also a lower low. In order to 'actively' take passives, I'm usually assuming a time cost of around 5-10 minutes. It's not something for combat or other time critical scenes.
Halleth turns to Pisgah, one hand lifted to the symbol on his tabard. "It is a gift by Waukeen. She wishes to see these evildoers punished, so she lends me her strength, as she has lent me her spells in the past."
Waukeen is pretty well known as the goddess of merchants and wealth. Pisgah would have seen the icon of Waukeen (a golden coin with the goddesses face in profile) on stores and merchant caravans in his travels. Waterdeep, being a cosmopolitan city with a lot of trade, is a well known gathering hub for this church.
While busy collecting all the salvageable parts, Rico asks, "Are we going to check the barricaded door to the north before heading south?"
OOC: Also, back when she got the hide scraps, there wasn't a weight for those. And I can't enter the .5 lb of the wood scraps (DNDBeyond wont' accept anything other than whole pounds), so I entered that as a note.
Rico finishes loading her sack with salvageable parts and scraps. Except for the Alchemist's Fire, that goes into her belt pouch (unless someone wants it). It's not that she's claiming it, it's just that she needs to drop the sack whenever they get into a fight, and she didn't want to put something so fragile and dangerous into a sack she drops frequently.
OOC: I'm assuming Pisgah has the 4 flasks, I didn't record them as carried by Rico.
"I am ready to proceed. I have packed everything that might be useful."
OOC2: How much do hide scraps weigh? I wasn't able to find weights in the book you linked.
DM: Oh, apparently not being able to enter decimals as weight is a DDB limitation. Weird, as there are PHB items that also are a fraction of a pound. Welp. I guess a note makes most sense. You could also combine multiple scraps into one pile so at least even numbers of items get their weight applied correctly. Hide scraps are also 0.5 lbs.
Pisgah first thinks that he doesn't hear anything. But then, very faintly, the haunting sound of a harpsichord playing comes to his hears. It seems far off, as if coming from down a long hallway.
The door opens into a corridor that first leads east, then north. On the way there, you see a door in the northern wall. With the broken furniture out of the way and the door open, everyone can hear the harpsichord music now: it echoes down out of the darkness of the corridor leading north.

Everyone also gets 250 XP for dealing with the puppet without it self-destructing.

"Ah, Waukeen, yes."
Religion roll of 9
Does a religion check of 9 get any information?

"Wait, what? There was another door in that room? Maybe that puppet hit me harder than I thought! Yeah, sure, let me take a listen at that door too."
Perception check with the horn on a roll of 20.

" Hey, there is something on the other side of the door. Some haunting sounding music. Any guesses what it might be from the pictures on the map?"
I move the debris aside and open the door.

Pisgah will slip ahead to the door leading north and take a listen. With the horn of course.
Perception roll of 24
Not a sound to be heard behind this door.
The kenku checks for traps as Pisgah listens...
[Damn. Nat 1+4 on Perception]
"Thanks for checking Nikk." I push open the door.
