I had thought so at first, but the last time I read it it seemed like it maybe it was recharged on a long rest.
Whenever you finish a long rest, you can touch up to 2 nonmagical objects, imbuing each of them with one of your artificer infusions, turning it into a magic item. You can attune yourself to the item the instant you infuse it, or you can forgo attunement so that someone else can attune to the item.
Your infusion remains in an item indefinitely, but when you die, the infusion vanishes after 5 days. The infusion also vanishes if you give up your knowledge of the infusion or you exceed your maximum number of infusions.
If it can only be activated right after a long rest, I'll edit that post.
I see how that could be confusing on a first glance, but it's worded basically the same way as classes that prepare their spells. "Finishing a long rest" is the trigger to instantly assign infusions.
Since you weren't sure, I'd be fine with if you reassign once this time.
Pisgah opens the door, carefully, and therefore is not surprised when a group of undead monsters lurch at him! These horrid monstrosities are humanoid in figure, but bulkier than the barrel ghouls, sporting sinuous musculature. Their decaying flesh emits a horrible stench. It seems they all waited for the door to open.
Since Pisgah had previously called out his actions to the party, they are fairly quick to react as well.
Initiative: 1. Pisgah and Rico + Steel < YOUR TURN 2. Undead monstrosities G1-G4 3. Jaya, Nikkitch, Canti and Halleth
Pisgah: Because of the horrible stench in such close proximity with the monsters, at the start of his turn Pisgah must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of his next turn. On a successful saving throw, he is then immune to the horrible stench for 24 hours.
As a bonus action I will rage! As I rage an elongated snout, similar to the snout of a dire wolf (matching the dire wolf cloak I wear as a hunting trophy) emerges. I will make two longsword attacks against G1.
Rico sends Steel ahead of her as they both head down the corridor, staying to the right (north) side so that others can easily pass her. She can get in sight of the ghouls say, she will shoot at that goal twice.
OOC: It looks to me like she will have a clear shot at G1 while G2 might have cover
[From where Rico is, both of them have cover, although G1 only has half cover (+2 AC)]
Pisgah lays into the undead, slicing deep cuts, but it manages to keep standing after this onslaught. From down the hallway, Ricos bullet thuds into the creature. It remains standing, but the fluids leaking out of it speak of irreversible internal damage.
The monsters move up, spill out into the hallway, surrounding and raking at Pisgah from all sides (G2 and G4 benefit from flanking): Attack (with adv.): 18 , damage: 14 Attack (with adv.): 11, damage: 13 Attack: 18, damage: 12 Attack: 7, damage: 12
For every attack that hits, Pisgah must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. Pisgah can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of his turns, ending the effect on himself on a success.
Initiative: 1. Pisgah and Rico + Steel < YOUR TURN 2. Undead monstrosities G1 (heavily damaged) + G2-G4 3. Jaya, Nikkitch, Canti and Halleth < YOUR TURN
Since Rico and Pisgah are first next round, you can go again.
Nikk aims for the undead with the highest health. Giving a quick shout in Pisgah's voice, four magical projectiles fly from his talons, striking for a total of 12 damage [4 of which is force dmg].
Pisgah mauls the undead monstrosity (G1) and causes it to collapse to the stone floor.
The rest of the group comes running, slinging spells and letting missiles fly. Rico and Canti focus on G2, making its body twitching back and forth from the impacts, yet it keeps standing, looking very damaged.
Steel and Jaya move up to Pisgah. Steel tries to hit G4 around the corner, but the cramped space makes aiming difficult, the fist cracking against the doorframe.
Nikkitch sends magical missiles into G3, the spell buzzing past Pisgah and Jaya around the corner unerringly.
G3 and G4 continue to slash at Pisgah. G4 almost gets a hit in, but Steel interjects, using its bulk to deflect the incoming attack: Attack: 7, damage: 12 slashing Attack: 12, damage: 9 slashing
G2, looking very ragged, turns around and attacks the approaching Jaya: Attack: 12, damage: 11 slashing
Jaya skillfully ripostes, impaling the monster and sending it to the floor, dead.
Initiative: 1. Pisgah and Rico + Steel < YOUR TURN 2. Undead monstrosities G3 + G4 3. Jaya, Nikkitch, Canti and Halleth < YOUR TURN
Since Rico and Pisgah are first next round, you can go again.
Rico will continue to advance while shooting at G3. If it goes down in the first shot, she'll send the second shot into G4 once she has a good angle on it.
Attack 26 damage 8
Attack 19 damage 15
Steel will attack G4 (who has cover) again, then use Deflect Attack toe10mapple.
Nikk points to G4, dolorous bells ringing faintly. He's sure it won't do much, but with so many friendlies before him, in such a narrow hall, Toll the Dead is the only cantrip in his arsenal that won't risk hitting the others. He might not need it, anyway.
The ghast (G4) falls after both Pisgah and Jaya rake, slash and bite into it. The flesh tastes foul in Pisgahs mouth.
Nikkitch, Rico, Steel and Canti (since G4 is down) can direct their attacks onto G3. The bullets, arrows and the faint sound of a bell are inflicted upon the monster. It gurgles, struggling weakly to reach for one last target, but it collapses at last.
We're out of combat. Everyone gets 360 XP for defeating the ghasts.
The room where the monsters came out of smells terrible, but doesn't seem to be a haven for more of their kind. This room contains the remains of a mining operation. Pickaxes (7) and hammers (6) litter the floor, as do the gnawed bones, torn black robes, and rubber boots of a skeleton, clad in wizard robes. Notably absent is the skeletons skull.
A corridor goes away from the room around a bend. An exposed bit of stonework has a thick vein of copper ore running through it. A scrap of paper lies on the floor. On the piece of paper, you can read:
“Day 10. With lightning and copper wires, I created a pack of ghouls. Hal was not impressed. He says I’m not ready for Dweomercore and its arcane secrets. I’ll show him. His flesh golem has given me an idea for a trap more devious than any Hal could devise. Lightning — is there anything it can’t do?”

Jaya will share with Nikk that when he first looked at the skull, he noticed a reoccurring spark in one of the eye sockets.
I see how that could be confusing on a first glance, but it's worded basically the same way as classes that prepare their spells. "Finishing a long rest" is the trigger to instantly assign infusions.
Since you weren't sure, I'd be fine with if you reassign once this time.
Thanks, I've thinking she'd need to make that change soon, mostly just didn't think of it during the rest.

CON save of 17 (adv from necklace of adaptation)
As a bonus action I will rage! As I rage an elongated snout, similar to the snout of a dire wolf (matching the dire wolf cloak I wear as a hunting trophy) emerges. I will make two longsword attacks against G1.
Attack 1: to hit 18 dmg 10
Accidentally hit javelin (stupid phone)
Attack 2: to hit 26 (nat 20) dmg 14
If G1 goes down, I will take 1 step to east.
Pisgah yells to the party about the nasty smelling ghouls. "Hold your breath, these things reek!"
Rico sends Steel ahead of her as they both head down the corridor, staying to the right (north) side so that others can easily pass her. She can get in sight of the ghouls say, she will shoot at that goal twice.

I think I can get here by dashing, depending on the math, definately if G2 falls before I get there, etc.
Since he dashed, he can’t attack, but if any of the undead attack Jaya and miss, he will riposte the first one that does.
Longsword riposte: 15 dmg: 13
Pisgah succeeds on both CON saves with a 13 and 14.
Pisgah will attack G1 with a longsword, to hit 16 for 7 dmg
If G1 is still up then Pisgah will attack it with a bite attack otherwise he will attack G2.
Bite attack: to hit 13; if the bite succeeds it will do 7 points of damage and Pisgah will recover 3hp.
Rico sends Steel to support Pisgah, sending him up to where he can attack G4 around the corner (I'm assuming that's possible but with cover).
Steel moves up and tries to attack with his Force Empowered Rend. Steel also prepares to use Deflect Attack to protect Pisgah from G4 or G2.
Attack 10 damage 6
Meanwhile Rico continues to advance down the corridor while shooting at the undead. Priority of targets is G2, G1, G3
Attack 24 damage 12
Attack 10 (nat 1 = miss)
Canti moves to where she can see G2 clearly and fires two arrows at it.
Attack: 12 Damage: 5
Attack: 26 Damage: 11
If G2 happens to go down before or during her attack, she'll aim at the next visit target.
[In a hurry. Only have second]

Pisgah focuses his rage on G4 and unleashes a longsword and bite attack combo.
Longsword attack: 24 to hit, 11 dmg
Bite attack: 16 to hit, 11 dmg; if the bite lands I regain 3hp
Jaya moves next to the Undead monstrosity named G4 and attacks!
Longsword attack 1: 16 dmg: 11
Longsword attack 2: 24 dmg: 10
Canti moves south against the other wall and aims between her party members at G1, firing two more arrows.
Attack: 17 Damage: 12
Attack: 16 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Rico will continue to advance while shooting at G3. If it goes down in the first shot, she'll send the second shot into G4 once she has a good angle on it.
