After seeing the headless skeleton and the slip of paper,Rico comments, "I think we found the rest of the lightning skulls skeleton."
Then starts cleaning and storing the pickaxes and hammers. The pickaxe handles look at long enough to make arrows out of, while one axe head would be enough to arrow heads and fletching.
OOC: At this rate it won't take long before even her bag of holding is full...
Pisgah walks over to look at the skeleton lying on the floor looking for any disintegrating clothing, bags, or pouches to see if the body was carrying anything worth picking up.
OOC: One less hammer in Rico's bag of holding. To be clear, she's not putting any sort of claim on the things she picks up, she's just not leaving anything possibly useful behind. Especially spare parts to make anything the party needs...
Indeed, for it's been picked clean, probably by the undead things you just encountered. Even the clothing and equipment are torn apart beyond recognition.
Halleth replies to Pisgah: "Yes, I still sense them. Copper hasn't moved, he's still with the goblins. Rex is to the southeast, probably down that hole back where we fought the skull. Midna is northeast. I'm not sure how to get there though. Perhaps past the goblins or down the hole, either way is bound to lead us closer to the first two."
'Once we're stronger and can decimate them quickly,' he thinks.
As the group is, they're having issues with simpler creatures. A hoard of goblins surrounded by cover on their home turf would be trouble, if things were to go wrong.
"The only areas we know of or have found but not explored are all on the other side of the goblin market. That map we found on the first floor, the one that showed the different dungeon levels, it had centipedes, spiders, and manticores on the first floor along with a skull on the second floor. I am not sure what the other symbols are supposed to be. The third level showed what may be a city of some sort and there was a flaming skull shown next to the map.
Halleth, did you and the Fine Fellows figure out what the map represented for the different levels? "
Halleths glassy eyes move around, as if trying to sense something else than his erstwhile companions. "We suspected that the image showed parts of Skullport. I was never there myself, but I know that it's supposed to be under Waterdeep somewhere. It could be that it's on the same elevation as the third level."
"Halaster was crazy, so we didn't try to read too much into the map."
" So far it looks like the map is representing the creatures down here. I guess we could make our way down the chute to the third floor. If we need to retreat we can come back to the goblin market. "
Rico sees that the vein here runs quite deep, is quite pure and surely will yield more copper with some work. The mining equipment lying around suggests that the same vein has been mined for quite a long time, the tunnel expanding to follow it. You could probably spend weeks here and not make a dent in the resource supply.
[For crafting purposes, we can treat any copper mined here as iron]
"Perhaps we come back here when we would like a short rest, and do some light mining? Though I don't mind waiting a bit now if anyone needs some copper" Jaya says. "If not, how about we head back to the chute then, save the goblins for later then."

Canti retrieves two arrows that are still usable.
Rico offers Canti 2 replacement arrows from her supply of spare arrows.

Investigation roll of 7
...it's just a skeleton...
Pisgah picks up one of the hammers and drops it in his backpack.

"Halleth, do you still sense your Fine Fellows to the northeast of us? Past the goblin market perhaps?"
Nikk sees nothing of value here. He's ready to move along, but stays silent.

"Does anyone need to go to the market to resupply or do we want to keep heading down the mining shaft and go north?"
It seems like we will need to go in both directions eventually, either is fine with me.
"Maybe. We. Should. Deal. With. The. Goblins. Later."

Did anyone want to check out the copper vein before we move on?
Rico will take a look at, but she already has a good amount of copper, so she won't try mining it, just evaluating it for future reference.

Rico answers, "I have plenty of copper for now. I just wanted to see if this was a good spot to come back to if I need more. I am ready to move on."
