I don't follow. There are only 2 turns: Monsters / humanoids (approximately). Monster just did it's turn. Did you want it to go again? Or like did you want the npcs to act but don't want to control them?
(Sorry, I'll go, (OOC: There is no reason that a legendary creature should listen or even understand Sparhawk, but it is my hope that with the help of Marduk, it will somehow understand, and find other prey. If it's actually intelligent, being used to all it faces fleeing, perhaps something facing without fear and stinging it divinely will encourage it to leave, or if I'm really lucky, it understands Sparhawk in some way , the enemy of my enemy is my friend logic and leaves. I expect there are very few things that would actually fight this thing)
In a move of pure heroism/ stupidity and faith in his god, Marduk, the stubborn half-orc draws a sword given to him when he was made a knight, his powers restored, the sword he has named, Faithful. He advances on the gargantuan monster. He shouts as he advances, likely accepting the reality of his own death: "Mighty Etali, You have caused harm to this world and now abuse your powers here. These people are not your target, they seek to defeat the undeed, your enemy as well as mine. You force me to be your enemy, although I do not wish to be. Balance must be restored. Although I am not your enemy, I will face you, but I do ask you to leave this place and these people. by Marduk, heart is the agent of justice and my sword the instrument of vengeance."
Vow of Enmity: Advantage on attacks against Etali.
Attack with longsword, target eyes/ face as that's all that is available: 19, and 27 to hit. Damage: 9 first attack, Second hit: Damage: 21+9 radiant divine smite (Menacing attack, Wisdom DC 17 or frightened of Sparhawk)
(OOC: Sorry, everyone running, people dying, this thing way above our pay grade, this is what my guy would do!)
( OOC: Totes understand. For Cha!jil:- If it works Sparhawk gets a check in the insane demigod column. If it doesn't work he stays in the insane foreigner column.)

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
<Hmmm. I'm just going to assume somewhre in their studies, Tess picked up enough Torilian history to know this stuff. Religion and history checks get hard to parse when gods walk around and break stuff regularly.>
The diatant continent of Maztica, long visited by the kingdom.of Amn, briefly opened up to colonizing forces sent from Waterdeep and Lantan (the island nation just northwest of Chult, just beyond the Mistcliff). Helm and his clergy were at tbe forefront of these incursions and treated the native mazticans cruelly, dealing irreparable harm. The Ambian general Cordell even named the city he founded Helmsport after his god.
New cities and towns sprung up within this time - locales such as Qoral, New Waterdeep, Trythosford and Fort Flame. The cruel treatment of the native Mazticans by Helm's clergy and worshipers caused rreparable damage in his faith leading to a decline in the god's power. When the Spellplague came, the Mazticans were caught completely unaware. The skies changed from the azure of Toril to the metallic skies of Abeir. Earthquakes, similar to the ones which occurred during Zaltec and Qotal's battle decades prior, once again tore the land apart. Village elders thought the gods were angry with them and many returned to the old ways of sacrifice. Thousands of foreigners were expelled or offered for sacrifice though sacrifice as a whole never quite returned to pre-Cordell levels outside of Nexal. In Nexal, the jagre Hoxitl still ruled with an iron fist and he sought only to ever please the Bringer of War. New beasts began to appear across Maztica. Great lizards with terrible fangs and claws savaged the humans and halflings of the jungles. Ancient evils, once forgotten, began to appear on the continent. Itzapaplotl, the dreaded Obsidian Butterfl cimated villages and tortured entire populations that had been captured by her dreaded tzitzimitl. She no longer seemed bounded by the rules of the gods that long ago curbed the worst of her depredations. The worst thing of all was that the gods no longer answered the prayers of their faithful. On this new world and under a new sky, the gods no longer existed and the Mazticans despaired. Born of the great god Kukul so many thousands of years prior, however, mankind and the other races of the True World did not give up on survival so easily.
The spellplague saw the Faerûnian colonists expelled or sacrifices. New beasts began to appear across Maztica. Great lizards with terrible fangs and claws savaged the humans and halflings of the jungles. Ancient evils, once forgotten, began to appear on the continent.
The storm that rolled in preparing Etali's arrival came from the Mistcliff.
Tess is up, plus a ton of NPCs. The fort is in chaos as the large lightning lizard lays waste to to the ramparts.
Edit: Kos would know some of this too. Maybe when they're not in the middle if reptile Armageddon they can compare notes and get a more complete picture.
Out of game knowledge about the shared world. Players should know some or all of this because they've ween some of it on the other side
About a hundred years ago Maztica was shunted to Toril's sister-world of Abeir. Within the last decade, Laerakond and Maztica switched back and the long gone gods of Mazrics returned to the continent.
The players in the other game ventured to Abeir and learned that the ancients had co tract with tbe Far Ream, an uncursion of which has manifested, with Tess in particular having experienced an out if body experience there and the whole crew battling a star spawn emissary (or did they?)

Undril Silvertusk rushes to the wall, spotting the lizards immense dorsal sail. She mutters a prayer: 'Torm, pray, guide my hand." she leaps from the ramparts swinging her flail above her head, onto the creature's back and smashes it with her weapon. 23 for 18 radiant damage.
<Sorry, this is dragging. I can feel it. Let's just call the rest of the group of fighters dealing 100hp damage.>
"We're routing the beast, stay on him. The spikes will protect the wall!" Ord Firebeard orders the troops."
Perne counters, "We need the healers safe, keep them in the watchtowers, away from the lightning!
"One of you, revive the commandant. I know you lot can do it. I've seen it done!" Demands Wulf Rygor, completely contradicting Captain Salhana's command.
"From a stab, maybe, or poison. The commandant exploded. I don't think he's coming back from that, short a resurrection," argues an acolyte.
"Nonsense, his body's still warm and nearly whole. Now do your job or someone else will be doing it!" Wulf threatens the acolyte.
"Ans who would that be? We been waitin' six tenda for reinforcements to replace the last, and no sooner does she arrive than she flings herself off the wall at that thing! Lost in the blue mist, that one."
"You will bring back Niles .. your" the half-elf chokes back his sorrow, then continues, "your commanding officer now. That is an order!"
"He don't take orders from the likes of you." Ord Firebear intersects, inserting himself physically between the arguing pair. "The commandant let you lead the locals with Lorsa, but you have no authority over the templars," he scolds Wulf.
"Now, get yourselves to the towers as Captain Salhane ordered you!" Ord commandant the acolytes.
As another snap of lightning ignores the dark sky, the tension breaks and the acolytes make for the southern watchtowers, away from Etali's wrath, they hope.
The jungle Dwarf takes the potion bundles up the gnome and heads jungle-ward.

The lizard either doesn't understand or doesn't care for the remarks made by the paladin. (make a religion check, though)

Foe simplicity, I'm ending all the fear effects on the NPCs.

Sister Cyas' spirit guardians continue to harry the huge reptile as the priest fearlessly follows the huge creature.
She casts guiding bolt for 12 radiant damage as one kf her acolytes casts sanctuary on Sister Cyas.
(Eventually) Etali save vs spirit guardians dc13 (8 radiant, speed still halved): 26
The remaining acolytes cast bless on Lorsa, Wulf, Perne and Ord and another veteran.
