Searching the bodies, you find cell keys. Take a short rest (you could convince me of a long rest), There are only prisoners', traps, and loot to find in the remaining hideout, except your final treasure is being guarded in the final huge cavern. Four jail cells are arrayed along the south wall of this cavern. The first holds a cyclops; the second holds a dead elf; the third holds a bugbear slumped against a bench; and the fourth holds a hunched, gray-skinned figure in robes. A worn chest sits along the room’s northwest wall. Leaning next to it is a giant-size club.

After this chapter ends (if you survive the final combat), you will be given the option to shop for magic items, with the wealth of the three great mages. Milestones for the next chapter sets your levels at 12th and I'm going to say that everyone can purchase a single rare magic item (for free, with the mage's money) and that everyone can have any three uncommon magic items and any five common magic items.
Trystane prepares himself at the entrance point that is closest to the dragon, he is anxious to fight the beast. He is indifferent about the magic items and feels everyone should take their pick if they feel it is useful to them. Also, if the prisoners feel they have a score to settle with the dragon, they are free to join them but he will not persuade anyone to risk their life shortly after being freed.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Talorin looks at the captured prisoners and says a quick prayer for the fallen elf. He walks over to the greatclub and brings it to Gertrude. Speaking in Giant he asks, "Where was Rockanza taken to?" He looks at the prisoners, wondering their physical condition.
OOC: Necyra has no desire for any of the magic weapons. But she has her eyes glued on the Gem of Seeing. Unfortunately, she's already used up all three attunement slots, but I'll have her take it none the less, as she could swap out something for temporary use. She's also a heal-bot, so let one of the front line tanks take those two Potions of Healing (Superior). I'd also suggest a front liner take the Potion of Fire Resistance.
Necyra approached the hunched, gray-skinned figure with a cautious step, her voice soft, "Are you alright? We're here to help. If you're willing, we could use your assistance in a battle against a dangerous creature." She paused, waiting for a response, her eyes fixed on the figure's face. (Persuasion: 12)(and if you'll allow that Persuasion roll @ advantage, since Necyra just let the cyclops out of her jail cell, here's the second roll: 4).
Necyra's eyes narrowed, a flicker of determination crossing her face. "We must enter through the secret door," she declared, her voice firm. "If we use the main gate, the spiderdragon and its jailor will be expecting us. The element of surprise is crucial in this situation." She glanced at Trystane and the others, her gaze seeking their agreement.
Right before the short rest: Bridgette casts death ward on herself for yet another safeguard against dying, then takes her short rest to get back both her pact slots.
At the cells: Bridgette can't help but smile when the cyclops said how much it hated Lolth...
"Well friend, then you're in good company," Bridgette says with a smile. "I don't think any of us are looking for a club, so I'm more than happy to give it back to you."
The dragon room: The half-orc stares at the dragon... and can't help but swallow nervously. She isn't entirely convinced she wants to fight a dragon... oh well, doesn't look like she's getting too much of a choice in the matter.

Unless others have a way to keep them on the floor, I will swap tactics."
Trystane enters the cave to the dragon silently through the entrance that is nearest to the monster. He advances until he is in range for a final pounce. With both claws he slashes across the monster, trying to infuse it with ancient magic that will punish it for striking out at him and his close allies. He then moves sidewards around the monster so that it would need to pivot away from the doors if it wants to face him in an effort to reduce the impact of a potential breadth weapon.

Brand of Castigation
At 6th level, whenever you damage a creature with your Crimson Rite feature, you can choose to sear an arcane brand of hemocraft magic into it (requires no action). You always know the direction to the branded creature, and each time the branded creature deals damage to you or a creature you can see within 5 feet of you, the creature takes psychic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1 damage).
Your brand lasts until you dismiss it, or you apply a brand to another creature. Your brand counts as a spell for the purposes of dispel magic, and the spell level is equal to half of your blood hunter level (maximum of 9th level spell).
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
