He mutters under his breath that he will not loose anyone else this day.
He's only just met these people, and he shouldn't be so attached. But a few years as a solider, and the recent loss of so many lives, especially civilians, so recently, is still raw for him.
He brings his spear and shield before him, closes his eyes, and works only calming his breathes, to get himself focused, and ready.

( no map, but consider the terrain. Lots of trees, though not as dense as elsewhere in the forest. If using the combat tab on the dice roller you onky put in the main dice, if there is extra dmg, submit it as a separate roll on the regular tab.

Later i will work on some simple, reusable battle map so you can get the most out of your build in future engagements. In fact i can play around with the map feature here and maybe that will work)

OOC- No worries. I just wanted to give the possible parameters for DeDe depending on circumstances at DM discretion.
OOC - I use the map in a game I DM and I think the session times out or after a certain amount of time it goes inactive. I put feeback in to allow for a setting to have it stay active. Not sure it will get in though. Sometime its stays up a bit and most of the time it's not up when the PC's are ready to join the session. It currently says the session is not active.
Here is the map and your approximate positions. Use the grid letter and number to say where you move to so i can update your position at the end of each round.

As Dungho Dave dodges the fury of the boar, it sounds a bit like a rockslide and thump from over by the cave you noticed off the trail.
