B'Reh adjusts her shield and glances toward the hill crest, her sharp eyes scanning the landscape. “Should we stick close to the swamp as we search for the other entrance, or would you all consider cresting the hill?” she asks, her voice steady but curious. “I favor the heights,” she adds thoughtfully, “as it gives us a better vantage point and could help us spot dangers—or the other entrance—more easily. But I’m open to your preferences if you think the swamp offers more cover, or you simply don't fancy a bit of climbing.” Her tone remains calm, inviting discussion.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Vira glances from the swamp to the hill thoughtfully as she considers B'Reh's words. "The climb should be no trouble for me and I have some rope we can use...Heh, if I rage I might be able to carry you two up at the same time."She gives a confident grin at Aric and Brynlee, flexing her arms. "We already got a taste of what the swamp holds with those skeletons," she states, rubbing the spot where the one got a surprise attack on her, "I'd rather at least see them coming next time, but I can keep a lookout whatever we decide to do."
[[ Sorry y'all, busy week. For the sake of getting things going again, I will assume we are going with the climbing plan. Went ahead and rolled checks for everyone to streamline things. ]]
After a few minutes of searching, you all find a suitable place to begin climbing the rocky formation that seems to house the caverns, or at least cover the two entrances you know of. Thick vines offer easy handholds, and Vira leads the way, easily gripping the wall with her talons. Aric and Brynlee follow, both having less raw strength than Vira, but easily keeping up with their barbarian guide, and B'Reh brings up the rear, also having the advantage of sharp talons to help in her climbing, and even provides a touch of magical guidance to Brynlee at one point when she begins to fall slightly behind.
With Vira's sense of direction and strong intuition for which holds are stable enough to support your weight, your group quickly scales each sheer face you come to, making short hikes in between, until you eventually reach a ledge just above the northern entrance of the Mokkden Caverns that was marked on the magistrate's map.
B'Reh crouches low on the ledge, her keen eyes scanning the northern entrance for any signs of movement or danger. She takes her time, carefully observing the ground, walls, and shadows for anything unusual or threatening. (Perception: 17, incl. Guidance)
(If nothing immediately seems amiss:) She adjusts her shield and whispers, "No obvious threats, but let’s stay cautious." She steps to the edge of the ledge and leaps gracefully, gliding down to the entrance. Her feet land softly as she begins a closer inspection of the area, searching for footprints, disturbed vegetation, or any other indication that Kenna may have passed this way. Her focus sharpens, determined to find even the smallest clue. (Survival: 15, incl. Guidance)

There don't appear to be any immediate threats as there were at the other entrance with the green acidic slimes, so B'Reh leaps from the ledge, spreading her arms to glide down.
Investigating the area around the entrance, she finds a few shallow birdfolk footprints headed towards the cave, and a single black feather stuck to the ground in a similar blue-purple trail of dried slime just inside the entrance. This tunnel curves a bit more sharply downward than the other, quickly fading into darkness beyond the reaches of her darkvision.
Vira climbs down to the entrance as well, assisting Aric and Brynlee as needed. Once they all reach the ground, she carefully picks up the black feather, her expression growing sharp with resolve.
"She came through here, alright. No time to waste."
B'Reh nods at Vira’s words, her gaze fixed on the black feather. "Agreed. If she came this way, then we need to follow. But let’s not rush blindly—we don’t know what lies ahead." She readies her shield and gestures toward the entrance. "Stay close and alert. We move swiftly but with caution. If something feels off, we stop and assess. Let’s bring her back safe." With that, she steps into the cave, her sharp eyes scanning the dark passage for any immediate dangers as the group proceeds. (Perception: 9)

[[ With darkvision, you can see in dim light as if it were bright, so no disadvantage for B'Reh or Vira to a range of 60 ft. (I believe Emerald Goblet was cast after the skeleton attack before the long rest was completed and would have ended by now? Correct me if that's wrong, but at least for this it has no bearing.) ]]
The trails of dried slime continue into the cave as it slopes down and curves gently to the right. You hear the occasional drip of water onto stone, and a strange looking fungus glows softly from several cracks and nooks in the wall where it seems to have escaped the corrosive nature of the slimes, providing a bit of light as you all walk along. You see a few tiny openings and cracks in the walls that a jerbeen or a raptor might be able to squeeze through with a bit of difficulty, but it seems that the only way a corvum would be able to proceed through this tunnel is forward. Nothing seems amiss, and there are no further signs of anyone having passed through here, but glancing behind, you all don't seem to be leaving much of a trail either.
After about 20 minutes of walking, you notice something braced against the walls up ahead. Drawing a bit closer, you can see that they are wooden struts, the first set of several extending nearly to the end of B'Reh and Vira's normal vision. The ceiling above looks less solid than what you've been traversing thus far, as if at high risk of collapse, and the struts themselves are definitely looking worse for wear, perhaps not having been replaced or maintained for several songs. Even as you stand still for a moment to examine them, there's an audible creak from the tunnel before you.
B'Reh stops in her tracks, eyeing the creaking wooden struts with concern. "This doesn’t look good," she says quietly, gesturing toward the aged supports. "The tunnel could collapse at any moment. I can’t help but wonder if Kenna might have been trapped further in by something like this. It’s possible she couldn’t get back out." She glances back at her companions. "Does anyone have an idea for reinforcing these struts or making the tunnel a bit safer for us to pass through? Even something temporary could give us enough time to get in and out without risking a cave-in." Her gaze lingers on the weakened ceiling above, her expression tense. "We can’t afford to get trapped in here ourselves."
(Emerald Goblet lasts 24h and yes it was cast yesterday IG, I'm not sure how far advanced the day is, it may or may not have ended. If it has ended, b'Reh could cast it again if asked to. I think it is a great benefit for anyone who doesn't already have darkvision and still quite good for everyone else, especially because it lasts so long.)

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Vira tilts her head, regarding the passage with a slight grimace. "I've always been better at breaking things than...well, not breaking them." Tilting her head, her feathers fluff as she seems to remember something. "What about those cracks we saw? Aric, do you think you can squeeze through and check where they go? If they lead to a bigger passage, maybe I can bash them open."
[[ I believe you cast it after the fight with the skeletons which was in the middle of the long rest, so it'll remain active until somewhere between sundown and midnight. ]]
Aric backtracks a short ways through the tunnel, stopping at the first crevice that looks large enough for him to squeeze through. It's a tight fit, but he makes it through after only a brief moment of struggle. He goes to stand on the other side and gently knocks his head against the ceiling on the way up. This tunnel doesn't appear to grow in size much after the initial squeeze, and at the far reaches of Aric's temporary magical darkvision, it looks like it shrinks once again to a size that not even he would be able to squeeze through.
Backtracking even further, the next opening is more of a tunnel than a crack. It extends much further than the first one, but after about 30 ft. of exploration, there are still no signs of it widening to a size that the two strig could fit through.
A third crack in the wall, still within view of the rotten struts, does open up into a wider tunnel fairly quickly, but a minute or two of exploration reveals that it quickly dips further downward and continues away from the initial tunnel, which makes you think it's unlikely that it will serve as an alternate route to the other side of the collapsing tunnel.
Passive Survival 13:
The same sticky slime residue from the cave entrance also coats the floor of this branch, but the only things stuck to it are bits of fur and stray cloth fibers from Aric crawling through the opening. Even if Kenna were able to squeeze through the opening (which you think is unlikely for an adult corvum), it's likely that there would be some hint of her passing through here.
Vira could likely break up some of the rocks blocking this entrance (DC 16 Athletics) and open it up for herself and B'Reh, allowing you all to proceed down this new tunnel deeper into the caverns, or perhaps there are other ways of passing the rotted supports without the tunnel collapsing on top of you, allowing you to continue down your original path.
B'Reh returns carefully toward the rotted section, inspecting the struts and ceiling with an unpracticed eye. She lightly taps the wooden supports, noting the dull creak as they strain under the weight. Her gaze shifts to the ground, looking for loose rocks or other signs of instability, before turning her attention to the ceiling above, scanning for weak points. (Investigation: 4, incl. Guidance)
“These supports are in poor shape,” she says matter-of-factly, running her hand along one strut. “The whole section looks precarious, but it might hold a little longer if we can brace it." She begins searching the area for anything that could reinforce the struts—sturdier beams, rocks, or even vines. (Survival: 22)“If we find something solid, we might be able to support part of the weight and buy ourselves enough time to get through,” she adds, glancing back at the others. “But we’ll need to be cautious and quick—this isn’t a permanent fix, and the risk is still high.”
