As Vira glides southward to the nearest tree, mimicking B'Reh's movement northeast, the wolf she had been eyeing similarly follows her. The two wolves beneath the strig jump upward, snapping at each of them in midair, but are still well over 10 feet out of reach. Sherwin hears them continuing to beg for food, but they don't seem to be able or willing yet to do much with everybody so far above them.
With a sharp gust of wind under her wings, B’Reh drops from the perch, angling her glide toward the wolf just beneath her—but staying just out of its reach. She streaks low (some 20ft above ground) across the clearing, cutting a wide arc in a daring dash toward the northeast where the third wolf prowls.
Dashing just overhead, she draws its attention with the beat of her wings and the glint of her spear, circling back to attempt that both wolves below are focused on her movement rather than Vira’s descent to the south. As she nears the tree in the north, she flares her wings wide and pulls up sharply, rising with powerful beats to perch lightly on one of the thick branches (30 feet high?). From this vantage, she plants her claws and steadies her breath, hoping her swift maneuver has bought her companion precious seconds to engage unchallenged.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Sherwin transforms into a giant lizard, his equipment merging into his form, and climbs down the outside of the nest towards the green wolf (40ft climb speed so I don't believe he will make it to melee this turn). He then continues to talk to the wolf (as you can talk in 2024 wildshape, and speak with animals concentration carries on). "You really should have taken the berry. If you do not flee, you will become fertiliser for this grove. Your death will not be wasted."
[[ 40 ft. of climbing would put you about 15 ft. below the nest, plus another 10 ft. of tree shrinkage at the end of the last round for a total of 25 ft. off the ground. After the wolves' turn before the start of yours, it will become 15 ft. They can leap 10 ft. and occupy a 10 ft. cube so you're just out of reach this round! ]]
Aric and Vira drop at nearly the same moment, Vira slowing her fall with her wings and Aric landing hard into a crouch, ready to spring into action (14 points of falling damage and you land prone, though you have enough movement to stand back up before attacking). Their first two strikes land, badly injuring it, but Aric's following flurry of blows fails to land.
As B'Reh glides back across the clearing, her wolf follows her. The other one under the nest charm tree also takes notice and moves to attempt to intercept her, but quickly realizes she's still out of reach and instead moves to intercept the two ground-level targets. Striking out in tandem, the first wolf bites at Vira (straight roll due to reckless and/or pack tactics nat 20 for 20 halved to 10 damage) and the second bites at Aric (advantage from pack tactics 24 to hit for 6 damage). As Aric falls, the two wolves howl in tandem, which only Sherwin understands. "Blood!""Dinner!" "Blood and meat!"
Combat Round 3
The tree continues to shrink back into the ground, bringing both Sherwin and Eliza another 10 feet closer to the ground and the wolves below. Aric lies bleeding on the ground with a large bite wound on his shoulder.
b'Reh realizes that her game is up and that she will not be able to distract even her wolf for much longer. She glides down to the blue wolf, while uttering a word of healing towards Aric (Healing Word for 5HP, the lowest possible). Then, she lands near the wolf and prepares to dodge its attack.

B'Reh calls upon her divine connection to the Nightfather, closing a few of the puncture wounds around Aric's shoulder, then prepares herself to face the wolf before her. In the same moment, Vira strikes out with her spear, but misses as she focuses on trying to protect Aric's body.
Aric climbs back to his feet and strikes out at the wolf with his quarterstaff once more (9 to hit), just missing as he regains his balance, but follows up with a swift kick to the jaw (22 to hit for 6 damage) that sends it reeling.
Sherwin continues climbing down the tree, approaching the wolf focused on B'Reh from the side and lashes out with a bite at its rear leg (15 to hit for 3 damage).
The first wolf, its target finally in reach, bites out at B'Reh (disadv. 21 to hit for 5 damage). The two to the south move as one, striking out at Vira and Aric (19 to hit Vira for 9 halved to 4 damage, and 14 to hit Aric).
Combat Round 4
The tree continues to sink, bringing Eliza down to just 20 ft. above the ground.
b'Reh continues to try and keep the blue wolf's attention on her, attempting to dodge its fangs, "Best you try and help the other two," she suggest to Sherwin, "I'll try and keep this one busy. We must focus and bring one after the other down, and quickly."

Lizard Sherwin replies to b'Reh "Shout if you need help. I am faster as a lizard" and he moves, risking an AoO (40ft speed) to just North of the green wolf, 15 to hit for 3 damage (exactly the same rolls as last round)
Vira feels encouraged seeing Sherwin coming to her and Aric's aid. Still, the last thing she wants is for Eliza to come in range of these beasts. She calls the nest charm's command word to send it back up, then aims for wolf (green) with her spear.
Action: spear to hit (reckless) 24, damage 11 and sap
Sherwin retreats from the northernmost wolf to help his companions, but as he turns to go, exposes himself to an attack. Having just been bitten on the leg by the giant lizard, it turns and bites back (14 to hit for 11 damage).
Sherwin strikes out with another bite, connecting with the wolf next to Aric, the jerbeen follows up with a hit from his quarterstaff, and Vira closes with a swift jab from her spear, sending the first wolf crashing to the ground.
Vira calls out the command word for the nest charm, but as the canopy slowly continues sinking and retracting back into the trunk, she belatedly remembers that the charm's magic can only be used once per day.
The wolf by B'Reh, no longer feeling particularly threatened or interested by the strig, follows the lizard whose blood it has already tasted, attacking it once more (15 to hit for 8 damage). The wolf next to Vira also bites at her again, but misses as she dodges out of the way (10 to hit).
[[ B'Reh can take a reaction to make an AoO. ]]
Combat Round 5
[[ Nest now 10 ft. above the ground. Players' turn. ]]
Vira grimaces as she remembers too late that the charm only works once per day. "We just have to finish this fast then," she mutters after dodging the wolf's strike.
Action: spear on wolf red to hit (reckless) 16, damage 8 and sap
As the (blue) wolf turns from her with its eyes fixed on the wounded lizard, B’Reh takes the opening. With swift precision, she strikes down from the branch, her spear lancing into the beast’s flank just behind the shoulder. The creature yelps, stumbles for a heartbeat—but its hunger drives it on. (Hit 21 for 9 damage)
B’Reh launches into a glide once more, sweeping low over the clearing, her wings stretched wide as she banks after the (blue) wolf still snapping at her companion. She lands with a sharp gust of wind and thrusts her spear forward. (Hit 11 for 3 damage, if it hits)
(I'm unsure about the HP of Sherwin and Aric since both character sheets aren't shared. b'Reh has one more healing word available which she could use this turn. After that she can only heal once more with a Channel divinity action, unless our rest until now counted as short rest, in which case she would have two uses of Channel Divinity.)

Sherwin is very almost unconscious, after taking two bites. (and not sure why the sheet wasn't shared. I never set it to private)
He debates leaving his form to heal up, but decides against it, taking another bite against the blue wolf. 24to hit, for 11piercing damage. As a bonus action he then leaves his wildshape form, his leather armour and shield giving more protection than the lizard form.
B'Reh stabs into the giant wolf's flank as it turns to pursue Sherwin, before swiftly following it. Vira strikes out with her spear as well, sending the wolf next to her crashing to the ground, and Sherwin sinks his teeth into the last one standing, assuming his normal mapach form as its heavy body falls.
A soft thump sounds near the center of the clearing as the nest finishes retracting and Eliza's cart drops gently onto the ground. "My goodness! I didn't realize that any great beasts lived this close to the Aldertree. Good job taking care of them so swiftly!"
