Initiative order:  Ian, Arafeil, Tyrus, Conalt, Waterdeep troops, Orc troops.

Toll the Dead on closest (Damaged) mage or orc, whichever is applicable

WIS save 14 or take 13 if undamaged or 5   necrotic damage

 Hearing the lovely sounds from Arafiel does no damage this time.

"Oh you'll wish you hadn't laughed, now," Tyrus chuckles. "Approach!" he shouts, making a beeline for the orc mages and trying to coerce them into melee range.

Action: Command at 2nd level on the two orc mages (DC 13 WIS save or the targets move toward Tyrus by the shortest route, ending their turn if they get within 5 feet)

 One orc Mages laughs at the paladin.  The other walks forward.

Conalt will focus the Call Lightning on the laughing mage.

18 Damage (by the way, I just noticed that Call Lightning requires a Dex save, half damage if it succeeds. Rookie mistake. 🤦‍♂️)

As his hair begins to stand on end, the sky opens up and a blast of energy knocks him to the ground.

Conalt turns to Tyrus and says, "hey look, you were right!"

Back behind the Orcs, you see the Hobgoblins take down all but the commander of the Waterdeep riders.  The commander wounds one of the Hobgoblins.  The two remaining Orc elites charge at Tyrus, the influenced mage sprints up to Tyrus.  The last mage picks himself up off the ground.

Facing down the last two orcs, Ian spins it’s blades angled at the orcs.

Dragon cult daggers slicing at the  Orcs.

Arafiel casts another firebolt at a mage   Attack: 23 Damage: 11

Ian slices through the defenses of one Orc... killing him.  Arafiel misses with the Firebolt shot as the blast sails into the trees.

"Now, this is more like it!" Tyrus shouts, turning his back to the two elites for the moment to focus on erasing the mage that is approaching him, preparing to sacrifice one of the last of his spells for the day to punish the orcs.

If that does not put the mage down, he will repeat. If it does put the mage down he will attack one of the elites.

The first strike rings true but the mage snaps out of the effects of the spell and avoids the second swing.

Conalt sends the Spiritual Weapon spinning toward the mage. (Bonus action)

If that isn't enough, be will run forward and attack the mage.

Conalt misses with both attacks.  Both elites attack Tyrus with enchanted battle axes. E1 Attack: 16 Damage: 7

 Further away Two Hobgoblin exchange blows with the commander knocking him to the ground.

Switching back to his bow, Ian takes aim at the Hobgoblin fighting the commander.

and a third arrow with horde breaker skill at the other hobgoblin

With Frusteration Arafiel continues his assult on the mages/elites

carefully sculpting the fireball spell around his companions     FIREBALL 20   Dex save of 14 for 1/2

up to 4 of my friends in area of effect avoid damage completely

 One Mage and one elite bursts into flame.  The others are slightly singed.  Ian hits with two out of three arrows.
