I discovered in a different game application, that you can edit a post with rolls in it and add/remove text. As long as you don't touch the dice rolling convention, you'll be fine.
But if you add another roll (I tried to embed a reroll), it rolls everything new. FAR safer to quote the post with the roll than to edit it and risk a mistake.

Ability scores: 141414141015
Application Format:
Character Name and Pronouns: Nestorceleg (he/him) (nest - or - SELL - leg)
Character Species and Physical Description: Elven stock Aasimiar - Standing shorter than most male elves, his celestial heritage is unmistakable given his silvery hair, golden eyes, and prominent freckles that look like flecks of gold on his skin.
Character Classes and Sub-classes: Celestial Warlock is the first choice. Life Domain Cleric is the second. I can try to make College of Lore Bard work, but the character won't be nearly as functional as a healer.
Character Background and Backstory: The child's birth was politically difficult, as he was clearly an aasimar, which meant that he was a blessing from the gods but would not live the full life of an elf. He was placed with the local church for his education and early training, in hopes that he would find his path faster, and be able to benefit the people as much as possible before his time to live ran out. He focused on healing early, and started moving to heal others before they asked for assistance. His public adult name translates into common as "Hasty Healer". He worships Naralis Analor, the lesser Seldarine of Death, Healing, and Suffering (who despite that list isn't evil), known both as "The Healer" and "The Wacher of Souls". Nestorceleg wants to see more of the world and find others to help.
Physical Description: If not for his pointy ears, you'd think Lucky was your average human, albeit on the short site (around 5'4 in height). But Lucky wears a hood to hide his elven ears, he dyes his golden hair dark and has it cut short, and he has a pitifully thin mustache. He usually wears attire that doesn't draw attention
Character Classes and Sub-classes: In order of preference:
Bard - College of Lore
Sorcerer - Draconic Ancestry
Warlock - Fiend Patron
I'll fill the support/debuffer role during combat.
Background:
"Lucky spent his childhood moving from town to town, helping his adoptive mother scam people. She would target kind, gullible townsfolk, spinning a tale of a heartless elf who had seduced her, taken her money and purity, and left her with nothing but a child in her womb.
She would then show them Lucky, a malnourished elven child in ragged clothes, claiming she had nothing left to feed him except a family heirloom. She’d sell the heirloom—usually a cheap ring with meaningless sigils carved into it—telling her victims it was a magical charm against evil spirits. Lucky would use prestidigitation to make the sigils glow, convincing the duped townsfolk to buy the ring. Once they’d swindled enough people, they’d move to the next town and repeat the con.
But when Lucky hit his teenage years, people stopped pitying him and they grew more and more skeptical of his tricks. One day, while buying a new ring for their next scam, Lucky was arrested by the guards. He soon realized his adoptive mother had betrayed him, leading the authorities to him and making him take the fall for her crimes. As he was carted away to Baldur’s Gate, he caught sight of his adoptive mother, now holding another elven child in her arms.
Lucky spent the next decade in prison, where he met thieves who had stolen bread to feed their families—victims of people like his adoptive mother. When he was released, he swore to protect people from scoundrels like her. "
Character Name and Pronouns: Krius Argent (He/Him)
Character Species and Physical Description: (Subject to some minor changes depending on class choice) A tall, Gold Dragonborn, powerfully built. A look of honesty graces his reptilian features, as does perhaps the grace of a being not entirely aware of his own size.
Character Classes and Sub-classes: (I know you mentioned 3 options, but there are 4 I kind of want to try at the moment, so I figured I'd throw them all in)Bard (Valor) —Paladin (Glory) — Barbarian (World Tree) — Monk (Shadow)
Character Background and Backstory: Wayfarer.
Born into a family of unimpressive means in Faerun, and the bearer or a strong moral compass, Krius (or K, to his friends), has long since strived to make a difference, and ease suffering where he might find it. Upon finding his way into the Citadel — a land built by and for refugees — and perhaps drawn via Draconic Blood to Gems of power, between Dawn Incarnates and Concord Jewels, there was much in this brave new world that might positively enrapture him.
A little socially clumsy and brusque, but of generally keen eye, and more flexible than one might initially find, this gold-scaled, silver-dubbed individual found exploration and mercenary work to be his ticket out of poverty before, and — Gods willing, and with a little luck — will find his way again.
Character Name and Pronouns: Horus Character Species and Physical Description: Tiefling, Horus is a light blue skinned tiefling of average height with a wiry build. His horns are dark blue, stand prominently on his forehead, and curl back slightly. His eyes are very reflective with an almost metallic shade of grey. He usually has a relaxed, easy-going expression on his face even in the midst of battle. Character Classes and Sub-classes: Monk (Warrior of Shadow), Fighter (Eldritch Knight), Sorcerer (Wild Magic Sorcery) Character Background and Backstory: Guide
Horus has always been a wanderer. His wanderlust keeps him from staying in the same place for very long. He quickly makes friends with those who cross his path; traveling with his newfound friends and teaching and learning in turn. The longest he has stayed with a group was with a nomadic tribe of druids who taught him many skills that he continued to use throughout his life. He always tries to make the places he passes through a little bit better before he leaves.
I'm gonna build my character with the free rules, I don't have the PHB yet. :(
Character Name and Pronouns: Florence Stoneshatter. (He/him/his) Character Species and Physical Description:
Like all dwarves, Florence is short and stout, with especially powerful limbs and a muscled body. He wears chain mail armor everywhere, holding a greataxe over his shoulder. He wears worn traveler's clothes and has a battle-worn and battle-scarred face. He speaks mostly in grunts, and he often prefers the plan of charge in and beat-em-up, but, he recognizes that there are people that are much smarter than he is and he will usually listen to them if they come up with a plan. He might not be to good at carrying it out, however...
Character Classes and Sub-classes: I ask that you choose three classes (as well as subclass for each class) that fits your character concept, so that way we can mold the party so everyone has diverse capabilities and I don't have to factor in choice of class when picking players. If you are chosen, we can work with the rest of the group which of their options everyone will play, though of course it will be up to you for the final decision. Group synergy, y'all!
Champion Fighter (Top pick): He will do really well with this and it's the class he was built around. If someone would like to content share the PHB, It will be Battle Master Fighter.
Berserker Barbarian (Second pick): He would also do really well with this, as his original concept was built around this. He would drop his chain armor though.
Devotion Paladin (Last Pick): While Florence could work with this, he was built more around the other concepts. He would change his DEX score to a CHA score, and he would have to change his background to noble. If someone would like to content share, he will be Oath of Vengeance instead.
Character Background and Backstory: it won't matter too much but 1-3 paragraphs of backstory is great if you want to. Please put it in a spoiler so as not to make the thread super long when people are going through it.
Background: Soldier, increase all stats, Playing cards.
Backstory:
Fighter Backstory: Florence stoneshatter was raised as a miner, and his strength was praised by his clan. He turned it to mining, and many claimed that the stone looked akin to paper against his pickaxe. When he came of age, he was granted the surname 'Stoneshatter,' a name that brought him joy. Less than a year later, however, his nation was plunged into war. The kingdom's army saw the young dwarf's strength and turned it to a much darker purpose. He learned the way of the sword, the shield, the club, the axe, so many weapons he couldn't possibly name them all. The war was eventually won, but it had destroyed Florence's home and he found himself unhappy in the whole kingdom, which had years of rebuilding before it was a reasonable place to live. He left, searching for some sort of fulfillment in his life.
Barbarian Backstory: Florence stoneshatter was raised as a miner, and his strength was praised by his clan. He learned the way of anger, learning how powerful his strength was when put to use in battle. The war was eventually won, but it had destroyed Florence's home and he found himself unhappy in the whole kingdom, which had years of rebuilding before it was a reasonable place to live. He left, searching for some sort of fulfillment in his life.
Paladin Backstory: Florence stoneshatter was raised religious, worshipping the gods of earth and treasure. He became a miner who's strength was impressive. He was taught what it meant to love his work, and his life was going well. Then, a rival nation decided they were going to start a war, but weren't going to declare it. 1,000 calvarymen attacked that night, right where his village was. He fled, along with some others, but the town was destroyed. The calvarymen were part of a strike force of about 20,000 men, who all struck at different supply points of the nation, destroying fields, mines, and forests, in an attempt to shut the country down overnight. It almost worked, and the strike force rejoined the larger army the next day for the main attack. However, the mages and the holy warriors came to the rescue. Though they despised each other for their different magics, they came together and drove away the mundane fighters of the enemy with spells. The true winner of the war, however, was a mysterious cloaked figure. It came at the most dire time, and suddenly, meteors fell among the enemy, and the allied forces were protected by a strange rainbow. The cloaked figure must have been killed by the effort, for the cloak was found empty at the end of the battle. Florence witnessed the event from the battlefield, and he chose to train in the footsteps of the holy warriors until he was grown.

She was mentored by the great war leader Barang and accompanied him on headhunting expeditions from throughout the island against all that threatened their home. When Barang grew old, she took over as war leader and led several similar sea war expeditions to make reputative raids among the islands of Dayawlongon itself. Kaelos is a human male with an aasimar heritage. He has a lean, athletic build, an easygoing demeanor and is quick with a smile. Kaelos has shoulder-length hair the color of sunlit sand. and silver-gray eyes carry a quiet determination that — owing to his celestial heritage — become faintly luminous in moments of deep focus or emotion.
Born into a wealthy family that funds the Radiant Citadel, Kaelos could have lived a life of luxury but chose to join the Shield-Wardens to escape the gilded cage of his upbringing. Idealistic and hopeful, Kaelos believes true justice comes from action, not coin. He strives to be the bridge between the elite and the downtrodden, but he wrestles with imposter syndrome and a fear of being seen as a fraud.
1) Paladin (Oath of Devotion) Kaelos’s idealism and commitment to action and his choice to walk away from a life of privilege in favor of serving the greater good reflects the tenets of this oath. His struggles with self-doubt make his devotion all the more meaningful, as every act of heroism is a step toward proving his worth.
2) Monk (Warrior of Mercy) A more introspective take on the character; Kaelos walking away from his life of luxury would mark his dedication to walking a 'purer' path. Through the Way of Mercy, he channels his strength to soothe pain and protect the vulnerable, using his celestial heritage as a guide for balance and harmony. His disciplined approach to life helps him find focus amidst the chaos, although he'll often question whether he is truly worthy of the power he wields.
3) Bard (College of Valor) Raised in a wealthy, cultured environment, Kaelos likely received an education in rhetoric, diplomacy, and the arts. He would use those skills to inspire allies, rally the downtrodden, and bridge divides between opposing factions. His charm and idealism would make him a natural peacemaker, a role he embraces.
