Well making healing potions only requiere Herbalism. So it seems like a usefull skill anyway. Herbalism add lore about plants and agriculture she did grow up with and is a handy skill to have.

True. It'll take 10 weeks to master the use of an Herbalism Kit, and you'll need to acquire one first. Naturally, that can be found in Witchdoctor Duncan's Apothecary.
You definitely got a long rest last night. But good question.
Since this campaign has a survival element (and quality rest is not guaranteed on the road) you'll need to log all that stuff. I also request that you track ammunition, rations, and carrying capacity. Sometimes there will simply be too much treasure to carry.
I rolled a 17 for initiative. Which I really needed, on level 1 vs 4 thugs. 'Cause it could go real bad, real fast otherwise, but it's gonna be fun and kindda dramatic. I'm excited
You know, the one bad part about being a lvl 1 monk is that you feel less like you know kung-fu and a bit more like you're a fighter that's cheating a bit, because you got your second attack before everyone else.

Don't get me started on the 3E monk! 😂 But I like monks. The way you can describe combat is so much fun! And don't you worry. Cool monk gear is coming your way.
These thugs are weakened from starvation and dehydration, but they're no pushovers. I'll admit. This battle is going to be hard won without the whole party. Duncan can help, but he's no adventurer.
So I would assume that Bucherans place was the opposite direction from the Dance hall as the location of Duncans? Just trying to map the town in my head.
I dunno, these two look like their handling their business.
@DM - Out of curiosity, in a densely populated environment, do you roll to see if errant projectiles hit innocent bystanders?
From the entrance, there's the market district, followed by the tent community, followed by The Laughing Dwarf, followed by headquarters. The cemetery and shrines are on the opposite side of the main street between The Laughing Dwarf, and headquarters. The residential district is behind the tent community and near merchant district.
Currently, if you're behind The Laughing Dwarf, you're near the town walls, and behind a two story building. So you can't see, or hear what's going on. You wouldn't be able to see what's going on from the dance hall.
But if you'd like, we can retcon this and say you're going to go meet up with Sera. On the path to Sera, you'll see the thugs.

He didn't get a good chance to show off last encounter, so I'm curious to see what he can do with that quarterstaff of his.

Sounds good. That killed the Temp HP though, oh well, shouldn't be at 17hp until level 4ish for a sorcerer.

that was some very good rolls. i used the skill test as free action since my bonus action demands no speaking. I hope i got it right

I not quite see how you might join this unless a bolt hits a Innocent bystander next to you and then you spend how many rounds of running?
