Ororana was supposed to have leather pants, but when the AI generated her with thigh-high boots and basically fan-service armor, I felt it fit her character more. She's trouble... but ya' know... the fun kind. 🤭
Sera hunt around feor a blue gown nothing to decorative. Pretty but she is no noble so she only wear a symbol of Paladine ....she is prepared to pay 15 steel for it..
You should be able to find one easily. We can either RP a shopping trip, or you can just take the Stl from your inventory and add Fine Clothes to it. Assume it comes with accessories (matching shoes, jewelry, and hair pieces or a wig if you prefer), but please feel free to describe what you found when you make your grand appearance if you decide to fast forward through the shopping process. I'm a sucker for a good fashion show.
I seem to remember Kender are the dragonlance equivalent of halfling, and called such at times due to being “half” the size of “normal” folk. Though it was 30 years ago I read Dragonlance
I guess that's a great question, does Sharn know who that halfling is?
Sharn knows the halfing. Her name is Amelista. She was a senator in the north, who renounced her position to join the cause. A political mover-and-shaker, she assumed she'd have no trouble finding a position of power quickly. But she took too long to arrive, and contributed too little to win the crowd over. But she noticed things, while trying to spread her name around town that made her suspicious. Soon she changed her politcal stance from "joining the council" to routing consipirators within the council, believing that an evil cult is pulling the strings of the council without the townspeople's notice. They soon discredited her as a lunatic, and now, almost daily, she gets on a literal soapbox and rants to the town that they're being manipulated. In the evening, you can find her at The Laughing Dwarf Dance Hall, gambling the dwindling remains of her wealth away in hopes of winning enough money to buy the influence she craves. But she's not a great gambler. Her clothes are running threadbare, and her frame is slim from starvation. I'll add her to the dossier once the rest of the party meets her.
I seem to remember Kender are the dragonlance equivalent of halfling, and called such at times due to being “half” the size of “normal” folk. Though it was 30 years ago I read Dragonlance
Halflings exist in Dragonlance as a seperate species from Kender, but they are racial cousins. They have different cultures, languages, religions, and reputations, and appear slightly different. They're not as closely related as closely related as Qualinesti elves and Silvanesti elves either. You can tell the two apart from a moderate distance, but one could very easily disguise themself as the other.
Since romantic interludes are a common thing in this game, and there are more than enough chances for the other players to get some action in Santekh (y'all are the hot topic in town... plenty of he's, she's, and they's would be more than willing to mess up some bed sheets with Dawnbound) I've decided to include a probability chart as a consequence of consensual sex. First and foremost, I'd like to prohibit RP of nonconsual sex in this game for my own reasons. A vague one-liner in a backstory for the purposes of establishing a character's narrative is acceptable. And if two PCs are engaging, and one of them RPs a note to the sentiment of "not tonight" I need to insist that the intiator(s) post be edited to accomodate that. I think we're all on the same page here, but I feel it's good to establish that ground rule anyway.
I'm rolling for probability of STI and pregnancy behind the screen when either are possible. Birth control, STI prevention alchemy, abortion care, and pregnancy care are all available in most settlements, including Santekh.
But when two consenting adults decide to bump adorables, both players should roll a d6 for consequence. Here's what I've cooked up. Let me know if you'd like to make any corrections or suggestions:
The encounter was so vigorous that you awaken after your rest sore (covered in love marks and other naughty reminders) and with wobbly legs: You lose 1 HP and gain 1 Level of Exhaustion.
The encounter was delightfully vigorous, but you're stiff and sore afterwards: You gain 1 Level of Exhaustion.
The encounter was delightful and pleasant, but you gain no in-game benefits from the rest.
The encounter was invigorating and boosts your morale: you gain Heroic Inspiration
The encounter was so invigorating that you feel an extra sparkle to your day: you gain Heroic Inspiration and the benefits of a Long Rest.
The encounter was something you'll never forget. A truly magical experience: You gain Heroic Inspiration, Long Rest, and 1 Temporary HP.
Thoughts? Once all suggestions are agreed upon and implemented, I'll add it to the Game-Specific House Rules.
Do you think it would be fair to add your CON modifier (positive or negative) to the roll? A person with a low CON modifier might not be able to keep up with a person with a high CON modifier. So a barbarian bumping adorables might wake up ready to take on the world. Whereas, say a wizard, might be more likely to walk funny and need some extra cups of water for a few hours the next day.
Depending on the circumstanses you have setting, mood and participants that sets a difficulty. And this can be attempted to be adjusted by the participants. Romantic dinner, lap dance, increased beauty or appealing in any way the partner like? Where is this done? In graveyard might be a mood breaker for some or a increased mood adjuster for others. etc etc
All this sums up a difficulty.
-5 on the test under the set difficulty gives a bad sex table roll. a +5 above set difficulty on the test a postivie one. A nat 1 a very bad thing happens and a nat 20 some heroic thing happens.
Now i assume there must be some way of magical birth control in a fantasy setting. in real medevial history. Most woman was home tending to the kids and not going to war simply put because it was not possible raise a kid in a battle field.
Female adventurers must face the same challenges but since we roleplay and here equality between the genders exist because a female kick ass, cast spell, get divine powers just as equal as men I belive some spells would have been invented about this or some sosial norm.
But this is DnD roleplay game not focused on realism. We do not need to make this a big issue. I enjopy the complications this would bring as a dramatic roleplay oppertunities and not figure out the big picture.
But I say this since equality exist in the game world the organizations would probably have in place some great ways to take care of the children that their parents can not attend to. The kinghtly orders, Tower of hig sorcery, temples ...even thiefs guilds would have something in place so important members not need to retire but can combine having kids and having important tasks ( a job ).
This can be anything from daycare places to magical babysitter ( a golem babysitter lol)
A trolley with Lemonds tiny hut on it that only mother and father can enter? :D
Is the suggestion on the table that we add our CON modifier to our D6 roll? If so, I think it’s only appropriate I excuse myself from that vote because it would be self serving for my character. Now if it were a 1d10? Then there’s a chance that those with higher Cons could suffer negative effects. If it were a performance roll, that would be hilarious. Hastos would be in for a rough time.
Merkas isn’t interested in sexual Encounters. While he did espouse his undying loyalty to Verhana it was simply due to the beauty he perceived not a desire for intimacy. Myself, I play D&D for the adventure and puzzles, not sex and romance. So I agree with the first rule in regards to forced situations, but for myself and my character I see no need for the “random sex table”
I love use it. Life, family, relations, sex, traditions all kind of life complications and joy give me an imersion into the character. Then adventuring for a reason is more satisfying.

As for adventuring while pregnant, I have an easy solution in place for that. Buckeran's chambers disallow lethal damage. A similar enchantment can be placed on a fertalized egg that will protect the baby in utero. Perhaps the baby itself will be born with a natural ability to cast the Friends cantrip that keeps it from danger. Daycare is an easy fix, built right into the game mechanics. Hirelings. I'm sure as your guild grows, trusted members of the guild turn into surrogate aunts and uncles who would be honored to watch the kid while you save the world as well.
Birth control, after-morning pills, and abortions are readily available at a low price in all settlements, and as you learn how to brew potions, you could make a concoction youself that either increases or eliminates the likelihood of pregnancy.
And if you wanna really lean into the fantasy aspect of this... who says the woman has to be the one to get pregnant? A baby born from an AMAB would have to be birthed surgically or by magic, but, if Hastos wants to waddle into battle, I see no reason why he can't.
As for difficulty and ahem... performance... I would assume you could choose how well you each played your parts. Especially since there's no XP to be gained from the interlude. There aren't any classes in 5E that use sex magic, so there's no carved path for me to calculate DC. If you want your character to be awkward and clunky in bed, go for it. But each of you are basically the olympian ideal and theoretically possess the strength, stamina, and agiliy to make your characters' bodies perform as they like.
But sure, if you prefer, a Performance check to add some shenanigans to it. What about this:
Performace DC: 1-5: Didn't go well, and it got awkward, decided to break and cuddle or get a snack. 6-10: A quaint, mediocre experience. A bit short, but you were tired. 11-15: Great romp! Got enough energy for a round 2? 3? 16-20: A night to remember! This is the kind of stuff poets write about! 21+: Never... felt... like this... before! LEG CRAMP! GET ME SOME WATER I CAN'T MOVE YET! DON'T TOUCH ME!" *blacks out* 🤭
Now, of course, none of these rules are necessary at all. My hope is it'll add an element of fun to the RP, buy providing risk, rewards, and perhaps a generational story, if that's a thing you're interested in. If it takes away from the fun, we can scrap the idea altogether.

As for NC sex, I +1 your approach.
I could make it a d10, but I wanted it to be much easier for you to benefit from the experience than lose from it. After all, adventurers are the celebrities of DND. Even kings will eventually hire you to attend their court and meet with them. There isn't a person alive who doesn't eventually entertain fantasies about their favorite actors, musicians, or characters, even if it's just to ship them with other people/characters. That's what Dawnbound is to Santekh right now. Since cheapjoke123 and Hrothbert_Neruca wish to be removed from the spicier aspects of game roleplay, I'll limit my RP to harmless fandom. "Wow! You're so cool! Can I have your autograph? You're my favorite member of Dawnbound *shows t-shirt with your face painted on it*" and leave it at that. I mainly had Ororana flirt with Sharn, because Ororana knows Sharn well enough to know it would fluster him, and she's a flirt who enoys flustering people... like how she immediately switched to flirting with Verhanna.
If you have a suggested list of 10 consequences I'd love to hear them, but let's see what I can cook up:
The encounter was so intense that you sustain minor injuries: You lose 5 HP and gain 2 Level of Exhaustion.
The encounter was powerful to the point of invogorating: You gain Heroic Inspiration, Long Rest, and 5 Temporary HP.
The encounter was powerful to the point of life changing: You gain Heroic Inspiration, Long Rest, 5 Temporary HP, and 10 XP.
The encounter was so transcendental, even the gods acknowledge your actions: You gain Heroic Inspiration, Long Rest, and an epiphany (special lore delivered by the god you call out to).
It feels a bit broken. I don't like it that much. What do you think?
I like either approach. I was just think that with a +3, it would never be less than good, so it seemed safe. At least with a d10 there’s a chance at a 4, but honestly if the worst it can get is “delightful and pleasant”, then I’m not sure it would add any risk to the encounter (if only real life were so kind!)
I loved the bodily injury aspect to your list! lol! I think if we had a larger group interested in the pursuit, that would be an epic feature!
But since half the group isn’t participating in the feature, I say we leave out any bonuses. The Performance scale would be hilarious.
Ha ha funny. I like the performance list. Since it is just for adding flavor we can leave out the game technical effect. I be happy to just have the result.
And now we start with Bastion. You SERIOUS belive Sera share kitchen with a dwarf that wirship dirt? A kender? ( we have no forks, spoons whatever) and an elf? Actually an elf I consider ok. I get a feel the kitchen will be benefitting. .;)
Ok, so Performance checks only. Do you still want to include pregnancy and STI risks (Hastos and Sera have no current STI risks, unless they seek diversion elsewhere)?
Ororana was supposed to have leather pants, but when the AI generated her with thigh-high boots and basically fan-service armor, I felt it fit her character more. She's trouble... but ya' know... the fun kind. 🤭

After getting the gown Sera will go to the tavern for a long rest.
I belive we have 1 level of exation now and Sera is low on spells.
I guess that's a great question, does Sharn know who that halfling is?
Halflings? Sure it is not a gnome or kender? Planewalking halfling? I unsure halflings is in dragonlance. And they be looked upon as big feet gnomes.
