You strike out from Aben Laom while the sun's still out. You wouldn't want to be out at night after all, especially on country roads. After only a short time, though, you reach a guard stop. It is a hastily-erected wooden structure, with a tiny (yet still perceptible) tilt in its structure. Two guards sit opposite the ramshackle building.
Once you come into the guards' view, one gets up, abandoning a game of cards. "Halt! What business do you all have here?"
Lyssa approaches the two guards. She carries herself with the confidence of someone who believes they have every right to be where they are doing what they're doing.
"We're going into the dungeon," she says assertively.
"Ah, adventurers! Pass on through, I suppose." The guard steps aside to let you pass.
From here, its only a short trip to the front of the dungeon. Only a small sliver of the massive structure is viewable above-ground. It once might have been a building's facade, decked with stone pillars that could have been bright white in the distant past.
You see a room. It's level to the entrance you threw the torch through, but isn't decorated. From this angle, you see one passageway leading out of the room, in a roughly straight line in front of you.
"Lathander guide our way," Lyssa prays and a bright glow blooms from her gleaming shield. It chases away the darkness around her and gives her confidence to step forward.
With her shield raised, she steps through the dungeon's entrancr.
Lyssa waves the others in before crossing to peer at the map on the wall. She looks for any signs of landmarks, but is most interested to see which of the three passages seems less documented by the map.
The center path is by far the most developed. It stretches to the far side of the map, while the others barely reach past this room. A couple branches also are on the center path, but they are usually just short stubs, rather than fully-explored paths. Only one path stretches the diameter of the map.
Lyssa hums thoughtfully as she peruses the crudely drawn map. She uses a calloused finger to trace some of the shorter paths.
She calls to her dungeon delving companions, "Can someone take a copy of this map? I think we should take one of the paths that hasn't been fully mapped. We're more likely to find something there. The well-mapped paths will surely have been looted already."
Myr is also good to go.

"We have licenses."
She produces hers to show the guards.
Corgan holds up his license as well.

OOC: Casting Light.
Myr follows Lyssa into the now lit room, looking left and right for anything that might have been out of view.
As you go into the room, you can see two more exits, and, scratched onto the wall, a barely-filled-out map of your surroundings.
Lyssa waves the others in before crossing to peer at the map on the wall. She looks for any signs of landmarks, but is most interested to see which of the three passages seems less documented by the map.
While Lyssa looks at the map, Myr keeps an eye on all 3 of the entrances, alert for anyone else entering the room.
Corgan follows picking up his torch in the process.

Howard carries on towards the back. Watching for any troubles.

Corgan raises his hand then his blue skin becomes dark in embarrassment.
"I can do it, but lack paper." he makes a mental note to buy some later.

With a smile, Corgan rubs his hands and bows over the writing implements. "I can put my map making skills to use."
