"I'm tired and need a bath and a bed. After that I'll have a look at the belt Dain....and that stone you were talking about. All day I felt like being walked to a much to dangerous park by my dad while he was keeping away all the nasty bullies and all I could do was cry and stomp on their toes a little. If we had prepped this more and given it more thought this might've gone quicker and ....... (Seeing Dain isn't listening he stops talking and just walks on).
"The only positive thing is that I forgot to use the holy water they gave us."
"Thank you for taking care of me my friend" as he puts a hand on Dain's shoulder. "Let's go and see some people and then have some sleep and food."

Approaching Kazdahr-Dum you see guards standing near three piles of ash two dead bodies and one unmoving undead with a long tongue and long dangerous finger nails, claws.
Thrain Blackbeard Is inspecting the undead, as you are hailed by the guards…
Dain’s need to protect those around him, seeing the dwarven guard die and become these abominations… fueled a frenzied adrenaline in his heart that would become apparent whenever he starts to feel particularly reckless.
For now though, he was calm and collected as they approached Kazdahr-Dum. Seeing Thrain bending over the undead, he could intuit that they’ve had similar problems on this front as well.
”Hail Thrain! We’ve returned and not under the best of tidings.”
"Hail Thrain. I see Kazduhr-Dum has had similar problems as we encountered in the brewery and on our way back on the road. For now the brewery is cleansed of the evil and I would bid you a bed before we report everything. Fighting tires me I have noticed, while it seems to give my companion Dain strength and energy."
Aldun gives Thrain a formal bow, staying away as much as possible from the corpses afraid they wake up again.
"All safe in town? Have we been hit hard and suffered losses?

”What do you make of this specimen? Something seems unusual about its original form I think… Wait you mean it’s true Fjörn’s is overtaken? Where are the guards that were with you?” You see as he notices the extra arms and armor Dain is presumably carrying. “Oh! The smStonelord will want a report, at the moment however we have our hands full. Go get some rest eat and wash up, but don’t leave town.”
If you check out the undead Thrain is examining make an investigation roll.
Careful about getting to close to the undead Aldun takes his notes, finds a good spot and investigated the undead meticulously (investigation roll 21) writing down everything he thinks might be of importance. Even so that Dain is pacing around in circles waiting for Aldun to finish. "Just go and get a beer or some, Drain. I have some more writing to do. I'll find you and then we'll check out the stone and the belt you have. This is where I get plenty of energy from."
Long after Dain has left Aldun decides all details have been written down. He spits on the ghast cursing it and walks away, off to Dain.
At the bar I tell Dain the one undead used to be a drow and bore him with all my notes. Then I ask him for the stone and the belt and I decide to also have a better look at the tankard, investigating all from top to bottom. By now I have completely forgotten all missery from earlier. In stead I'm rubbing, pulling, pushing, following lines on the items to see if there is a deeper truth to them. Now and then I stealthily cast an illusion of a beer for Dain to cry out in laughter about his disappointment of the fake beer. Only when the bar closes I realize it's time to stop.
Sure I drink from it. Once it's clear to me it keeps me sober I decide to try it out. Investigating while drunk is a no go so i'm real pleased with the tankard.
Am I able to tell more about the stone by the fact it reappears near Dain?

Dain if you leave the stone with Aldun about an hour goes by and the stone appears back within 5’ of you.
The guard you recall who wore the belt had a beard any dwarf would’ve been proud to have…
The acolytes holy symbol amulet wasn’t just defiled it was turned an almost unheard of process…
the tankard seems to be what it looks like a tankard of sobriety, let me know if you drink from it…
