Thrash, his hand still on Alustines shoulder will shift his gaze from his eyes to the leather armor he was wearing. "You know... I have a leather working kit and some metal I stole from that old house.. I may be able to upgrade it to studded leather if you wanted.
**so you guys drew on the map that you were going to Strahd's catle first, then decided you would go there last, You can change your path as you go but I need a starting direction to move things along. Do we have a destination? You can even go back to town to get more info/supplies or talk to the other Vistani.**
Ok.. so where is strahds castle then. Lets start with that. Then I can re-do the map or whatever. Also you said there were no armor sellers in town, so unless everyone else wants to go back for simple things like rations, or info...
oK, WELL WHERE IS STRAHDS CASTLE, I could be wrong, but I only remember you saying 'she circles it on your map' but not actually telling us where it is.. is it that unmarked castle that i circled as the first stop?
Thrash will start walking towards their first objective, not worrying about stopping back at the town since he didn't see anywhere that sold armor on their way through.
(Yeah, I thought we decided that wasn't the first spot lol)
Thrash will make a rude gesture at the castle with his clawed hand as he walks past towards the next location marked on the map, with the intention of finding useful items and weapons they can use against Strahd.
**Thats why i asked. I was very confused by where exactly you guys were going first, and nobody really answered me. Then you just said 'first destination', so i followed Rajirras map.
I can roll it back and say you're still at the vistani camp, but if you guys could lock down a destination, that would be great*
There. It's not like we have to be strict to this path, obviously, I don't want the other players to feel like they have no choice, or that I'm railroading them to it, but I marked EVERY potential thing of interest on the map that was obvious.. even a little cave in the mountains I didn't see before.
Also my Tabaxi's favored terrain is 'mountain' so all these hills and stuff wont slow us down etc, because of
Natural Explorer
You are particularly familiar with one type of natural environment and are adept at traveling and surviving in such regions. Choose one type of favored terrain: arctic, coast, desert, forest, grassland, mountain, swamp, or the Underdark. When you make an Intelligence or Wisdom check related to your favored terrain, your proficiency bonus is doubled if you are using a skill that you’re proficient in.
While traveling for an hour or more in your favored terrain, you gain the following benefits:
Difficult terrain doesn’t slow your group’s travel.
Your group can’t become lost except by magical means.
Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.
You choose additional favored terrain types at 6th and 10th level.

**okay, just checking, leaving now?**

Potions? or maybe metal I can use to try to make armor for people?
Not sure how much the DM is going to allow you to make

(I will be honest, the map was too small for me to see anything lol. I was just going to say "Thrash walks towards the first stop on the map")
**yeah that castle right above where you are now is where Eva told you is Castle Ravenloft, Strahd's castle**
