“Let my try dear “ says Lebenha and concentrates. She was wishing, praying for this moment years ago. She reaches inside her for the swirling energies that are inside her and open her eyes, now her pupiles gone and her eyes glowing with a faint blueish glow.
“You may want to take a few steps back “ she says to the others.
She raises her hands and a spinning, cold wind came from her arms, swirling from her hands towards the sigils covering them momentarily
After a few seconds there she opens her eyes and see if it has worked.
"Well, that didnt work," Folzi says with disappointment and rubbing his chin after seeing Lyra's spells be absorbed by the door. Just about as he was going to suggest something with a little more power he sees Lebenha begin to cast something and jumps out of the way to avoid the wintery precipitation.
OOC: Checks? ALL the checks I will allow the party to perform checks beyond PP and PI as well as anything else you can think of!!
The sigil/rune absorbs the sleet storm as the temperature in the room dramatically drops! Then a scraping noise, the stone wall begins to slide up into the ceiling above the opening to a corridor but there's a table immediately in front of the door with a large book blocking the entrance to the hidden tomb! The chanting is now clear echoing down the corridor to the party.
Carrigan, Lyra, & Leb immediately understand the chanting.
She has risen, she has risen, vengeance is nigh, vengeance is nigh....
If he can reach the table without running over anyone (and there isn't something obvious like a spooked guard), Thomas will Investigate both the book and the table.
Investigation Check:10Are there obvious traps, what language is used, etc.

"We need to move through in case this closes again, help me move this table out of the way." Hrain speaks quietly if the door rising didn't make too much noise, still trying to make the most of any element of surprise. "Folzi, keep an eye out we need to know if anything is coming".

Neither Lyra or Thomas can see anything outside the ordinary having never been in this part of the Temple it's all new. Thomas finds no traps and does not understand thr chanting. Lyra can not make out what direction, or is it echoing, is coming from.
The table looks orienanmental, delicate is the word that springs to mind, and the book seems an obscure text about the Sisters if Mercy.

Folzi gives the captain a nod, "Sure thing, Boss," and then sneaks through the legs of the table and draws his crossbow. He moves so that he can have a view down the corridor from where the chanting is coming from.
OOC: I'll say from spoke, to stairs, to room it's been 30 mins. Longstrider has got another 30 mins I believe it's an hour?
Folzi moves under the table easily crouching slightly and walking down the corridor realizes the chanting is coming again from above at the end of the cooridor is yet another sets of narrow stone steps where the chanting is louder than ever before.

Haldur takes a moment to listen to the strange chanting, feeling an icy finger of dread crawl down his spine at it's foreign yet ominous sound. The mercenary grips his halberd tightly for assurance and swallows audibly, but his expression is fierce and determined and his gaze never wavers from the path forward.
Perception Roll against Passive Score of 14, hoping to discern more precise distance or direction of the chanting:5
After a brief moment of listening intently, the sellsword steps forward to assist Hrain in moving the table, should the paladin still wish to do so.
"I'm here to help, Captain."
Athletics Roll to help Hrain move the table, if he still wants to:19
Haldur and Hrain move thr table easily out of the pathway of the party just as Fozli stops at the end of the corridor with the stairs ahead. This passage too is not lit. Thomas' light is needed for the humans to advance without penalties to checks.

"Captain" says Lebenha " the chanting is a praise to the awakened Queen. I think we must be ready to fight or go back to the tunnels and try to reach the Milekki sister we saw..."
Thomas will move slowly forward down the hall, watchful for any sign from Folzi that he should stop.

"Thank you for telling me, it is as I feared then. There are enemies in our house and they must be destroyed. I will not allow worshippers of a false goddess to profane this holy place for a moment longer than necessary." Hrain looks away from Lebenha and down the hall where Thomas' light allows him to see a little way.
" Thomas, do you know where we are? And where do we think they are most likely to be gathering?"

The young warrior set his mouth into a hard line, furrowed his brow, and nodded in compliance to his Captain. He was braced, tensed, but somehow also deeply immersed in his natural element. The palpable danger, the tangible risk that lay around the corner, only served to steel Haldur's resolve. The mercenary assumed his position, halberd held at the ready, and the ghost of a wolfish, aggressive smirk played at the corners of his lips.
"Yes sir." Under his breath, he added to himself, "This queen will pay for the chaos and death she has sewn here..."
