"Oh no, my non-friend, there will be no escape for you." Rin says, moving his hex to the last remaining Redbrand. He charges the man, striking out with his longsword, too consumed by rage to notice that the others were attempting non-lethal blows.
RB2 receives a harsh religious indoctrination, first being struck by a Moridin infused hammer blow, and then hearing the good news of the Way of the Flail before he had even recovered from his first lesson. The divine instruction was too much for his young body, and he slumps dead.

RB2 screams in frustration at Delta, watching Delta's wounds close up. "Why won't you die!", and in his fury unleashes two attacks at Delta
Attack: 17 Damage: 8
Attack: 14 Damage: 7
Edit: $(%(_(^%(_(
My companies firewall got pissy about this site hence the screwy update/"manipulated" dice rolls. The rolls *I* saw were attack 5, dmg 7, attack 19, dmg 8
Also, apparently these guys were supposed to be attacking twice all along. Oops lol
OoC: It's RB1 who's conscious to attack Delta, right? And I believe it was Anton who dealt the knockout blow to RB2, so he should be knocked out but not dead... Was RB1 adjacent to Anton when he attacked Delta? The picture in my mind was that they were standing next to each other and that Anton was able to engage both. If so the sentinel attack would have triggered, which I think ought to have finished him off (assuming same HP as the other one)? Actually even if they weren't adjacent, Anton would have moved to engage him after finishing off RB2.
OoC: Oh, then the other question is, would the Sentinel attack have occurred between RB1's two attacks (in which case Delta didn't get hit)? I know we discussed before that sentinel happens after the triggering attack, but is it after an attack, or after an attack action?
“Thanks,” Delta says to Anton, visibly shaken from the encounter and a little surprised by the unconscious body at her feet. “So who wants to explain what happened here?” eyes flickering towards Leoneiros and Rin. “Actually maybe we should go somewhere a little less out in the open first.”
Rin, breathing heavily, looks at his tail and sees its only a minor wound. He starts to calm down, "Hello friends, you have come back, and just in time too!" he says.
"The good lady at the Coster warned us of the Redbrands and how they might steal out things, so we came back to guard the wagon and await your return. These tried to take the wagon, but we did not let them."
A spark of excitement shoots across his face when he suddenly says to the group, "And look, I got this amazing sword!" he says, lifting the longsword up so everyone can see it. The sunlight glints off the blade and Rin's excited eyes. After a moment, he'll put it into its loop on his back.

Anton closes his eyes, the muscles in his face and body going tense for a moment. When he opens them, the blood seems to stop seeping from his wounds [second wind, healing 6 HP]. He shakes his head solemnly, and speaks quietly to Rin.
"We just met with Ms. Thornton, who has tasked us with taking out the leader of the Redbrands, a Mr. Glasstaff, on behalf of the town. It seems we've now announced ourselves. I suppose the townspeople will now be aware that they have a group of champions on their side, which may be a good thing, though I fear that we've forfeited any element of surprise we may have had. What do you suppose we should do with these two? Leave them here and let them wake on their own time? Bring them somewhere and try to get some information? Or perhaps we should lean into having announced ourselves and tie them up in the town square as an example."
"Oh yes, I like the idea of tying in the square as an example!" Rins says.
"As far as what to do next, my good friend at the Coster warned us away from the Sleeping Giant inn. That is where they hang out. Do you know where Glasstaff is?"
"Hmm," Ordrin scrunches his lips and taps his chin with one finger. "For the life of me, I canno' recall. But I'msure she must have told us." Ordrin starts tying up the unconscious rebrands. Looking at his bruised and injured companions, Ordrin feels a wave of guilt. "I regret I have not the strength to call Moradin's aid to your ailments, friends. I'm in sore need of rest. Let's finish this work and get us to bed, in safety."
"Agreed. So we will bind their hands and leave them in the town square, then back to the inn to rest for the night before seeking out Glasstaff in the morning?"
"We had a difference of opinion with a group of Redbrands. But I think we got them to come around to our way of thinking," Anton says, straight-faced as he takes a seat at the bar. "You ah, may not want to mention you saw us."
Turning to the party he says, "Come to think of it, maybe we shouldn't be sitting out here in public right now. We may be better off getting to our rooms."

Attack: 23 Damage: 6 + 5 necrotic Hex damage.

Leoneiros, seeing no other option, goes for both of his attacks, a swing of his staff upwards, hitting his enemy's chin...
Attack: 17 Damage: 9 Bludgeoning non-lethal
(Edited the second roll later.)
And feeling a miss, he compensates by shoving his leg toward the Redbrand's waist.
Attack: 20 Damage: 6
(Edit2: Good I got that crit a few rolls back, because it just went downhill from there.)

Yep, I forgot the sentinel attack! Thanks :) He would indeed be toast, and I'd apply the sentinel before attack #2.
Also missed you dpecifying non lethal (and 23-4 still hits) so RB2 is out cold, and RB1 is dead

"Aye," Ordrin agrees, easing the trembling in his hands. "But I am not shy of the constable. We broke no law protecting ourselves."

Thalia Hornton told you he was holed up at Tresendor Manor, on the outskirts of town"Agreed. So we will bind their hands and leave them in the town square, then back to the inn to rest for the night before seeking out Glasstaff in the morning?"

"Back to the inn sounds like a great idea. I would like, maybe, one more ale and then bed time." Rin says.
"Aye, two more ales and then a good night's rest."
So, i'm assuming you bound the two Redbrands in town square and went in to the inn.
