Hexody says to Amy, "We should find the others at the inn before embarking on any errand. They may wish to join us. And I would hate to get separated and get distracted from rescuing poor Gundren."
Freda responds, "Oh they are local. Don't know where they live, but they frequent the Sleeping Giant in on the east end of town."
A young human boy passing by your table looks over and says "Qelline Alderleaf’s son Carp said he found a secret tunnel in the woods, but Redbrands almost caught him."
"PIp! Don't go telling stories!" A young human woman, you'd assume the boy's mother scolds the child. "Not that there aren't enough stoiries of the Redbrands."

Kelsier moves next to Hexody. ”You have proven to be a capable, if not squeamish, ally in the past. I would ask that you hear me out and that you stay with me. A phantom local gang is something we need to put down. I know that our issues with our employer are quite important, but this is as important. I will not have a group of brigands ruling my people with fear. It is my duty as a leader to serve the populace and protect Phandelin from both internal and external threats. Therefore, I will handle this threat, with or without help. However, I would be glad to have you and our acquaintances with me. Would you delay in helping Gundren to help my people?”
Talon upon overhearing Kelsior's plea for assistance to Hexody, moves closer to the pair. "I will be aiding ye, laddy. I've me own reasons for sure; but ye can count on me blade should ye seek out the Redbrands." As Talon makes this statement his eyes burn with a passionate fire for retribution. "The lasses I be travelin' wit would likely aid ye as well. I canna be speakin' for them; but ye would do well to seek their counsel."
Hexody purses her lips. "There are many in trouble in this region. We cannot help them all. That said, we can help people here and now. Gundren we have to find and he may not even be saved." She sighs. 'We will have to find him, though, if his map poses the threat it seems. Yes. I will join you."
Jaelryn concludes her conversation and walks over to the rest of the group, overhearing their discussions of going after the bandits. “I just learned that the Sleeping Giant tavern might be the best place to start lookin’ for these troublemakers. I’m inclined to join in if you’ll have me. I’ve got nothing better to do at the moment besides drink myself into oblivion, and I have an elf’s lifespan to do that.”
Talon flashes his dashing smile at Jaelryn. "I would drink to oblivion any time with you lass. Or to any other reason, come to think of it." Talon ends his statement with a laugh. "But for now, we have some mangy curs to put down. Perhaps the fair people o' this town would be providing a wee reward for dealing with the dogs."
Kelsier follows Folari, adding “and a room for me, if you would please.”

The innkeeper takes your money for the rooms and food. A very chatty barmaid named Elsa brings out your order.

“Thank you Freda,” Jaelryn smiles. “Sounds like the Redbrands are trouble. Are they local or do they just come in and cause a ruckus and then leave?”
Hexody rejoins the men securing rooms at the inn to secure one for herself as well. She listens in to figure out what they are talking about.

You all take rooms for the night, whether in the inn or with Sister Garaele. The night passes uneventfully.
The inn serves a hearty breakfast, and you can smell it when you wake up. How do you spend the morning?
