Elyza doesn't want to stand out in an alien planet alone so she also goes back. She picks some herbs that seem interesting on the way so she can study them later.
Elirdain scratches his neck at the amount of people wanting to go back.
"I don't think the rowboats can handle us all with the addition of this large feline beast. I'll set up camp with Fera and stay here if it needs to be."

Elyza responds to Elirdain, "I don't really want to go back. I'd much rather stay here and study the flora. I just don't want to be the only one here. There's strength in numbers after all. If you stay here, then I can stay behind too."
The tiger continues to thrash against its confines, letting out muffles cries. It takes four people to effectively carry the large tiger with the log as a carrying pole.
The party moves back towards the shoreline. However, there are a dozen humanoid figures on the sand. They have deep blue skin and appear to have signs of gills on their necks and fin-like protrusions on their forearms and lower legs, though most of their body appears to be encased in armour that looks to be made of coral, obscuring their faces and other major features. They appear to be armed with tridents and nets, and seem as surprised to see the party as the party are to see them. They hold their tridents in a defensive position, as their attention appears to be drawn to the hogtied tiger. One of them calls out in a strange language, however Karra and Valdayz can understand them (in spoiler).
They appear to be speaking Aquan.
"Stop, thieves! Release the king's property and identify yourselves."
Startled by here ability to understand them, Kaala calls out to the Captain (in common),
"Hold, Captain! They seem to think we are stealing their king's property!"
Kaala tentatively calls back to the figures (in primordial),
"Apologies to you folk. We are not from these parts and did not mean any offense."

"Well well well, what do we have here."
Elirdain adjusts the log on his shoulders as he continues to talk.
"Fish folk who allegedly says they own this cat we recently captured. It seems things on this planet works in opposite. Doesn't cats eat fish? and how can they take care of a land animal underwater? Either way, I don't speak fish and from the way they hold their weapons at us, I could say there's something fishy happening here."

The tridents are not lowered. One steps forward, looking directly at Kaala. It speaks more words in the strange tongue.
Once again, in Aquan, a subdialect of Primordial. "Free His Highness' prized land-pet, small legged serpent. To step into His Highness' private garden is punishable by imprisonment, and poaching holds the death penalty."
Kaala runs back and hides behind the Captain. In a decidedly paniced voice she says (in common),
"They say release it now. Trespassing punishable by imprisonment. Poaching punishable by death!"

"My apologies, we are travelers from a distant land, and knew not whether this planet was populated with intelligent species. We were not going to kill this noble creature, merely study it then release it back into the wild. We shall release it immediately, and once again, we offer our humble apologies."

"Professor, could you tell them that this is all a big misunderstanding. Kaala said they imprison trespassers and we don't have the time to waste inside a confined room. We have places to go and see and I don't want this one to be the last planet we visit."
Elirdain grabs his handaxe and readies himself to throw it in case combat is inevitable with the fish people.

Vyserra didn't know the language they spoke, trying to get the gist of what they were saying through their body language and tone. An idea popped inside her head though. "I know we worked hard to capture it, but we should probably listen to them. Perhaps we can befriend these people native to this land and they would be willing to show us around? And we can collect specimens and samples that they allow us."

Meanwhile back at camp, Elyza has gathered some of the more common and Earthly (Evadily?) herbs and is now smoking them after rolling it into a piece of parchment.
Progress and Fera carefully move towards the tiger, now lowered to the ground. They cut the knots allowing the tiger to get onto its feet. It growls and begins to flee back into the forest. Progress then collects the pieces of rope back together to be mending later.
The leader of these fish folk gestures with their trident, speaking again in the Aquan tongue.
"There is a number from your group missing. We see by the tracks in the sand. Identify what you are and prove you are no threat to our kingdom."
In the meantime, Elyza lets out a relaxing blow of smoke, content with her collected samples of some of the local flora. There are some interesting plants that seem to be similar strands to Evadillian genus, but have varying initial traits most likely due to this world being heavily oceanic.
As she is contemplating this, there are heavy footfalls as she sees the green tiger beast rush right past where she was taking a break, barrelling into the undergrowth.
She sees this and ignores it for a second, her brain not wanting to register what she just saw. She lets out another puff of smoke and does a double-take.
"MY SPECIMEN! WHAT ARE THOSE BOZOS THINKING RELEASING IT BACK IN THE WILD?"
She stands up and looks in the direction the tiger came from.

The group begins to head back. However, the tiger attempts to break its bonds. (DC 17 to break ropes, disadvantage because it is restrained)

Elirdain uses Shocking Grasp again to prod the feline cat to teach it not attempt to break its bonds.
Does this count as Animal Handling or Intimidation?
