Lukian prepares to start slicing and dicing.

Ebonitus is ready to assist D.o.R.K. as needed, with a guiding bolt prepared for when the excitement starts.

Without any added input from the others, magically done or otherwise, D.O.R.K does a very mechanical about face once the riders gets to be about 15 to 20ft away, and starts marching back towards the boulder she'd disappeared behind earlier. "They are this way. Please follow." She said stiffly. "I would have brought them forward, but did not wish to disturb or cause a misunderstanding. The Light willing, this matter will solved swiftly and at the discretion of the appropriate party when ready." The living constructed added, emphasizing certain points along the way.

If its possible as well to lead the pair of riders closer to the group's hiding spot without giving them away, then she does so as well.

As D.O.R.K. turns to head towards the boulder one of the guards dismounts and follows him. The other stays mounted holding the reins of the other's horse.

Ilezenya grumbles. The guards were smart and capable. He whispers to the others in hiding, "I'm going to try and distract the others while you take care of these three..." He turns back towards where the other five guards remained, and using the drow magic coursing through his veins, he causes a glowing, vaguely humanoid form of Medium size to form in the tree line close to the guards. (Casting Dancing Lights, then using his bonus action to make it appear that the glowing humanoid is moving through the trees...)

Is there a way to sneak closer to the ones still on horseback, or did they stop before reaching the "cover"?

Once D.o.R.K. and the following (dismounted)rider are out of sight of the main group, making his way close enough to the mounted rider (60') Ebonitus casts hold person on the mounted rider. (Wis:15).

Meanwhile he indicates to the new boy that he should put the two near the dancing lights to sleep.

The Dusk Warden maintains concentration on his dancing lights spell, and casts the sleep spell he had been holding on to at the two riders who are going to investigate it (affecting 37 hp - see https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/26318-storm-kings-thunder-the-gods-respond?comment=3445)

Devin watches as his companions cast their spells. As the 2 further out guards get closer to where Ilezenya has drawn them Devin casts Silence centered in the roadway just past where the guard investigating the dancing lights are so now sound passes back towards the remaining 4 guards.

This is kinda what I had in mind 

As the party watches one of the guards investigating the dancing lights cast by Ilezenya nods off. In the way of horses the world over once the pressure to keep moving from its rider ceases the horse immediately lowers its head and begins to graze. The other guard turns and you can see his mouth move but hear no sound. 

(OOC Question would the guard know that since he can't hear himself yell at the other that he is in some sort of silence spell?) 

Another question exactly how far is D.O.R.K. leading the dismounted guard - see Whatwall's post #3468

(@DM: Just until they are out of sight of the mounted guard, or the group attack them. Whichever comes first, as the full details of the plan had never been discussed. So, up to you how far she would have to go to get such an obstruction. Which at this point, may or may not be off the map, considering how close to the edge we are. ._.;)

D.O.R.K. leads the dismounted guard around behind several rocks and Ebonitus tries (10) and successfully freezes the other guard in place. Immediately their two horses drop their heads to the ground and start grazing.

 I would assume so, yes.

 Unless Lukian decides to make a move just prior to her own, D.O.R.K stays true to the course in motion. Which for her entailed taking the man already the bend saying something along the lines of, "They should be over here. I would have brought them to you, but I wished to avoid disturbing the scene." And throughout it, she maintained the same robotic overtones. Yet after treading at least a good fifteen feet out of sight, she suddenly pauses and cocks her head to the side in confusion.

"Odd... now there's a foot trail. Can you see it?" She asked, motioning the man forward and gesturing roughly in the direction towards whatever footprints had been left behind earlier by herself and the rest once he's beside or infront of her. However, within the next moment -- before perhaps the rider could voice an opinion or call out -- the construct suddenly leaps upon him, trying to get him in a surprise rear naked choke to start knocking him out.

Make a grapple roll and we’ll see if you can start choking him

And in response - 16 "Oi what the hell are you doing" the guard yells out as he just manages to slip out of D.O.R.K.'s strangle hold before heading towards his compatriot as fast as he can (Dash - covering 30' due to the difficult terrain that the construct has led him through!)
