After making sure to give the rope plenty of slack (at least 45ft worth) and tying off part to her form, D.O.R.K sends sends the javelin flying across and buries it nicely. A few tentative tugs later to confirm that it is wedged in there well in good. "That should do it. Now. Who wishes to shimmy across first and further anchor the other side?"She asks the group at large. "I remain on this side until all that wish to cross have done so. Then follow."

Jaylen sighs. "Fortune favors the bold," she says. She takes her own rope and ties it around her waist. Handing the coils to Dork, she turns and takes a deep breath, reaching for the rope spanning the gulf. "Defy," she breathes, saying a prayer to the goddess.
If D.O.R.K could but roll her eyes, she would've after watching the others blanche at the obstacle. She settled for just shaking her head before starting to what looked like binding her original rope to her waist. At Jaylen's statement she is given pause, but accepts the coiled rope with a nod. After arranging things so that each rope was bound to an arm to some extent, she calls over Beedo and Vark to assist he in the endeavor.
"I have read that it is best to not look down... so don't do that."

"Defy," Jaylen breathes, saying a prayer to the goddess
As she swings her arms and legs up onto the rope – possibly showing a bit leg than normal and begins shimmying across. About halfway across the javelin starts to drag, but a quick prayer from Jaylen to her Goddess and the Javelin stops dragging and she is able to eventually make her way across.
Torunn runs up to D.O.R.K, "I am back by the way, not that you noticed I wasn't with you. What in the name of Gond is going on here?" he says turning to watch the act of acrobatics.
Returning to the solid? surface of the bridge, and stilled tied around the middle with the rope, Jaylen attempts to open and enter the gate of the keep. For good measure, she wields her shield. "Hello?" she asks, none too loudly.
"Incorrect. I noticed. Unfortunately, as I was occupied at the moment, I could not carry you. After considering a alternatives, I considered the area in which you had become once more lost in thought to be sufficiently cleared of hostiles... Also, you were always in sight to at least Vark here." She states without breaking eye contact on Jaylen as she crossed. As soon as she was safety across, D.O.R.K. manufactures a sigh.
"It seems Tymora truly watched over her... Alright Vark. You're up next. I need you to secure that Javelin."Vark eyes bug out while Beedo just smirked at him. "You heard the boss lady, tough guy. Get move'n." Beedo says as he started pushing a reluctant Vark forward. "Rope?"He asked of her, gesturing to the hand wrapped with Jaylen's lifeline. To which, D.O.R.K looks to the others, Meiva and Devin. "If either of you have any to spare, or a blessing to confer, it would be much appreciated." She states. Regardless of the answer, before Vark is sent over, D.O.R.K awkwardly traces a pattern against Vark's forehead. "Let not the ebb and flow of conflict -- be it external or internal -- discourage, but instead encourage greater Resistance."

By the time the part has arrived at the bridge and: 1) explored it 2) sent Vark back to get Blik and Flik and the two ten-foot ladders and then dismissed lashing them together to create a temporary bridge 3) D.O.R.K. has thrown a Javelin over the bridge with a rope attached and made it as secure as possible 4) Jaylen has hung crawled across (OOC: because of the 5' height difference it takes 5 minutes to climb across to the other side) 5) Vark has hung crawled across (OOC: one minute for somebody to tightrope walk across)
Torunn sighs as no one stands up. "Gond bless me for doing something this foolish. I was meant for indoors stuff." He mutters as he climbs the rope acroaa the brudge.
D.O.R.K. adjusts her stance as Torunn steps up, making sure she had a feet firmly planted on the bridge. "Have a little more faith, Brother."She says as he started out. Though only once he was most out of earshot does she add in a whisper, "Unlike me, you were meant for far more." She doesn't look to see if Beedo took note of words or not. Until it becomes clear either Meiva and Devin don't plan to cross, she remains patient. But she does broach the subject with the two at least before looking to Devin for Guidance before making an outright jump for it herself.

D.O.R.K looks to Devin. "That just leaves us now, Devin. But if you believe they will suffice, I shall at least send Vark along to guard them. Though before that-..." She looks down over to Blik, Flik, and Keelo. "Query: Do you wish to follow, Keelo? Additional Query: Or are you content to stand guard here until they return?"She asks curiously.

Devin manages to get almost all the way across the rope but as he starts to dismounts he manages to get his feet above his head. This means he can not control his dismount and he falls onto the edge of the bridge smashing the back of his head against the bridge taking 2 points of bludgeoning damage.

Jaylen smirks. "I'll be glad to pray for Tymora's blessing on anyone attempting to cross."
Guidance on anyone going.
Devin eyes the gap and the rope across it.
"I'm just not sure it's worth it. I don't think I want to risk my neck trying to cross. If this bridge was destroyed in the giant attack then there won't be any goblins up there."
Meiva steps forward, eyes the gap, then steps back again, face blanching slightly.

"M'lady" Devin says with a flourish and a bow, "I have magic to spare."
And he casts Guidance on Vark touching him gently on the shoulder.

She quietly asks Silvanus for guidance just the same, though, before attempting to cross the rope.
