Ebonitus arises from his long rest and gives thanks to the Earthmother - noting Harshnag's sacrifice - for their deliverance from the dragon in the temple. He looks around the surroundings to see if he can recognise where they are. Perception: 21 looking for landscape features that he might recognise or smoke from Ironslag.
Ebonitus says to Mullo. "Do you recognise where we are? We have been heading perhaps a little south of our target."

Devin slept soundly when he wasn't on watch. Again The Lady of Mysteries visited him in a dream.
She stepped close to him and raised him up with her hand. You seek guidance and aid as you follow your quest. You do well and move closer to your goals. I will grant you help in a way that sees to your need of knowledge, but also of companionship. Take this book, it will grant you ritual power to identify items you come across in your travels. Use it wisely. Also, Aslan has been a faithful companion to you and you have treated him well. I have given you a second ritual. Cast it and awaken within him the power of the celestial. He will be changed from a beast and he will forever be with you. You will be able to communicate with him and see what he sees.
Mystra then handed Devin a book, smiled at him and disappeared.
In the morning Devin found that he held a book tightly in his arms. Aslan lay curled on top of him purring, looking at him expectantly, as if he knew something was going to happen.
Opening the book Devin saw the words needed to cast Identify and also another. He immediately sat down and cast Find Familiar.
"Haetone and I could fly out to see what is around us. If this craft continues on its current course, we should be able to find you when we know something."
After a largely uneventful hour for all that morning (barring any DM surprises!), D.O.R.K finally comes out of her trance taking in her surroundings first, before then examining her body. To no eyes or optical receptors but her own, semi-transparent red symbols, shapes, sigils both divine and arcane, and multitude of numbers and letters floated before her vision with no discernible pattern. She steps back nearly overwhelmed at first, before remembering her last vision. A seeming unrelated 'reminder' in the moment. Yet as she spoke the words her posture became steady once more with newfound understanding.
"... Remember not everything is as it seems at first. Not even me."With that, her vision began to clear to a degree. But with conscious thought she could bring up the secondary display. Time, she knew, would be needed to fully understand jargon within it. Yet already patterns had begun to emerge, enlightening and spurring her into action. Soon her hands would be busy removing panels and modifying what she thought were but innocuous inner workings, only for some internal mechanism to come alive and further shift both the mechanical and wood fibers about in her arms for some grander purpose...
However, such distractions could only go on for so long before reaching a satisfying enough conclusion to pause for the time being. Finding a moment in which all were on the ship at the very least, D.O.R.K would call the party together for a meeting as the ship continued on a fully eastern course with Devin's earlier insistence.
"Before we arrive at our destination, which I feel I must point out, could likely be a several day trip, as the seer did not give more exacting information regarding that, do any of you know about Yakfolk? Their disposition? Their history? The design of their domiciles? Their connections to giant-kin?" She asked. "I have my presumptions, but I am not want to rely on that alone if we are to make our way inside a home of giants. Nevermind steps the--"She stops and looks at the rest of the crew to see if any were playing close attention. "--our unexpected guest last time might have taken, if they are too aware of what we know."

"Yakfolk? Never even heard of them." Devin answers D. "I seem to have thought I lived a very colorful life in Waterdeep. But now I have stepped into the greater world of Faerun and find that I have lived a very sheltered life. There is far more going on in this world than I could have ever imagined! There is so much I don't know that I didn't even know I didn't know."
Aslan, who had been somewhat typically catlike in his behaviors before, was no longer as aloof as he had been. Aslan now was more attentive and Devin found that the telepathic link between them opened a whole new world of communication to him. Devin didn't share the conversations he had with Aslan, but it opened a whole new world to him.
Ebonitus awakes in the morning refreshed and with some fresh knowledge bestowed upon him by the Earthmother, he feels refreshed and renewed, but still does not know exactly where they are. "D.o.R.K., he says, from your map, can you estimate how long it might take us to get to our destination?"

D.O.R.K looked almost taken aback by the request, before then look to the floorboard while absently tracing the grooves of the symbol etched into her forehead. "... Well... I do not have the exact coordinates, so much so what I've estimated to be the general location of it based on previous research, estimated migration patterns of various races, and other factors that I shan't bore you with going into depth at this moment. The same goes for several other places beyond the reach of what might call 'polite' society. So, please-..."She takes out her map and unfolds it before the party. Which had in addition to general information likely provided by whatever creator or press company had been involved in its creation, was also riddled in places with dwarvish script approximating names of other locations.
"Take it with a grain of salt when I say that perhaps with a good wind we 'might' see a location approximating expectations within the next seven to eight days if we continue eastward."She said. "However, I have yet to check on provisions to confirm if we would have enough for the journey. Additionally, I fear staying too close to the mountain range increases the likely hood of encountering airborne threats, as such species of larger size would prefer the more isolated and high altitudes terrains."

Devin then sat down on the deck of the ship and proceeded to cast the ritual spell Divination
"Oh great Lady of Magic, your servant seeks your aid. Please tell me, if we keep our current course of east will we find the place called Ironslag?"
What does Devin find out?
A picture suddenly appears in Devin's mind of two lines which start from the same point - one runs due east whereas the other diverges slightly and runs east of northeast.
Ebonitus responds to D.o.R.K., "I trust your judgement, I also understand that it is a best estimate. We should keep lookout for possible adversaries and continue to scan for signs of our destination as we proceed. We should check to ensure we have sufficient provisions. We also need to start planning for how we are going to collect the item we need."

Devin comes out of a short trance and advises the others what he was shown. "I would interpret it to mean that we must make a slightly more north-easterly heading to find what we seek. Would that be North East East perhaps? As for food, if my Goodberry supplied daily does not meet your needs I will prepare tomorrow a spell that will provide food and water of better sustenance. I can do so daily and meet our needs."
D.O.R.K reached up and looked as if she might again worry at her symbol on her forehead, only to stop short and awkwardly lowered her hand back to the map. "...Yes, uhm-..." She trailed off and appeared to start studying the map as Devin chimed in.
"Food and water would not be the only provisions to be concerned about, but... reconfirming that we have such options is a boon. My concern was more regarding equipment. But, we should be fine, so long as the ship is not significantly damaged enroute." She cups her chin. "With some assistance, I shall confirm the situation there. Now back to Ebonitus point, a frontal confrontation would best be avoided. But otherwise..." It's at this point she looks to Ilnezya and asks, "Is everything alright? You have been significantly quiet so far. If I interrupted you before, I do apologize. The same goes for you, Mullo."

Ilezenya, ever present at the helm when he isn't catching a quick nap, nods and says, "I'm here - just trying to keep this bucket in the air and heading in the general direction we decided upon earlier. I was hoping at this altitude we would see a town or village in these mountains from quite the distance..."
In response to Ilnezya, D.O.R.K bowed her head and pantomimed sighing. She had thought to have chosen the right time to have everyone's focus. Though in remembering the ship had gone astray under the care of the rest of the crew, she soon shook off the thought, then turned to address Mullo. "Truthfully? I had hoped, Shaman Mullo, for that very same wisdom. Though I understand as we all do that such guidance will come when such higher powers deem it so." She admits. "Still, it is unfortunate. Mid-morning Day 10 - First Ten-day - Marpenoth (southern edge of the Spine of the World)
Ilezenya ensures that the airship is tracking to the east northeast and the airship makes good time tracking along the southern edge of the Spine of the World as the winds have dropped away to nothing when {7} when {4} Ebonitus who has been on watch up in the crow's nest spots {3} griffins each with a human rider flying directly towards - from {7} dead ahead. He calls down to the deck warning the rest of the party. Mullo who is on deck resting Haetone - after having just come off watch - recognises {1} the riders as being from the Griffin tribe
What does Mullo know about the Griffins?
The Griffin tribe are extremely warlike and tend to be at war - nearly all the time - with everybody else!!!!
In response to Devin's question the spokesperson says "'fraid not, the western edge of the Moonwood is about as far east as I've been!"

Anything?
14 - +5 for nature, +2 for history or straight intelligence
While the Yakfolk are notoriously secretiitve, Mullo does know of several enclaves scattered throughout the Spiner of the World and their foothills.
