My apologies, no, they do not, I am still getting used to these tool tips and such. Regardless, the damage will remain the same since crossbows do 1d8 regardless.
This PBP now continues with the party entering the town of Orax, which lies upon the Plains of Sarthaal. You look about the town, the wall having been covered with ice and scorch marks. Burned out houses and streets lie before you, as you enter the town through the shell of what once was the town gate, you can see faint fire flickering. The wind howls as with sorrow, as a few fires seemingly still burn. You look up and see the clouds beginning to thicken under the ever-evening sky, hailing no-doubt that snow will soon come. You look forward and see a broken pole, a tattered banner upon it.
Those that wish, I would like to make a perception check.
In regards to other courses of action, what you wish to do?
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
As the party continues on through the town, 18, you notice nothing but the flapping noise of the tattered banner. The sky is slowly darkening as you can no longer see the sky.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We should look for a place to take shelter " says Frandal in low voice, almost with reverence as if he was speaking in a funeral and doesn't want to disturb the family of the dead. With the last rays of sun he looks to the banner and try to identify what it is.
Rhogash, you notice that the town is quiet, yet in the snow-ash mix that covers the streets has many indentation, made from recent activity. To determine where they go or who made them specifically, I need a Survival check.
Frandal, as you look at the banner, you recall that this is one of the towns that merchants spoke of when seeing your people in the Mid Rim, the banner is of that powerful merchant clan, the Vorun Merchant Clan, that now seems to have been obliterated. This seems to be where the Merchant clan operated out of.

Valen gathers a few broken tables and chairs at the hearth. With a prayer, flame falls from the chimney and ignites the wood. (Sacred flame :) )

Seeing that the others are moving indoors, Salleek dives down towards the entrance, pulling up just before slamming into the ground. He walks inside, furling up his wings, and going over to Rammen to reclaim his cloak. [OOC: I don't believe Rammen's player has returned (at least not yet), but am still doing this because it was Rammen who had held Salleek's cloak]

The elf looks for a scarred and nearly broken coat rack and manages to make it stable enough for the eagle to perch in. Then he sits near the fire and comment with the others.
"So, do you think this is a dragon's doing? I don't know. Something seems out of place. Why do you think a dragon would like to attack a village to this extent? It seems... pointless... "
At this point, the light wanes, and the fire grows to a low smoldering. You look about you, with a series of soot covered beds. The moon shines down through small cracks in the ceiling. The fire warms you, and Frandal's eagle seems to have fallen asleep.
I would like for you to set up watch between the four of you, telling me who goes in what order, and make a perception role for each individual watch.
