Description: The 10' wide passage leads into the southeast corner of this dug-out room. It is roughly 25' wide (east-west) and 30' deep (north-south). The ceiling is 15' high in the middle. There is another 5' wide passage on the west wall. There is dim light from that passage, but otherwise the room is dark. (Iskander has cast Light, so everyone can see.) The rest of the party will not be able to enter the room while Reverie and Brin are still blocking the entrance.
There are 6 Zombies in the room. Brin enters the room with Z1 to his west and Z2 to his north. Reverie enters to his east (and in melee range of Z2). The other 4 zombies are further back in the room, but well within walking distance.
The dashed square that is 5' away from the south and east walls is a Corpse Flower, hanging on the ceiling. (It has dug a deeper hole in its current location.) It is able to use its tentacles to attack (10' reach) anyone next to or underneath its current location, but is out of reach or normal weapons. You will need to use ranged attacks, a weapon with reach (10'), or an ability to fly/hover.
If you are next to the south or east walls, you can try to climb it to get within melee range (5') of the corpse flower. You will need to pass a DC 15 Athletics check. If you fail, you lose 10' of movement and are still on the ground, but still have your Action. If you succeed, you don't need to roll again, unless you move or something pushes you off the wall.
For those still in the entrance passage, you can stay there, but your sight lines will be limited, and you can't see the corpse flower from there. After you enter the room (where Brin and Reverie are currently standing), you don't have that hindrance.

For initiative order, this will be the groupings:
(1) Brin & Reverie (2) corpse flower, zombies 1, 2 (3) Iskander, Trimyrai, Anna (4) zombies 3, 4, 5, 6
The corpse flower makes a Readied attack at Brin, with 3 tentacles striking.
Attack1: 7 Damage: 7 (miss)
Attack2: 20 Damage: 6 (hit, critical)
Attack3: 14 Damage: 9 (miss)
The second tentacle hits Brin hard (17 bludgeoning damage). Brin needs to rolls a CON save vs. DC 14 or take 14 poison damage. (Brin's "Dwarven Resistance" gives him resistance which reduces it to 7 on a fail, and has advantage on the save roll. Brin also gets a +2 on the save due to Reverie's paladin aura.)
In addition, Reverie and Brin need to roll a CON save vs DC 14 (poison) due to the stench coming from the corpse flower and the zombies. On a fail, you are incapacitated this turn.

When the corpse flower hits Brin, it takes 15 cold damage from Armor of Agathys.
Brin grins as the corpse flower's tentacle crusts with ice, then he lifts a hand, sending a mote of flame into the room ahead. The flame expands into a massive explosion of flames. (Should hit everything in the chamber ahead. Trying to place it so it doesn't flash back into him and his companions though... fireball
DC 17 Dex save for half, or take 25 fire damage.
He will then step into the chamber himself, past the zombie to his West, and further in, letting it take an attack of opportunity if it wishes, but he wants to be far enough in the chamber to let those behind inside as well.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brin (and everyone else) looks a bit worried when, after launching fireball in a confined space, the ceiling rains dirt and a few pebbles. But the ceiling and walls are intact for now. The roar of fire and flash of light also fill the chamber and beyond.
The cave is just large enough to avoid hitting himself or Reverie, but small enough that all visible foes are engulfed. (Oh dear...)
DM rolls:
15 , 11 , 16 , 4 , 2 , 4 , 1
20 , 19 , 5 , 5 , 2
Three of the zombies (2, 3, 5) managed to avoid the worst of the fire. In particular, the one just north of Brin (Z2) was very agile (even for an adventurer), not what you'd expect from a regular zombie. The other 3 (1, 4, 6) are blown away into burning pieces.
Brin's ice & fire have done 40 damage. Although writhing in pain, it still has a lot of health. The same is true for Z2. The other zombies (Z3, Z5) are below half health.
Brin moves into the cave, to unclog the entrance and pin down the foes. He goes clockwise around Z2, and get into melee range of Z3 and Z5. Brin is now underneath the corpse flower hanging on the ceiling, and Z2 is to his south. (No attack of opportunity.)
Reverie is up. (OOC: Ellie appears to be busy offline. I'll wait a bit longer before considering a remote-control attack.)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: Will remote-control Reverie for this round.)
Reverie moves 5' north, and attack 3 times (including her bonus action) with her magic scimitar. Aim first at Z3, and after it goes down at Z2. The first hit on each zombie will include a 1st level Divine Smite. (Radiant damage will keep a zombie from coming back.)
Attack1: 28 Damage: 14 (hit Z3, use Divine Smite)
Attack2: 16 Damage: 9 (hit Z2, use Divine Smite)
Attack3: 11 Damage: 8 (hit Z2)
Divine Smite radiant damage on Z2: 19
Z3 is struck down, then some radiant damage from Smite to make sure it stays down. Z2 takes 28 damage from the two hits and the Smite, but it is still very active.
On closer inspection, the Corpse Flower has several humanoid bodies inside its body. As a bonus action, one of those bodies disappears. The CF regains 11 HP, and it drops bones and clothing fragments on top of Brin. It then makes 3 tentacle attacks at Reverie.
Attack1: 22 Damage: 10 (hit)
Attack2: 21 Damage: 8 (hit)
Attack3: 14 Damage: 10 (miss)
The skin of Z2 is pulsating. To your disgust, worms crawl all around what you thought was a zombie, but is actually a Spawn of Kyuss. (A creation of Orcus, the demon prince of the undead, that is animated by demonic worms.)
A worm is launched at Brin. He needs to roll a DEX save vs. DC 11 to avoid it.
Claw attack at Brin. Attack: 23 Damage: 8 (miss)
Claw attack at Reverie. Attack: 20 Damage: 8 (miss)
Reverie has to make 2 CON saves vs. DC 14 or take 14 poison from each fail. Rolls: 6 , 21 Between the two hits and the poison, Reverie has taken 26 damage this round.
Iskander, Trimyrai, Anna are up. (Brin and Reverie have moved north, so there is room to enter the cave, if you want. You don't have line-of-sight at the corpse flower on the ceiling unless you enter. Z2 is actually a Spawn of Kyuss. Z5 is damaged. All other zombies are destroyed.)

Ana moves forward until she can see the enemies and points at the two on the ground. From her pointing fingers bolts of radiant light streak toward them.
((Using her Star Map to cast guiding bolt without using a spell slot. Twinned Spell metamagic to target both Z2 and Z5.
Z2: Attack: 17 Damage: 13
Z5: Attack: 10 Damage: 19 ))
Edit: if Z2 is killed by Isk she will target the corpse flower instead
(OOC: I keep wondering if Ana is a cleric, druid, or sorcerer. I keep forgetting the new feats in TCoE.)
Isk, perhaps a bit disgusted by the demonic spawn zombie, uses Brin as a shield against any bodily spray. His attacks (38 damage) carve it up, but it is still standing.
Ana steps in to the chamber as launches magical rockets at the foes on the ground. (The twinned spell was difficult to aim at Z5, but regular zombies do not dodge well.) Both damaged foes explode into showers of sparks, like a fireworks display.
Trimyrai to go. (Only the corpse flower on the ceiling is still active. Although, Brin's DEX save will determine if there is a tiny demonic worm crawling on him.)

Brin gums up the other exit with a Web. Reverie readies her scimitar, if new foes get within striking distance.
The Corpse Flower will make 3 tentacle attacks on Iskander:
Attack1: 14 Damage: 11 (crit)
Attack2: 21 Damage: 7 (hit)
Attack3: 15 Damage: 12 (hit)
Iskander also has to roll 3 CON saves vs. DC 14 poison, one for each tentacle hit. For each fail, he takes 14 poison damage.
As a bonus action, it squeezes out another zombie. 1 The zombie lands next to... Reverie. She swings twice at it. The first strike damages it, but the second surprisingly fails to penetrate the skin. This zombie is not like the others. It is muscular and tall, like a goliath. It almost seems to radiate necrotic power. It's skin is tough, and it moves fast.
This new, greater zombie swings twice at Reverie.
Attack1: 9 Damage: 7 (miss)
Attack2: 21 Damage: 10 (hit)
Each hit will also do 7 necrotic damage. (Reverie took 15 damage total from the second attack.)
The stench of this newly excreted zombie is intense. Ana (rolled a 14 in post 4869) almost dry heaves, but is able to stay combat ready. Iskander and Trimyrai should roll a CON save vs. DC 14 (poison). If they fail, they are incapacitated this round from nausea. They do get a +2 on the save due to Reverie's paladin aura.
