Evan, you recall some ancient lore on some plants that are evil and love to harm others. They are small and have piercing attacks. They are called Twig Blights. You know that a twig blight is an awakened plant that resembles a woody shrub that can pull its roots free of the ground. Its branches twist together to form a humanoid-looking body with a head and limbs. They are vulnerable to fire and almost indistinguishable from real shrubs.

Evan toward Bree: "They said that some small evil trees are wandering nearby. At night mostly. Although it is not an accurate description, but I recognise them from some ancient lore. Twig blights. The origin of these is not ascertained yet, but they are indeed a corruption of nature. The situation may be more serious than I initially thought."

Evan toward the birds: "Here some food" He takes some food (some tasteful berries) from the backpack and hand it out to the birds. "Thank you for your help. Be safe"

"First we get the group together, then we should take the Old Road and find this Citadel. If the source of this evil is there, we must end it. Twig blights are vulnerable to fire. If we are able to produce fire, at least we have an advantage".
Bree frowned. "I have nothing to produce fire. Well, other than that Pelor rod, but I think that should be saved for when we find the missing adventurers." She stopped strumming her lute, and stood straight. "Maybe I should inquire at the General store. Care to join me?"
Bree nods and leads Evan to the General Store. One there, she inquires, "My dear lady, would you happen to have anything that can produce fire in great quantities?"
Bree and Evan make their way into the General Store, behind the counter is Kerowyn, your patron for this adventure. She greets you in the same way as she did Finny and Ivor. She says, "If you need something, just ask. I may have what you need in the back or on order."

Kerowyn hears what you say to your friends and drops down behind her counter and comes back up with two (2) glass flasks, "If you think this will help you find my children and bring them back to safety, please..." She hands over two (2) flasks of Alchemist's Fire. "I really can't give away any more product. I already have most of my savings tied into your fee. I hope this helps."
