Phineas just rolls her eyes at Siobhan , "now see here CinnabonI can safely say that both pirates and sailors love me... they love me a lot... if ya know what I mean... even when I tell them, "ye can have me booty but leave me chest alone!" The jester giggles and gives the Watchwomana seductive wink... "Like I ever insult anyone... perish the thought... rather I just suffer a tiny bit of diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of ideas but all in all, at the end of the night, I'm a right good if not overly friendly kinda girl!!!" Then suddenly Phineas out of the blue proceeds to break into song, "come on Siobhan you know this one I reckon.. sing it with me..."
Siobhan looks back to the Yawn Portal, wondering if it would be possible to leave Phineas back inside but soon thought better ofnit since she could easily se the jester would cause more trouble by herself. "You know if you are trying to seduce me perhaps it would work better if you perhaps stopped letting me know of your dalliances with others real or imaginary...." As for the song the half elf went quite other then to hum a few lines to placate Phineas.
Phineas merely looks at Siobhanslightly confused... "real...? imaginary...? You mean there's is a difference??? That's the first I ever heard tell of such a thing, what a crazy notion..." she looks about trying to fathom such a concept but quickly gives up saying at last.... "inconceivable!"Then the jester starts to skip alongside the group singing her twiddle tune as they continue on towards their stated destination...
Dolar is just walking behind the two, holding the hilt of his greataxe while its blade rests on his right shoulder. He's keeping a watchful eye on any trouble. Perception: 5
Roger, who has definitely been here this whole time, is not exactly thrilled to be headed to the dock ward, but... well, gold is gold, and ten gold pieces is a lot of gold pieces. With more to come, who's Roger to say no? Odds are, with brawlers like these, he'll spend all his time patching people up anyway, and that's nothing new. He walks with his head low, glancing about at any sound that stands out to him. The closer they get to the dock ward, the more alert he becomes.
Perception:20
Splitting his attention for the moment, Roger looks up at Dolar, his skepticism clear on his face. "I'll be honest with you, friend, I'm just here for the gold. Wouldn't be running around playing hero otherwise."
(Sorry for dropping off the earth for a minute! I will try to do less of that in the future.)
Dolar looks down at Roger and laughs. "No worries here, cleric. I being new here, I'm still trying to find my way, where I belong. You are my friend, and because of this, I pass no judgement. How long have you been in this grand city?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Siobhan will slowly become more alert the closer they get to the Dockward, her eyes move back and fourth. She makes sure to keep a look out for other members of the watch as well to see if she notices anyone she knows.
"All my life, I suppose." Roger's had his ventures outside the city, traveling with bandits and thieves, but Waterdeep has always been his home, such as it is. "Stick around Waterdeep long enough, you'll get good at passing judgement. Folk here are like that."
He feels bad for Dolar. The fellow's bright outlook will almost definitely be dampened by a little time in the city. Let him get double-crossed or swindled a few times and he'll be right down here with the rest of them - or Roger, at least.
"Hmm...I will take your word for it. I have yet to have any true experience in this city. So far...it's been quite fun! A bit strange, but I've enjoyed my time up to this point."
(OOC: I'm assuming we're at least half way to the SD?)

"All will become equal now" | "Cause we're going to shout it loud, even if our words seem meaningless. It's like we're carrying the weight of the world"
Siobhan will look behind her to see who else came with them since she had lost track of the younger and very arrogant half elf that had been with them in the bar. The watchwoman did not seem to be bothered one way or the other since Phineas was more then enough trouble to deal with on top of the other half elf.
Phineas notes Siobhanlooking about behind her and gives her bestie a wide grin and whines as she rubs her tummy, "I am feeling a bit peckish, you don't happen to have a turnip on you that I could eat, do you? I so enjoy a nice fresh tasty turnip from to time, to fill my belly and ease my nerves... I am very fragile you know," the jester remarks to Siobhan as her eyes follow a turnip seller pushing a small cart of turnips on the road past the group.
Siobhan shakes her head and reaches intonher packmfor enough money to give to Phineas for the turnip. "You better eat this and not be playing some kind of trick. We were paid to do something so we need to get it done." She warns as she puts the coins into her hand.
The turnip cart isn't much, just a portly halfling vendor on his way home for the night before the streets get too dangerous. He whistles a merry tune, though his skill in whistling is not all that great, and it sounds more like blowing on a flute without enough air. Still there's a melody to it.

Phineas smiles at the portly Halfling greeting him, "heya Harri how goes it tonight... how's the wife and kids... I will take that jumbo turnip right there, the creamy-white skinned one with the reddish-pink at the top if you please,"the jester politely orders as she drops the coins Siobhanhad given her in payment in the Halfling open palm. "You haven't by chance seen or heard anything about Floon the Loon, have you? My associates there and I are headed to the Skrewed Dragon to look for him so if you hear anything... send word to me there alright? The T.F.F. is very interested in that one so eyes peeled, got it? Thanks for the turnip, I have got such a craving don't you know."
Rather taken by the Halfling's tune after purchasing the turnip Phineas begins to whistle along and put some words to it... smiling at the Halfing as well as her new friends.
The halfling surprised to find a customer this late, and a little overwhelmed, tells her that it'll be 5 copper for that big ol' turnip, adding once he gets his bearings about him, "Floon the loon? Can't say I know anything about him, but uh, if you're headed down that way I'd be careful if I were you. Gang activity sure is rife these days, I tell ya." He'll take the payment and continue on his way.
The transition from the pleasant neighborhoods of the Castle Ward into the Dock Ward, the difference becomes apparent quickly enough. Street lamps have been shattered the candles stolen, leaving most streets dark, and the densely packed buildings leave little room for moonlight to break through. A cold sea breeze fills the air smelling of salt water and excrement.
As Snail street curves away from Fish Street, there's a flurry of activity and light as people with lanterns and light spells are gathered. The entrance to Shrimp Alley is blocked and roped off and several uniformed officers of the Watch move about their duties. Siobhan, you know well that this is a crime scene, and you can see several unmoving figures on the ground, as can Roger. Dolar you notice that the Watch have three people covered in blood in manacles and a dwarf with a notepad and a light spell on her pen as she scribbles away. A pair of sergeants questions a pair of gnomes, and a group of constables keeps the onlookers at bay.

Siobhan watches Phinead as she buys the turnip, keeping a close look as she speaks. She shakes her head and almost goes to pull the jester away when she tells the halfling of their task.
