Medicine Check on the Mountain Lion's Coat
The coat is in poor condition. It's got some kind of mite that have spread a skin disease on it. While not fatal, it is contagious and could hamper your ability to rest through the night. For someone who has a fur coat, like Abigail, it would be easier to catch. (Con Save DC 10. Yaalin w/advantage. Abigail w/Disadvantage)

You all pass through the goats. Between stealth, and knowing when to stop, to spend several minutes moving through the herd. Slow and carefully, until you're clear.
It's another good hour before you reach the outcrop. A level, flat strip of mountain that overlooks the rest of the Widowpeaks. Sim and Yaalin eventually find a outcropping that protects you all from the wind, and make camp for the night.
Sim's Foraging Roll:
Food: 5 x2 +1 Total: 11
Water: 1 x2 Total: 2
When you break for camp, the group is able to collect a decent bounty of food. Finding not only the bit of lion meat, but some small plants and other small game. Water was a bit tougher, as the majority of the water is frozen and thawing it out only provides enough to refill two people's waterskin for tomorrow. (Decide which 3 now have "empty waterskins.") In the night's sky, you see bright colors of the old world swirling around. Sometimes a few sparks of bright green and yellows seeming to fall down across the sky. It's brighter up here, especially compared to the slightly hazy and smoke filled skies in the Kingdoms.
While you all take turns at watch during the night; nothing of interest happens and you all are able to have a long rest. When the sun breaks over the mountain, you can clearly see the valley that Lady Orta was talking about. It should take you three days to get there. But that last day will be tricky, as it does look like a sheer climb. And since your lungs may not be adjusted, it could take longer getting up to such high altitudes.
Looking up at a different valley, you do notice some light reflecting off of the ice. Probably that tribe you heard about. It's along a different path. At least two days travel, with the second day possibly ending by their camp.
Back down, clouds have filled the bottom of the mountain. The village of Rest no longer visible below you.
What is it you do this morning, after eating some of the leftover food from the night before?
((You can spend a hour to try and scout some water ahead of time. There's no penalties right now for going without it, but if you don't find enough when making camp the next day. Someone could roll nature to figure anything out. Perception rolls. Or just break camp and head out. In addition to any RP elements between your characters during the night and early morning.))
((If you set out, I'll need new marching orders. FRONT, MIDDLE, BACK. In addition, I'll want to know if you're going FAST to get there quicker. Normal. Or slow, which you can be stealthy but takes double the time.))
((Also... everyone is now Level 2. For new HP, please roll. If you rolled under 1/2 your normal die, take the recommended. Example. Fighters roll 1d10. If you rolled a 3, boost it to a 6 If you rolled a 6,it stays a 6 If you rolled a 7, keep the 7))
Diadochi comes out the tent, stretches and says to possibly no one "you know I quite feel the sum of all the adversity we've experienced, espcially that goat ordeal, has really propelled me to a new caliber of excellence!"
He will stay in reaction range of Yaalin, who knows if there are other Lions about.

Mountain Lion and Level Up:
Abigail sneers at the mountain lion's pelt, "Never mind. I do not want to dignify the mangy thing with having the last laugh at my own coats expense. Thank you anyway."
New hit point roll: 4
Abigail awakens and performs her morning stretches. Perhaps it is the crisp mountain air, but she actually feels good about her situation on this accursed mountain. She does not really care which way the group wishes to go; although, if pressed, she will say:
"Well, the silver apple is not going anywhere, so we can slay the tribe leader after we gut ourselves a few goblins."
((Abigail will also try to keep to about the same place she was before in the marching line.))

Middle (Map Maker, Foreaging) - persons doing tasks other than guiding and looking for trouble. Can make a survival check to determine what they foraged during their trip
Rear (Guard, Lookout) - person actively looking for anything coming up from behind the group. Penalty to Perception for things coming from ahead.
*Rangers: Get a bonus in their Favorited Terrain, see ranger description for full notes. Their passive perception isn't hindered by Fast Speed, or being in the Front Rank. If in the Front Rank, can Forage & Guide the Group.
**The Widowpeaks are generally considered rough terrain (ignored by Ranger, so not loosing speed). There are sections that are considered climbing (losing some speed) so the "miles per day" is not a accurate reflection of moving across this mountain range.
Diadochi: Looking out in the morning air, you see the clear skies. A few clouds sit along your path, rolling through and into the valleys. There's no signs of any trouble in your immediate area. Off in the distance, you hear the calls of a flock of birds echoing along the mountains.
Emerging from her shell, Yaalin yawns, "I need tea..." she grumbles. As the group prepares to leave she encourages pacing ourselves to a normal travel pace. No sense straining when there is no rush. As the party heads out she will follow at the rear lost in her own thoughts. (( Passive perception only she is not actively looking for trouble.))
"I think the Goblin Tribe poses a larger immediate threat so I am more in favor of heading for them, and then dealing with the apple on the way back to Rest." she sighs "I will, however, defer to Sim's and Lafetha's judgment on this, I may be sturdy but they are more an experts here."
Lafetha wakes up and breathes in the mountain air, " it's great to finally be out of the wretched city, and back into my roots of the forest. Survival17 to check and see if I can recall what the weather will be like going up the mountain, and if I know anything about the creatures that lurk throughout the forest.
I'm going to take a look around and see if there are any plants and berries around that we might can take with us." Nature7
While Lafetha is foraging, she is also surveying the land for anything that could be off putting, or looks out of place Perception9
When we start traveling
Lafetha will be in the middle of the group so everyone is close by her just in case something attacks. She will be close enough to reach them all to cure them. Also, traveling at a normal speed.
Sim was up with the dawn watching the area around their camp. He chuckles to himself hearing each of the party members grumbling about sleeping on the ground. Knowing they shouldn't stay in one area too long or the local troubles could find them first, Sim gets everyone to pack up and tells them he thinks we should head toward the Goblin village first to remove a threat at our backs before we approach the temple.
The group stretches and chats over a short breakfast, but with such a clear day and good weather - the journey begins smoothly. Folks ration their water out to one another, not quite finding enough the night before but, they know it should be a easy day assuming the weather stays. Your first four hours are rather nice; a mild wind as you maneuver across the rocks on the way to the village. You see signs of mountain lions, wolves, goats, and small game. Stopping in those few moments to see the tracks, you know they were from hours ago. Still ever vigilant the group presses on.
You are all traveling between what seems to be a scar made in the mountain, a thin six foot wide path with cold stone dwarfing your sight of sky on either side. Abigail, you find a rope hidden behind some rocks as you pass by. Once you stop and look at it, it does become apparent to everyone else. It's a rope that's tied and anchored on the top and bottom, taught against the rock wall. It ends 15 feet up in the air, before another rope a few feet to the left of it begins, and heads up another 15 feet or so.. You'd have to navigate from one rope to the other, before climbing up further. At the top is, something. It could be a small ledge, or perhaps a cave. The rocks and angle you're looking at it from giving it a natural camouflage.
Even before the party decides to investigate or move on, Abigail is already trying her hand at climbing up the ropes.... Athletics11
((Curiosity and a challenge both being things she cannot move past without attempting. Plus, rope is effectively just really large string...))
Abigail: As you begin to climb the rope, you find it to be rather slick. And cold. The cold condensing and tiny daggers of ice forming on your knuckles and hands. ...
((5 Cold Damage. DC 10 for half damage and to not let go of the rope))
((If you do not let go of the rope, make a athletics roll to jump from one rope to the other, and finish the climb))
Diadochi, you see Abigail begin to fall. But instead of falling backwards like you were expecting, you see her dig in with her claws. Gaining extra leverage, combined with her tail wiggling around as she launches herself up the remaining 15 feet to the top.
Abigail, you pull yourself to the top. Looking around you find a small alcove that could fit two comfortably. There's heavy quilts and furs laying about. You find a sling and twenty stones for the sling. In one corner is a net and 6 javelins. Inside a barrel is what you think is 10 pounds of rations (aka, 10 rations). You also find 3 rams horns of filled with what smells like alcohol. Inside a clay carrying container, you find some kind of odd potion.
