Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
(I don't usually follow battles that Eldin isn't involved in but I was following this one. Honestly that bad dice flag that caused Eider to be charmed combined with Toren waking up and blinking to safety may turn the match around.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Unburied Treasure Round 5.5:
Grianne drags herself out of the moat, flopping down into the pit (Make a DC 10 Acrobatics check or take 3 bludgeoning, halved)
Her first attack completely misses the warlock, but the second lands solidly (Note: Being a large creature, Eider is also in your space so if you had your whelm ability it would hit him as well)
(Also note, for Eider: Since the coins are considered creatures that have their own turns, they are going to be considered to have your initiative and take their turn right after yours)
Erriviel's owl flies down to help him make an attack on Eider and then flies, staying 5 ft above the pit.
Erriviel casts green flame blade with his shillelagh'd quarterstaff, swinging at Eider.
Attack: 24 Damage: 16
If the attack hits, Grianne takes 13 fire damage as well.

I will cast Shield to block all but 1 attacks and let his arcane ward absorb the rest. (it has 8 hp total before the coins hit me)
I did not see the attack from the Drow. My action stays the same as i can do nothing to stop that attack but because it happened first my ward can only block 1 attack, so I have 1 Con save to make.)
(ooc: how do you reach I7 from the bottom of a 20 foot deep pit, climbing costs double movement so you would only be 15 feet up and 5 feet from the top... unable to see me and therefore target me with magic missile.)
(I thought it was 10 ft deep. Let me go deeply inhale and scream expletives all over god and creation.... That being the case I'll just let that 3 go towards Erreviel.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Unburied Treasure Round 6.5:
Grianne smashes Erriviel into a pulp, knocking the warlock unconscious at the bottom of the pit.
Eider's missiles fly towards Toren but are blocked by a magical shield (Eider can still see Toren even if he can't climb out of the pit, since his height makes up the 5 ft difference.
I'm also assuming that Toren will shield, since otherwise he loses the match)
As Toren raises a hand to produce a magical barrier, Eider flings a sharp scythe of magical energy his way, severing the shield and allowing his missiles to land. As the wizard falls unconscious, the treasure chest at the center of the arena opens to reveal a mimic, which promptly consumes both Eider and Grianne. As they slide into the mimic's gullet, they hear a voice whisper from the darkness, "The real treasure, of course, is real treasure"
Suddenly, their surroundings are lit up to reveal the Coliseum's treasure room. They see before themselves 48,800 gold coins, 20,000 of which are chocolate and grant 1 xp for eating them. Toren wakes up in his bedroom wearing a crappy pirate's costume and sees a multihued parrot in his window, which turns into 21,520 gold coins, 10,000 of which are chocolate and grant 1 xp for eating them.
Tier 1:
"Take any one item. They're well equipped." The room contains every item from Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spell scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters new level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency with any one of tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.
