Kirinar looks around the room for the source of the voice in his head, his eyes finally resting on the floating skull. He thinks back to the girl's voice, "Hello? Where are you?" He tries to be soothing - if this is indeed the spirit of a young girl he didn't want to scare her!
The voice replies, sounding like a terrified child. "I don't know where I am. Why can’t I see anything? Are you friends of my father? Is he looking for me?"

"Of course we will do everything we can to help you, Princess. You said that you can't see anything...can you sense anything? Sound, or temperature, or taste? Can you describe anything about where you are? What's the last thing you remember?" Kirinar asks carefully, looking at the floating skull as he asks the questions.
The voice begins to rise as fear rises. "I remember nothing, I can see nothing! I don't remember what has happened to me. Why has all this happened! What is going on?"
As the shrill voice reaches a high pitch swarms of tarantulas pour out of the small openings you heard the scuttling from.
The skull is suddenly sheathed in a green flame

Dr A holds up his right hand and the blue star tattooed on his palm blazes with light as he calls out in a firm voice "by the power of the Mistress of the Weave I command you to depart!" as he seeks to turn the Flameskull (DC 14 - Wis)

The voice shrieks in horror as the skull’s eye sockets flare with green flame. With a shattering crash, the crystal box explodes and the skull levitates into the air. It flies towards the concave opening with the skull mouth to the west and disappears out of sight.

Kirinar swings his magic yklwa at the swarms of spiders as they approach (10' range), making a sweeping attack at two swarms! "Ugghhh...why does it have to be spiders? Why not butterflies?!!?"

Timber generates a ball of magical energy and starts bouncing it in his palm chanting "ipsy wipsy spider climbed the water spout and along came the *****cat and wiped the spider OUT!" As he yells out the last word he flings the ball of energy Chaos Bolt at one of the swarms Attack: 26 Damage: 14

Skulls crusted with dried mud glower from niches cut into the walls of this tomb. A stone sarcophagus stands at the center of the chamber, its lid adorned with a coiled serpent carved in relief.
Kirinar kicks at the insect corpses on the ground, glad the swarms had dissipated. He was even more grateful that the flaming skull had been banished!
Now that quiet had returned, the fighter moves to examine the large sarcophagus. He will not touch it, but he looks at the coiled serpent carving for any indications of traps, secret levers or buttons, and then check the top and sides of the lid for similar indications of danger or a way to get inside.

Keyleth tries to make her once-over of the sarcophagus as nonchalant as possible. It's not that she doesn't have faith in Kirinar's powers of observation, just that... well... wouldn't want them to miss something important. But also, she doesn't want him to think she's butting in.
Kirinar wanted to call Keyleth over to double check his examination of the sarcophagus, but was afraid of seeming too bossy around her. So he smiled when he noticed her also looking at the tomb, and asked her, "So what do you think? Can we get into this without setting off some kind of awful, flesh-rotting trap?"
The stone sarcophagus isn’t locked and Kirinar is able to push aside the lid. Inside, a bundle of faded cloth holds the serpentine bones of a jaculi. A staff rests atop these remains.

“Who is your father, child?” Ransyl looks concerned.
"My father is the son of the queen of Omu, Napaka. I am her granddaughter. They must be very concerned. Help me please! "
OoC: We met Napaka (or a spectral form of her or something?) in the gardens that the aarakocra sent us to for the black lotus(?), right?

No that was an even older former queen.
