Omnia, the wolves snap and snarl at you in a very unfriendly way, but as soon as you unlock the first it bolts for the cave mouth and freedom; its fellow starts to whine, forgetting its anger in its eagerness to follow. Nate, as the second wolf leaves, he thanks you and warns you to be careful of the many little two-legs in the cave, as they are cruel and bite.
"Thank you everyone." says Nate to the party as they allow the wolfs to be let free.
Nate, still with his Speak with Animals spell activated, will thank the second wolf again and say "farewell and good luck."
Nate explains to the party that the Wolf again just said that there are a lot of "two-legs" in these caves and that they are mean.
"Ok I think we are all set here if anyone else doesn't want to do any more searching around. Shall we proceed? I think we best do it quietly so we can try and surprise some of these goblins. Let's take a look down the main path where we came and see what's next."
Nate will poke his head out of the cave we are currently in and just look (not move) down the main pathway with the stream (the one we came in) to see if he can see anything up ahead at all, even if it's just seeing if there are any other rooms close to this one. Nate then falls back in line back into the original order and awaits Brom's lead.
Nate, looking further down the tunnel, you don't see any more openings to the side. The tunnel continues up and then curves to the right, making it impossible to see very far. You listen; there's no sound of any creatures nearby. The light from Ophirinn's glowing mace is creating some unnerving shadows behind the stalactites and stalagmites, but you see no immediate threat. Looking back in the direction towards the cave mouth, you also don't see any sign of creatures approaching. It's all very quiet, now that the wolves have gone.
OOC - I'm thinking we should move as quietly as we can through the tunnel to see what's up through this curve. Nate waits in line to see what his friends do next.
The group moves slowly up the tunnel, using the mace to provide light and trying to keep as quiet as possible. You follow the curve of the tunnel round, and a short way afterwards it curves further round to the right, parting ways with the stream that seems to flow from a small hole in the wall.
Up ahead, you notice the flickering of light suggesting a fire of some kind. You get the sense that the tunnel emerges into a larger area. However, while you are still slowly creeping along and thirty feet from the firelight, two goblin figures step into the tunnel. Both are holding shortbows with arrows at the ready, pointed at Brom. They call out a word in common speech, which you all understand. Stop. Stop now. We will talk, not fight, yes? He turns to look over his shoulder, weapon still pointed at you, and calls out: Yeemik. The killers are here. We talk now, yes? You don't hear a response, and the goblin turns back to focus his attention on you, still taking no hostile action.
(Sadly, Idalie's natural one makes that a clear overall failure on the group stealth check)
Ophirinn is a little surprised to hear the goblin as to talk and not fight. "We are here for the two men, you attack on the road recently. Are they here? or even alive?" Ophirinn grills in a calm manor.
Ophirinn is looking to see if the goblin is being truthful.
Hmmph, replies the goblin. One here, one not. Talk to Yeemik. Yes? He turns and ask the question to someone behind him, and then turns back. Yes. Talk to Yeemik. He gestures with his bow that you are all to walk ahead and into their cave, but he and his fellow keep their bows trained on Brom.
Ophirinn, as far as you can tell, the goblin is being truthful.
Nate has a very bad feeling about this. He thinks it might be some type of trap, but looking over at Ophirinn he seems to have a calm relaxed demeanour and seems he has a plan, so Nate will simply follow Ophirinn’s lead to see if we indeed move forward as the goblins have commanded. He also sneaks his hands down and grips both of his daggers ready to make a quick action if need be.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brom just spent the whole exchange with an intense look on his face to try to intimidate the goblins aiming at him seeing if the reason they want to talk is because they're scared.

If everyone's on board with that, and there's no change to the marching order, then everyone please give me a Stealth check.

OOC: Hey Kryon, I can't figure out why Ophirinn has disadvantage with the Stealth check? Is it because of his lit up mace?
"Don't worry about it - either way we will destroy these goblins!" Nate says to Ophirinn in a poor attempt to rile up the Dragonborn.

It's because the armour he is wearing causes disadvantage on stealth checks, but also I believe the light would warrant disadvantage.
Cool - thanks!
Brom walked over to the wolf that was still chained and grabbed the lock to break it off and free the beast. Before joining the rest of the group.

Brom, the wolves have already been released, but you do manage to break the chain - it's quite an impressive feat or strength.
