(Due to life, Chai is unable to be posting (might be for a couple of weeks), for now, what we will do is I will control Krakkan in combat and you guys can tell Krakkan what to do out of combat and if I feel like he would be okay doing it (So not suicidal) he will do it)
Alf sees that the situation of goblins near the inn has not changed, looking further to the south, the southern farm (pumpkin farm) has two goblins running around with pumpkins on their heads, it looks like they are playing a game of tag.
"I appear to be in one piece, and my eyes in the sky tell me the situation with the goblins outside has not changed. Though at the southern, what appears to be a pumpkin farm, there are two goblins located there that seem to be running around with pumpkins on their heads, and even perhaps playing with each other?" Forge rubs his chin curiously. "Goblins are a weird bunch, but dangerous to the general population, so what is the plan?"
(OOC: it's weird for me to play not a goody two-shoes, or a power-mad jerk - Bert is really just looking to have some fun and doesn't really have moral compunctions about most things!)
"They're... playing with each other? I've never really had any problems with goblins before, but the ones we've met here have tried to attack us on sight, even if the one we just knocked out was more focused on grabbing food. Having the others playing about and potentially wanting to sneak up and stab us when the winds change makes me nervous. So I'm up for taking them out now so that we can get some sleep. Maybe we can also pull up the drawbridge."
Bert looks.... only a little jealous of the hug. Only for a moment.
If the group's ready to move out to the closest goblin, he'll try to sneak (20) and hide, and then attack with longbow once everyone else is ready: 26 Damage: 14 and sneak attack 1
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With his newfound energy, Hawk completely forgets about the fact that he is supposed to be keeping watch over the captured Goblin in the Inn. He follows Bert outside, excited to get back into the action!
Stealth: 24
He will also shoot at the Goblins from afar, having quickly discussed with Bert which one he will shoot at, Hawk aims for the other:
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Upon approaching, the goblins do not see you, they are too busy chasing pigs. One goblin is downed by Bert, the other is "missed" by Hawk, (You are hidden so have advantage, you might hit)
Goblin initiative: 11
Hawk, after rolling again to see if your first attack hits, take another attack (no advantage) for your turn. Everyone else who is joining the combat roll initiative as well (though combat might be over before then)
Since someone has to stay with the Goblin and Forge just told Kella that she was no longer alone he would remain with them, going back and forth between keeping an eye on the goblin and using Alf to keep watch over his companions.
Heading outside with the others, Zook lets out a sigh of sad remorse upon seeing Bert and Hawk kill the two goblins in the field so quickly.
“I’m not sure how I feel about killing goblins who appear to be playing and having fun... isn’t that one of the things we all strive for in life, to be able to enjoy ourselves, live life and have fun without the threat of being harassed or killed?”
”That said, I understand the need to protect ourselves, especially given the fact that we ourselves were attacked without warning by goblins as soon as we entered this village. I guess these are questions that do not have answers, at least not by me right now. It’s just sad that things have to play out this way, but what’s done is done. I’m just glad that neither of you were injured in the process.”
Looking around, one of the goblins has a pouch with a gold ring with some blood specks on it. The other one has a sack that as you open it, a live chicken jumps out and runs away from you. There is also 5cp in the sack. In the house, you see no goblins or life. But in the wreckage of the house, you find your first dead villager. A middle-aged human woman, crushed by a rock and falling debris.
After finding the body inside, he cries out to his companions outside: Hey guys! We have a body here!
Zook’s heart sinks when he hears Hawk shout this announcement. It’s one thing to see dead goblins, but another thing entirely to see a person who’s been struck down by the reckless forces of evil. He rushes inside the house and kneels down by the body of the woman. Fighting back tears, he straigtens her clothing so that it looks a little bit less disheveled.
“Poor woman, I wonder if she even saw it coming....”
“She could not even defend herself... so we must. For her, and for others like her. If this is happening in other places, then we must try to find out who’s behind this and do what we can to stop this wave of destruction from spreading.”
After paying his respects to the woman, Zook stands up and looks around inside of the farmhouse for any, clues, pets, small animals, or any other objects of interest.
Nothing catches your eye, no sign of anyone else having lived here apart from her, pets or people.
(With the exception of the watchtowers and then large building just to the south of you, you have almost checked out the entire north side of the village, I will say that the north-west tower was looked in when Bert went exploring and it is empty, the one just north of you now and the one on the halfway mark haven't been looked in yet. Not sure how thorough you guys want to be)
Mandaway gathered up the body and began walking with her to the graveyard, as he left he turned to Zook, " Was there anything in the house to indicate a name? I'm sure those guiding her will know it anyway...."
Once he arrived at the graveyard he looked about for a spare plot or even a bare bit of ground away from the gate and laid her down gently, he then looked about for a spade or shovel.....if the goliath was to hand he would ask him for assistance to dig.

No hug is too long for Hawk's comfort, in his clan and culture, everyone is very close to one another. So it might just look awkward to those around.

”What is our next move?”
Great shot Bert! We should thank the pigs, they helped us by distracting them!
Hawk will go grab both his arrows, only to find one has broken, but the other can still be reused. He then searches the Goblins.
Investigation: 5
He then peers inside the farm to see if there are any more Goblins or perhaps townsfolk around.

Mandaway had sat on the stoop, he had little taste for killing.
But as a body was mentioned he got up and headed over...someone had to and technically it was his job.

"Yeesh, a bloody ring." He looks at the body of the villager and tries to see if it likely came from that hand.
Bert tries to explore the remainder of the buildings around the town that he hasn't gotten to, with the exception of the keep.
