(Felt like I missed something here, is Alten Kal? If not who is it...)
”Looks like we found their camp.” Niche whispered to Kal, “Let’s report back.” She will try to get a peek into the cave for any more movement or light before heading the same way back to the group following them and relay the info.
Kal and Niche are in a tree line about 30 or so feet from the two goblins. The goblins are probably another 10 or 15 feet in front of the mouth of the cave. With that roll, you do not see anything else in the cave. The glare from the sun and the darkness of the cave create a lot of contrast.
Kill 'em! They've been preying on the innocent along this road, time for some retribution. If we want cover I can create a fog that will obscure the open area and we can get close, or you archers take them out from a distance and then we take our time checking the cave.
The group as a whole moves though up near the location of the goblins. (Do you use the fog cloud and gain advantage on stealth and disadvantage on attacks while looking though the fog? It can be moved away fog cloud)
Alten would want to stealth into the trees on the east side of the stream and coordinate the launch of the attack with a bird call or something like that (assuming the melee fighters are using fog coud in the open area to the west of the stream to get within a movement of the goblins)

As you approach nearer to the goblins you can see them talking and literally tearing into some food. It looks like it is some kind of meat but from the distance it is hard to make out. The fog cloud moves in (between the remainder of the party and goblins) and they don't seem to notice much of they happen to notice anything at all.

Kal moves into his position on the east side of the stream. When his compatriots have had time to get into their desired positions, he plans to give the pre-arranged attack signal - a hawk's cry followed by an owl's screetch.
Stealth: 17
Initiative: 23

We haven't heard from the others on how they want to do it - fog on the goblins or adjacent. I just set up the conditions to trigger the ambush (assuming it goes off)
We also need initiative from everybody since surprised means the PC or monster can't act on the first round of combat its initiative spot.

(Niche was that attack with advantage? I can't tell due to mobile)
(From the goblins perspective)
Crag and Snart are eating the semi-cooked remains of a goat. The for cloud starts to form and Snart says (in goblin) Look dere it's one of dem clouds dat falled from de sky. Crag looks up and back down, continuing to crunch on the femur and suck out the marrow. An arrow (Kals) embeds itself into the Goat.
(Will edit this as more information comes)
(How do the fog cloud crew approach?)(and I need attack rolls with advantage from them)
(stealth rolls would have advantage due to the fog. That advantage will cancel out your disadvantage. Please roll a flat roll or post the other roll from your 2 rolls (I can't seperate it on mobile, I'll have a computer later today (hopefully)))
Same for you Varax, advantage on attack, straight stealth roll)

If a perception check could be done here it is 10
if the cave is too far then just ignore this

You back track a hundred or so feet to the party

Sorry. Corrected the earlier post. Alten is my other PbP character and I'm playing both games simultaneously.

Fog make's it harder for 'm ta see us, but it also makes it harder for us ta see dem if we're fightin' if dey are in de fog.

But if you put the fog cloud short of the goblins, I would give advantage on the stealth check for anybody who approached thru the fog cloud.

I’ll copy Fog Cloud so you can see it. If you think it’s a viable plan I’m happy to cast it

{Jeez, what does DnDB dice roller have against my stealth roles?}
If a target is alive on my turn, bow shot (ignoring cover)
Attack: 23 Damage: 51 , 2nd d20 if adv/dis is applicable 22
Edit: no idea what the damage roller did. I don't think either hit, but 7 damage if the advantage dice hits.

(Sd, you gave the signal then I assume to the others? Did they approach in the fog cloud? Need niche attack rolls)

Was kind of waiting for a bit more discussion but yea happy with what Kal suggested, I’ll put my attacks and initiative just in case
Niche will sneak around the opposite side from Kal and attack. Stealth: 21
Niche attack with crossbow: 23 , damage if hit: 10

Branaghs initiative : 15
His plan was to move up and hit them with a hammer. Till the dead kinda gives the game away what with the ringing of a spectral bell.
Stealth for the approach (with disadvantage from the armour) : 19
if it’s needed melee attack : Attack: 18 Damage: 6
