Before exiting the training grounds, Morg will kneel and pray to his deities. This is the first time any has seen Morg display any religious acts. As he kneels in the center of the training grounds he opens a pouch pulled from his pack and tosses some seeds into the air quitely mouthing a prayer, he then reaches into his bag and sprinkles a fine dirt into the air followed by more silent prayers, he finally grunts a not so silent prayer, grabs a dagger from his bag and slices his palm, squeezing his fist allowing blood to squeeze out into the dirt. With his offerings completed, Morg stands and heads toward the entrance way and will wait for the rest of the team to arrive.

Lyle, fairly certain that Lily won't listen but determined to try and persuade against going anyway, says: "Oh, it's nothing that exciting. Just protecting a caravan, is all, I would hardly call that an adventure an all! I'm sure you'll have much more fun here, with your friends and with mother."
"Oh, I nearly forgot to tell you," Lyle rubs the back of his head, embarassed for having forgotten, "Last night, Kata had called me along with the other new recruits to give us a job. We're supposed to escort a caravan to Phandalin. We should be leaving soon." It was with considerable sadness in his voice when he spoke again: "I don't know when I'll be coming back."
She fusses with your collar again, and pulls you into a tight hug. “We’ll be here when you get back.” She finally says in a voice thick with unspoken emotion. And she doesn’t let you go until you pull away.

Charmine morning activities include a bath followed by a hearty meal. He whenever food is up for grabs he eats his full and then some seemingly like a glutton. Only because of his rough upbringing struggling to get food in his stomach.
Finishing his meal he meticulously checks his belongings seeing if anyone has stolen anything from his bag. After that he gets ready wearing a generic outfit of shirt and long pants then he readies up waiting near the front door wearing his backpack. Charmine has his own small pouch on his bag for Cors to be in when travelling.
Talen only grab a bit bread and cheese and put it in his pocket for "travel lunch". He meet up at the gate a bit early as he always do. Being late have almost never happened since his mid teen years. Wearing his armor and weapon ready for work.
(ooc it's national day here in norway so no more posts from me before late saturday EU time)
@Xun: as it’s still early when you arrive, you find the streets fairly empty and the warehouse running a skeleton guard (just enough to keep an eye on the stuff inside it). But while you wait for the rest of your group, you see the streets begin to come to life, becoming more and more busy. (Ooc: that’s fine, thanks for letting us know :) )
Kuna looks up from what looks like a tangled mess of metal wires as Feng enters her office and smiles, lifting up the jeweller’s goggles she was wearing. Even though she seems to be working on making something or fixing it, she’s still in a frilly dress. “Well hello again! I take it you were given a job? Give me a second.” And she pushes the mess over to one side of the desk she’s working at (it is covered in burn marks, scratches, and a few tiny slivers of some form of glass or crystal seem to be lodged into a section of it) and pulls out her inventory ledger, flicking through it.
”Okay... we’ve got a few healers’ kits at the moment, how many are you after? As for potions,”she pulls a bit of a face, “well, they’re a bit of a waste really aren’t they! All that time and effort and cost and for what? Oh,” she starts waving her arms around animatedly, ”Sure, they’re okay when the going gets tough but just how useful are they, really? I certainly don’t have the time for making them.” She remembers that you’re there and then looks thoughtful, “I do have a couple of things though, that might help you, of course, they’re in the... early stages of development, but if you’d be interested in trialling them, testing them for me, well,” She grins excitedly, “I’d be able to make them even better.”
Feng continues walking into the office smiling. Yes, thank Ilmater, we get to start earning our keep around here. I and I think some of the others were starting to feel guilty sitting around doing nothing while everyone else brought in coin.
This being his first time in this office, he was not prepared for what he saw. All the projects, all the damage, and debris from what he hoped were FAILED projects. At the mention of having some healer's kits he brightens up and starts nodding along with what she says, until she starts her tirade on potions and his face falls a little bit. And he kind of takes a step back as she continues on her tirade about potions, never having witnessed this side of her before and being completely unprepared for the state of the office, her vicious point of views, and the frilly dresses he always see her in. He cracks a smile as he sees her eyes brighten up again while talking of her devices and items and can't help but to be drawn into her excitement.
We could properly use 2 healer's kits if you can spare them. I guess I can see where you are coming from with the potions... If you can't make do with your natural abilities maybe you shouldn't be in this line of work right? He leans forward excitedly because while he has ability in crafting he has always found the works others can do with just their hands fascinating, and asks Now about those items you have crafted and would like us to test... what are they? How do we use them? Are any overly dangerous?
Kuna responds with an excited grin that almost has a sense of feralness, “Two healer’s kits and my experiment! Wait right here!” And she disappears for a moment into the actual storage room next door with an almost bouncing gait. For a moment you can hear rustling and a clatter, then she comes out with two rough wooden boxes, and a chest. She places the wooden boxes onto the desk carelessly, but set the chest down almost reverently. You can see that the two boxes are healer’s kits. She opens the chest and takes out two items, one appears to be some sort of glass or crystalline orb, the other is a much more well-made box. She starts with the box, opening it to show you it’s contents.
”Now this, is what I’m calling an advanced healing kit. One of these,”she waves at the standard ones dismissively, “Well it’ll patch someone up if they’re on death’s door. But one of mine, well, when applied to someone who’s wounded during a rest, it’ll speed up their recovery, and it isn’t all that expensive to make. It just a few more potent salves.” (OOC: it allows someone to regain the full amount available for a spent hit die during a short rest)
She passes it you to have a look, then picks up the orb, incredibly carefully, and her entire focus shifts to the orb and her voice drops to a whisper, “And this... I’m very proud of this. This little orb contains healing magic of its own. Just apply it to the injured party, say “fix” and it casts a spell akin to a low-level Cure Wounds. According to my tests, it can do it six times a day, and regains up to four uses at dawn, but only if it’s in light...” Her explanation trails of for a moment and a mild look of frustration passes over her face for a moment, “And it doesn’t work all the time, but I have managed to stop it from exploding every time the spell fails. But it’s not bad to say it’s only the third version.”

(Was more to make sure no-one got stuck with being a heal-bot and so more spell choices could be used :) the orb requires attunement and a DC10 medicine check, less than that and the spell fails but the charge is expended, on a nat one the orb breaks completely and, as Kuna said, light recharges it. I did try and balance it, but it was literally the first object I’ve ever homebrewed, lol. I think you should be able to find them to add them to your inventory through manage equipment, but if not let me know)
Kuna waves a hand at Feng, “Let me know how often they got used, and how useful they actually were. I know we didn't have anything for you so I was thinking you might be our mobile damage unit and should keep your dominant hand on the outside of the wagon so as to avoid the risk of setting the wagon and goods on fire as you patrol in case of things getting hairy. (OOC Quick question in regards to the crossbow, will you let me keep it cranked a ready to fire with no arrow in or has to be non cranked?)
(Having read up on this, literally just now, short answer is yes but the constant force exerted on the bow-bit might weaken it structurally [modern crossbows have a 4hour period that it is recommended to not go over without loosing an arrow] maybe I’ll introduce misfire rules for it, like on a nat 1 it breaks... will think over weekend)
