"I can cast a lock spell on whatever room we lock him in.." Gilbert would say looking to the others. "So long as the room doesn't have any windows or multiple exits... it would work pretty well." When Tibi mentions talking to the duchess, Gil would reply.. "Well... i could go and disguise myself again. Otherwise if you want I can stay here and continue to fortify the holding room for our new friend."
"Well, that went fairly well," Darvin says, walking with Gil. "Now, where do you suppose the Duke lives? Amrik was leading us that way, so we know the general direction..."
With your knowledge and length of time in the city and the fact that Thalamra Vanthampur sits on the Council of Four you know where in the Upper City her estate lies.
As you head out the door of your HQ a cloaked figure approaches, armor clanking with each step. One gloved hand rests on the hilt of a longsword. The other pulls back a cowl to reveal the face of a teenager with brown skin, red hair, and a haunting gaze.
"Greetings, I am Reya Mantlemorn. I was watching at the Black Gate and saw you exit the Upper City with Amrik Vanthampur. I was hoping that you could allow me to speak with him. I am investigating a rumor that Thavius Kreeg, the high overseer of Elturel, is in the city. I havn’t confirmed whether the rumor is true, but reports say that Kreeg was seen in the company of four guards employed by the Vanthampur family. The Vanthampur estate is located in the Upper City, beyond my reach, but I has learned that Amrik Vanthampur runs a business out of the Low Lantern. I was trying to head that way when I saw you leave the city with him. I hope to question him about the veracity of the rumor."
"Good day, Ms. Mantlemorn," Darvin says. "I'm afraid Amrik is occupied at the moment, but as it happens we are on our way to the Vanthampur estate ourselves to speak to the Duke. Perhaps you'd like to accompany us? When we return we would be more than happy to connect you with her son."
"I will join you if you will have me. The estate is my goal. Let us go, I wish to see what is going. Thank you for allowing me to come with you." She replies
You make your way to the Black Gate and use your Flaming Fist badges to gain entry into the Upper City again. You see that Mantlemorn appears nervous as you make your way through the gates.
As you move away from the gates she speaks,
"You are with the Flaming Fist, but you do not have their uniforms?" she asks.
Drabash steps forward, "My name is Drabash Grumobark, I was with the flaming fist until recently but left on good terms. If you say my name to the flaming fist, they will know of me."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Easy," Darvin says calmly, raising a palm with his fingers spread out. "Nobody here is looking to arrest you. We don't even know who you are. Our connection with the Fist is... purely a relationship of convenience. We're here to investigate the Vanthampur's --- that's all. Now what's this about Thavius Kreeg?"
OoC: Would we, or Darvin specifically, have heard of Kreeg, or know anything about him?
You know that Thavius Kreeg is the high overseer of Elturel, the holy city that is up river from Baldur's Gate. Elturel is the city that was dragged down into the Nine Hells according to all of the refugees that have flooded the Outer City of Baldur's Gate.
You might have suspected that the high overseer of Elturel would have disappeared along with the city he serves.
Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard left Baldur’s Gate with a company of Flaming Fist soldiers on a diplomatic mission to Elturel, accepting a formal invitation from Elturel’s High Overseer, Thavius Kreeg.
Not long after Ravengard arrived in Elturel, the city was dragged down into the Nine Hells — wiped off the map.
You make your way safely through the Upper City and approach the Vanthampur Villa.
Vanthampur Villa is a stately stone edifice with a detached stable house. Both buildings have sloped rooftops covered with red clay tiles. A 12-foot-high stone wall encloses the villa. Lanterns hanging along the wall’s interior are lit at dusk and extinguished at dawn to illuminate the yard and villa at night. The wall features three wooden gates — the main entrance and a coach gate to the south, and a postern gate to the north.

You are able to lock Amrik into a cellar room that has no windows.
Tibi wanders outside - can he see the ravens anywhere?

Once the prisoner is secure, Gilbert would head outside as well. "I am ready to depart when you all are... "
Drubash is still very to new to the team, so he would do whatever he is asked to do.
Tibi tries to keep an eye out for the ravens that appeared to be following them, but at some point on the way back to HQ he lost sight of them.
Gilbert starts walking away from headquarters towards the city gates.
"Well, that went fairly well," Darvin says, walking with Gil. "Now, where do you suppose the Duke lives? Amrik was leading us that way, so we know the general direction..."

Drabash steps forward, "My name is Drabash Grumobark, I was with the flaming fist until recently but left on good terms. If you say my name to the flaming fist, they will know of me."
Mantlemorn reaches down and grips the hilt of her sword.
"I've had a bit of trouble with the Fist since coming to the city. What are your intentions with me? To arrest me?"
She says defensively.
