Nirzeg, for his part, takes one look at the ensuing attack, and only through sheer force of will limits fast building giddiness to a bout of chuckles. "Da **** ya do, Mr. Pheonix? Tell them ya ****ed their mother last week, and how's she's holding up?" He asks, wiping a tear from his eyes. The jokes and chuckling come to a curt end, as a suddenly serious faced and once more on guard Nirzeg looks to the hill giant. "By the way, any of ya catch what the she giant just said, or what?"

The book appears to be mundane, although it gives off a faint aura of residual magic. It is possible that the book was used to perform some sort of spell or ritual a long time ago.
The tower isn’t very comfortable, but at least it’s a meager shelter from the elements. Moog continues to whine and moan, although a bit more quietly now. She eventually drifts off to sleep.
Thunder and lightning punctuate Moog’s loud snoring. The rain and wind pound the tower throughout the evening, and the inside sees its fair share of water due to hole in the second story, but at least the floor is dry—although a thick layer of ancient rubble is strewn about the floor, making it all the less comfortable a place to rest. Whoever left this tower obviously did so in a hurry, ages ago, without bothering to clean up after themselves.
// Please describe what you do during rest, and go ahead and hit that long rest button. //
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aside from the previously mentioned studied, Nirzeg decides to give it at least a few more days on avoiding reading the book. At least to see if the magic about it to fade any further from it. "Big D. Before you find your rest, you should take this--"He offers up twos vials; one containing a strange, dark liquid, and the other is the familiar red of a healing potion. "'nd keep a hold of them. Just in case. The darker one is for absolute emergencies though. So for the love of whatever greater being you worship, refrain from using that one. It heals too, mind'ju, but... let's say it has more kick to it."On the back of a yawn, he pats Derrikoth on the shoulder as he heads over to find a spot to rest.
Though now and then tempted to shoot Moog, imagining the noise to be the hum of an engine calms the Gith's nerves right into dreamland.
(Come morning, Swapping my Nightvision Goggles for the +1 Weapon Infusion to his longsword in the morning. And for once, he'll offer Derrikoth some of the resilience salve ahead of time in the morning.)

Astra and Nirzeg find it extremely difficult to rest among the layers of rubble on the ground, but manage to find corners without any rubble in the tight quarters of the tower floor.
The party awakes to the smell of smoke and spices as Rasa has gotten up a bit early, started a little campfire, and is cooking up some of the heartier veggies he has on him as part of his rations.
"Buenos dias, my friends. Please, help yourselves." He will attempt to address his friends out of earshot of the giant. "May I ask--are we seriously going to go out of our way to solve this marital dispute? We know nothing of the true circumstances here, no? Isn't it possible our giant friend is a bad actor herself? Seems like un poco distraction to me when we have pressing matters at our hands."
Moog gets up, jumps down from the second floor, and sends rubble flying in all directions. She immediately demands breakfast. "You give Moog food now. Then we go get Hruk."
After a fair amount of dodging, and no little growling to boot, Nirzeg turns back on Ah'brasar frowning. "To answer your question, Yes. Or at least, I would prefer we keep to our... agreements. The other option is of course to kill this one." He thumbs Moog's direction. "And wash our hand of all this. Personally, I would rather not add to the misguided reputation about the Zhentarim and deals. And besides, this chief, dumb as these fat ****s generally are, might let slip a thing or two about the state of things in the giant world. Things we can plot around going forward, and perhaps -- PERHAPS avoid future unnecessary tangles." Nirzeg comments on began fishing around his own rations.
If Moog starts appear grumpy or someone mentions food, he sighs and digs out all five days worth of more dried jerky oriented rations for Moog to have at.
