In giant: "Um, I am sorry my dear, but we need to ration this food out carefully. These berries are more potent than they seem."
Rasa will stay with the group but 40 feet in the air, scanning the horizon to make sure Moog isn't leading hem headfirst into danger.
PERCEPTION CHECK: 23
Moog seems to be heading across the Dessarin Valley towards the distant hills.
Moog will continue to lead you southwest, demanding food every hour or so. A single Goodberry will placate her for about an hour, but she gets angry if told that she can't have any more food.
After traveling for several hours, the hill giantess will say, "Moog tired. Nap now. You go find food for Moog."
In giant: "My dear, would you like another berry? Just let me know when you are feeling hungered, yes? I did not say you couldn't have more. Just not all at once, yes? let's make a deal--one berry every hour or so? That way we all stay happy and we can keep going!"
After traveling for many hours, Rasa will fly down to Moog and float along next to her, brandishing another Goodberry between his fingers. The in giant, "My dear, might I be so bold as to ask you a few question about where we are heading?"
Moog grunts
"Bueno, excellent." He tosses her a berry. "How far away is our destination, would you say? Will we may make it before sundown? And I assume we are heading to some sort of camp? How many of your kin will be there, would you say?"
Moog shrugs. “Uhh...lots. We going to Grudd Haug. That way...need to have some sleeps first, then we get there.”
She points downstream.
"And Grudd is your leader? Is she well liked by your people? Will they be looking to protect her at all costs?"
Moog gets frustrated. “Guh is chief. Grudd Haug is home, stupid puny bird.”
“Other giants...males...protect Guh. They smaller than us females. They not useful like us. Us females supposed to be getting food for Guh.”
Moog grunts and laughs. “Males stupid like puny bird.”
"Erm, yes. I am, how you say, quite puny. One more question." He tosses her another berry. "How many members of your tribe are there? As many as us? More? Much much more?"
Guh starts to count on her meaty fingers
She stops, then starts again
She looks at both hands, then looks frustrated
Rasa's eye begins to twitch
but he maintains a smile on his beak
"There LOTS!" She finally bellows at Rasa.
"Mmm. Bueno, gracias."
Rasa will fly back to his companions and fill them in, adding, in common, "Also, the big lady thinks I am puny and I am afraid she wants to eat me. If her tribemates are as, how you say, slow on the uptake as her, I am not sure how much information we will be getting. And it sounds like we will be mucho outnumbered, yes?"
"Then I think that we should leave and get back on the way to Everlund."
"You punies get me FOOD!" Yells Moog. "Hurry up."
"Yes yes of course my dear. While we do, can I ask: does Grudd Haug move? or is your tribe always in the same spot?"
"Grudd Haug on river. Big dam. We live there forever."
Rasa holds up another berry
The giantess gobbles down the berry, and holds out her hand for more.
"Like I said, my dear. Take it slow so we can make sure you stay fed the whole trip, yes?"
Moog stomps her foot and roars, "MORE!"
"Yes, of course." Rasa will give her his remaining berries (5 i think)
Moog takes them all down and promptly falls asleep on her rock.
Nirzeg sighs heavily and pinches the bridge of his nose. Every time he looks up after and try to find the words to speak, a flash of anger crosses his face, followed by him going back sighing and rubbing his forehead. "You know what... It's fine. Everything is fine. I didn't make any personal promises, so... it's fine. Just.... Fine." He says moreso to himself than anyone else, than takes a deep breathe. "Well, I'm sure one or most of you have some brilliant plan of slipping away or what-have-you, so let's be off while she rest than shall we? Preferably back the way we came and onwards, least we come across this Gruk or Goo or whatever the ****'s her name's home, and render all this bloody moot. Not that it probably won't matter anyways, but at least it can be said 'we tried' to play things smart."
Rasa whispers in commons: "Stay close by, my friends, and we can make sure she doesn't track us."
Rasa conjures a small, silent flame in his palm, from which a wealth of dark, odorless smoke begins to pour. It flows around him and his allies, clinging to them like shadows, muffling their sounds and making them harder to see.
"Come, ándale. Before the big one wakes up looking for a puny bird snack."
Rasa will then hang low off the back of the cart, just above the ground, doing his best to dust away any tracks left by the cart with his wings (knowing none of the creatures will leave any tracks but the vehicle may). He is making sure all are within 30 ft of him at all times.
Moog, the hill giantess, snores loudly as you make your escape. It isn’t far to the road, and though you’ve thrown off your travel schedule, you manage to find your way to a friendly inn by the wayside. You see no further signs of giants the next few days, and you encounter few travelers on the road—it seems like people would rather stay close to home than be out on the open road.
On the third day, you come across a herd of elk near the borders of the High Forest. One of them, a proud old creature, has antlers that appear to be solid gold. It lifts its head and watches as you pass.
Ah'brasar will quickly cast Speak with Animals followed by Animal Friendship on the elk with the golden antlers. The beast must succeed on a DC15 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by him for the spell's duration.
"Excuse me, beautiful, but you are quite the unique vision. Can we chat for a while?"
From his position in the driver seat of the wagon, Nirzeg shakes his head over the whole event, but resisted the temptation to keep on the move. "Don't take too long now Mr. Phoenix. We apparently got quite the schedule to keep." He calls over to Rasa. ".... ****. I bet we'd make big bucks bringing that one end." Nirzeg following chuckles quickly turn into a long, drawn out sigh. Astra and Genevieve would recognize the deep seated frown on his face as the same worn during the much of their journey to Triboar. Yet despite the sour mood, he doesn't rush Rasa any more than he already had.

"Well Golden Head you are truly a beautiful creature, one of Mielikki's maybe. Is there anything we can help you with? We are friends of nature and think you are quite remarkable."
“Yes, I am beautiful!” The elk stands proud. “I need for nothing at the moment, but I saw a troubling sight the other day—three humans slayed a hill giant, then got into a fight between themselves. One of the humans was killed by the other two, and they left his body there next to the hill giant.”
As Nirzeg comes to his own revelation, he began looking towards the forest beyond with poorly hidden look of dread on his face. "Say Mr. Phoenix! Have you learned anything of interest of yet, for I would really, REALLY would prefer we leave this area sooner than later." He calls out anxiously. "Or per-..."The rest catches in his throat. "Just... please wrap up soon. I'm certain that gaudy creature couldn't know something of that much interest."
