”I surmise Bazavur has teleported. Perhaps we should follow his example, though joining hands first that we may arrive at the same location may be wise,” suggests Tobin.

Bazavur, you see the world vanish and reappear around you. You are still touching the sundial, but you are no longer in the same clearing. Instead, this clearing only has three exits: one appears to lead to another clearing with a sundial, and the second looks like it leads towards the area just outside the maze's entrance. However the third exit, much larger than the others, leads directly to the tall stone tower that you have glimpsed before from afar and from above. It's about a hundred feet away, and you have a direct path to reach it.
You have only a few seconds to take in the view before... pop. The rest of the party appears beside you.
Aiwin just looks at Varan and smacks him on the back of the head “You were gonna leave me behind that easily.” He says just walking towards the tower with Bazavur scanning the area for any threats.
Varan rubs the back of his head and grins, "I was not! I would have sent you a message to either touch the sundial or not. It was strategic." He falls in step with Aiwin an looks up at the tower.

Aiwin and Varan approach the tower; the rest of the party follows a short way behind.
It looks as though there are windows, high up in the wall, too high for you to see unless you fly and probably too narrow for any of you to fit through - they are slits more than windows.
Down at ground level there is no sign of a door, even if you walk around the tower. What you do find is a circle carved into the stone ground at the foot of the tower, decorated with arcane symbols. On the tower wall next to the circle, you see a series of eight symbols, each glowing very faintly, arranged in two rows: a chair, an upside-down L, a rectangle, a flame, a star, a square, an hourglass and a right-angled triangle. Someone standing in the circle could easily touch one of the symbols, if they wished.
Soar and Bazavur have seen something similar before, and they would recognise it as a teleportation circle, though not exactly the same as what they saw in Waterdeep. Tobin can attempt an Arcana check if he wishes.
Tobin, your deep knowledge of all things magic tell you that this teleportation circle most likely connects to others and is short range; it wouldn't send you across a continent, for example.
As for the symbols, you suspect they are linked to the teleportation circle in some way, but as for the images themselves, you have no clue what they might refer to.
“From what I recall of the wizard of this tower, he specialized in time magic and feather magic, so my first thought it to chance touching the hourglass,” says Tobin. “Anyone else have other thoughts before I do so?”

Soar blinks and looks around after the party touches the sundial. "What are we looking at, here?"
Aiwin blinks as no one held a hand out to him and then just walks up and touches the sundial.

Tobin, the hourglass symbol - which had been glowing faintly - stops glowing for a second and you hear a noise:

Then it starts to glow again. Nothing else happens.
(I should mention that there is room on the circle for the whole party, should you wish to stand on it together).
Varan steps in the circle with Tobin and inspects the symbols looking to see if any show more wear than others.
