As the manticore turns to flee Rekuburk hits with a well thrown javelin. You can see it stick in its side and blood pour from its wound. It wobbles in its flight and is obviously now struggling to stay up in the air.
While the others look on, helpless to strike a creature so far away, they see a bolt fly past them and up into the sky. In a well placed parting shot from Chill the bolt hits and the manticore plummets to the ground dead!
Rekuberk is going to walk over and recover his javelin. He will then go about hacking the head off of the creature with his greatsword to claim a trophy.

Despite temptations Rhogar stays focused on the task at hand and goes for the ladder. "Do not panic, soft skin! I, Rhogar of the Nimbatuul Clan, am coming up." He yells up at the trapdoor if closed following a few knocks. Waiting only a moment more for a reply, the Bronze Scaled wonder tries to head up. If it feels it might take more elbow grease than a simple push, he tries again after whispering, "Come on, Rhogar. You have this now."
Soon as has a way up Rhogar practically leaps up to the next level, only to question everything silently while looking things over.
Rhogar climbs up to the second floor, throwing the trap door open. As he does he finds a middle aged woman near the window.
"Why thank you very much!" she exclaims as you come up. "That manitcore was about to break down my door when you good folks arrived. I see the beast is dead, good thing. Probably driven out of the mountains by that dragon. Won't be the worst thing to flee the mountains with a dragon moving in."
"Thank you Rhogar for the healing" says Krom, "So you can too call upon divine powers, that will be useful indeed." He then enters the windmill and shout to the midwife "The monster is dead. You are safe now."
Hearing Krom shouts, Rhogar catches himself mid-start to a reply, and toothily grins. "In case there were any doubts, it SEEMS they've already confirmed it."He chuckles. "But we should be going swiftly, yah? I doubt that beast will be the last we find roaming down from the mountains. In fact, that is we were sent here to escort you to town. The place is no fortress, but at least only the truly bold ones would dare attack it during these trying times, yah?"With that, he goes over and starts trying to gently guide her towards the trap door saying, "Come, come. The sooner we're off, you can put this terrible memory behind ya."

As the manticore slams into the dirt, Chip would hold the horn up to his mouth and play a short vicorty tune. "do do dooo do... do do... doooo doooo doooooo" (Final fantasy victory tune). The dragonborn would then wait outside, looking up into the building waiting for his companions to bring the woman outside. "Hurry up! Let's get going" He would shout towards the windmill.
Adabra looks at Rhogar with a confused look on her face when he says 'we should be moving swiftly' and a that face changes to defiance when he mentions leaving and being escorted back to town.
"While I very much appreciate the help with the manticore I have no intention of leaving. I need the mill to grind herbs and other ingredients for poultices and potions. And what if someone needs my help? There aren't any women in town that are near enough to having a baby any time soon. But I have other skills to offer and they will come here to find me. I'm not planning on going anywhere."
She gives you a good look,
"You folks aren't from around here are ya? Who sent you here to fetch me? Was it that coward the townmaster? Is he still hiding in his house refusing to come out? Not all of us country folk are scaredy cats like that fool! You tell him thanks but no thanks from me."
She begins rummaging in a chest in the room.
"Speaking of thanks, here take this. My way of thanking you good folks for helping me out."
She hands you a potion of healing.
"Now move along. I have work to do. You tell Harbin Wester I appreciate his concern but I'm stayin' put."
Rekuberk drags the head over and hears this. "Do you just want me to carry her back to town? I don't want to hear about it from the town of the only healer dies." He says before he turns to the woman. Besides if more of those things come around what are you going to do if you have no one to help fight."
"Carry me back to town? And then what, lock me in the stock's? You can't keep me in town and you can't make me go there either. I'll write you a note you can give Harbin that says i'm fine. I've lived out here this long by myself and I'm not going to stop now. That should keep him off my back."
You get the feeling that no matter what you say she isn't going to budge.
"No you will come to the town and tell him since that coward is refusing to open his door. If you leave after that then the choice is yours." Rekuberk says as he crosses his arms, resting his leg on the head of the manticore which he claimed as his trophy.

"The situation is changed now that there is a Dragon in this area, Phandlin needs you now more than ever. If you stay here alone you will be an easy prey for monsters like that Manticore that we just killed. Moving back to the village you will be able to help them more faster if they need healing." says Krom to Adabra.

"Madam, if it was a dragon instead of that monster out there today, we would not be having this conversation now. This windmill would be no more and we would have no one to rescue. I suggest that you come to town with us, for a short period of time. We are here to take care of this dragon business. Once that is taken care of, you are welcome to come back. We can even offer to bring you back, if you wish."

"No one is calling you a scaredy cat, Mr. Chill." Rhogar leans back to whisper, but without taking his eyes off the woman. Whatever point the Bronze Dragonborn might've had to add, Kazri beats him to the punch. So he just idly fiddling with the rope at his side, silently considering whether or not to use it before long.
The woman stamps her feet and crosses her arms, a scowl is on her face.
"This is ridiculous! You people pretend to be heroes but now you just want to force a woman out of her home because some coward hiding in his home is probably paying you to do it! You haven't said it was him, but I know it is."
She throws her arms in the air.
"Fine! There are 6 of you and the way this one" pointing at Rhogar, "is fingering that rope so you mean to take me whether I want to or not. It'll be a waste of my whole day waking to town just to walk back but it looks like I have no choice in the matter. Let's get going then, daylights wasting."
She grabs a small bag, throws it over her shoulder, and starts walking towards town. You have to quick jog just to keep up with her. She scowls the whole time and does not speak to you.
Rekuberk scratches his head nervously. "Perhaps it was not the best idea to ask if I should carry her. Although she is as stubborn as my mother.... minus her swinging around a large axe when she is annoyed."

"Madam Gwynn. We would like to apologize if you feel frustrated, but your safety is very important. Even the Townmaster feels that way, thus he has requested your safe delivery to the town. Our Cleric here is right, you would do much good in town if the dragon is to attack it." (Persuasion: 18 Krazi is trying to calm this lady down)

Chip would look suprised as the woman storms past in a huff towards town. "Hello! my name is Chi..p..." He would say as she walked past before turning and looking to the others. "What did you guys do to her? She doesn't seem very happy to have been saved.." He would mention as he puts away his horn and races to keep up with the woman.
