"Lights? I guess they are better than the wings. Do not get me wrong Rhogar, those wings suit you well, but I prefer to not grow them." replies Krom to Kazri.
As the group reaches the king's room, Krom will wait a few moments in case some of the other party members wish to speak and then say "Your Majesties, the shapeshifter has been taken care of. We found the monster disguised as a keg of beer."
"Aww... I wan't neat wings and glowing lights.." Chip would say as he follows his companions to the locked door. He would hang back a few extra steps admiring his fellow dragonborns wings before casting dancing lights and making the orbs move around himself the same way Krom's were.
A grinning Rhogar places a hand on Chip's shoulder. "Maybe someday you will, Chip! Though it would be a lengthy journey, perhaps I may bring you to my home, in fact. There you can speak to Brother Vixix himself, let him look into your heart, and perhaps, PERHAPS.... help you in your own awakening!" He puts a balled up fist to his own chest. "In the meantime, I will entreat with him when I can, and perhaps in time he will look favorably upon you, as he done so for my clan!" Rhogar adds, just prior to Krom's entreaty with the king.
Once he began so, the Bronze cannot help but practice hovering at least a few inches off the ground, as he had during the crossing of the complex, enjoying every moment he could with the wings.

Dabbledob bangs on the king's door yelling for the king
"It's me, Dabbledob. I have the band of strangers with me. They have killed a shape changer in the storage room. You were right, you aren't crazy. They say it was disguised as a keg of beer."
Eventually King Korboz slowly opens the door. Looking in the room the other king is still sitting in the same chair, in the she position.
"It's dead? They got it?" Korboz asks. Then looking at the group. "You got it? It's dead?" His look is hopeful yet still crazy and haggard.
"Yes, your Majesty we killed the shapeshifter, it was quite a battle if I may say. I am not good with words so I will leave to my friends to tell the story of it." says Krom to the King.
The dwarf will then murmurs a chant of Guidance to enhance the persuasion skills of the party.
(OOC I will cast Guidance on the first character that will attempt the persuasion roll, I guess it will be Chip, Kazri or Rhogar since they are the most persuasive of the group)

(OOC: sorry! Super busy weekend and then mondays are my busiest day too.)
Chip would make his way from the back of the group and as the others look to him, he would smile. "Why yes! The beast has been defeated. They all performed like warrior poets.... I must admit that I was so amazed by their display that I myself was left stunned. " He would say with a smile. "Why I never got the chance to lift a single claw before my companions here quickly brought the snarling beast to its knees. It was disguised as a simple keg of beer... lying in wait for its next victim... and if it were not for the Keen eye of my companion here... WHO KNOWS how many fellow gnomes it may have eaten before it was finally discovered."
You watch as the haggard, fearful face of the gnome changes countenance and suddenly brightens and looks hopeful again. "Hooray!" he yells as he flings the door open. He then moves to the chair that the other king had been sitting in. He pulls something out of his pocket and squirts it on the chair and a few moments later King Gnerkli gets out of the chair.
"Oh thank you strangers for your service to us." King Gnerkli says. "Let us get the gifts you have been promised."
He moves to the chest and opening it he brings out a soft hat, a small amulet, a wand and a 1-foot-long rod,. The hat is an antiquated, cone-shaped hat adorned with gold crescent moons and stars. The copper amulet contains tiny interlocking gears and the the wand appears very plain.
"The amulet is powered by magic from Mechanus, a plane of clockwork predictability. If you put an ear to the amulet can hear faint ticking and whirring noises coming from within. The wand creates a harmless burst of multicolored light and a crackling noise and the hat is a wizard's hat. And the pole! Check this out!" he holds the pole out and calls "Ki!" and the rod expands to a 10 foot long pole. "Ka!" he says and it collapses back to a 1 foot rod. "Very useful."
"Please take these with our thanks!" he says as he hands the items over.
Dabbledob steps forward. "Oh kings, while the stranger's have removed the threat of the shape changer there is some sort of demon flying around. It was seen in the corridors. You must still stay safe while we hunt this creature. It had 2 heads and a 20 foot wingspan and jaws big enough to eat a cow whole."
Dabbledob turns to you,
"Please help us hunt this creature as well. We have searched everywhere and cannot find it. We fear it may be another shape changer."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh Vixix..."Rhogar mumbles the moment after Dabbledop. "You do not have to worry about that... demon, of yours. It was dealt with as well before you found us the second time, so do not worry my gnome friends. Unfortunately, a creature of its nature doesn't leave a body when it leaves this plane of existence though. Might've made for an interesting trophy, if your ilk is into that sort of thing." Rhogar delivers, answering truthfully... in a fashion.
"But you have our thanks as well. We will be sure to put these items to good use in our fast approaching fight against that dragon plaguing the lands beyond this place." He adds, and would after take on any item the others would prefer not take responsibility for.
Dabbledob scrunches her face at the word 'ilk' but seems satisfied. "Whew, good thing. That creature was supposed to be enormous."
"How else can we aid you in the hunt for this dragon then? We have no magic that would slay such a beast, our joy is in trinkets and small things. But feel free to rest here tonight. We can replenish your supplies." King Korboz offers.
Rhogar "Hmms" for a few moments, and then nods. "Though I know this would be short notice to ask, if you can assign someone to create winter clothing large enough for at least some of our frames while we rest here, that would be appreciated. And any spare climbing gear that might support our weight would be double. Apart from that-..." The Bronze looks to the others, waiting to see if something more might be on the table.

Chip would stand with his mouth open starting at the wand before shaking his head as though snapping out of a trance. "we can always use tools or coin... do we need any crowbars or hammers or thieves tools or anything like that?" The dragonborn would ask as his eyes look towards the wand once more.
"I have a crowbar. But warmer clothing and maybe climbing gear would be best for me." Chill says as he takes the pole of collapsing and sets to opening and closing it over and over. He seems completely enthralled by the item to the point of ignoring any other conversation.
Kazri is relieved that they were able to help the gnomes. She thinks that soon they will be facing the reason that this group is here for. She tries to appreciate the calm before the storm.
