"I will speak with my friend and discuss taking care of the orcs... we cannot have them threatening you and your people or the townsfolk of Phandalin" Chip would say with a smile. "But I cannot help but worry for the miners, they are now open to attack by the orcs since you have taken over there mine. Can you please speak with the overseer? I am sure we can make an come to an arrangement.." The dragonborn would say before leaning in and trying to kiss the wererat.

He would then give her a small smile and move to kiss her on the hand once more as he leads her back to Mog. Once there he would take back the horn and place it in his pack. "It was very nice to meet you both. I will talk to my friends and discuss our next course of action." The brass scaled dragonborn would say as he shakes Mogs hand and then gives Chirrax a firm hug. "I'll get started on my next song right away" he would say with a wink before turning to talk with the others. (Assuming the wererats head back into the mine)
once the wererats have returned to the mine, Chip would turn and look to his companions. "OK, so they definitely forced the miners from the mine..." Chip would say looking to the others. "Chirrax is going to talk with the overseer and discuss the possibility of maybe working with the miners. I said that since we cannot allow the orcs to threaten our town, that we would remove the orcs from their shrine once we finish our task.. then that way we keep the town safe and if the wererats fail to work out a truce with the miners.. we can send them back to their shrine." Chip would say with a smile.
"Good job Mr. Tune-Tail. That gives us more reasons to clear the shrine of the Orcs. We must hurry now to the Ranch."

After having requested to sit back on the next leg of the trip, Rhogar goes from lightly dozing in the back in the wagon to wearily regarding Chip whenever he does deliver the news. By the end he sighs tiredly and throws an arm over his eyes. "If they've really run off, there weren't much we could do about it anyhow. With any luck, they'll be back in town." He lets out a large yawn. "Somebody wake me when we reach the next destination."

"Interesting information Chip, hopefully as Rhogar says they have already reached Phandalin. The wererats lied to us about the miners, but they told the truth about the orcs. A band or several bands of Orcs maybe fleeing from the Dragon worry me more than those wererats, so let's travel as fast as possible.Lass, hop in the cart too." says Krom as Chip finishes to tell what the wererats told him. "Rest for a while Rhogar, I will drive the cart". As Karzi (hopefully) joins the rest of the group on the cart, Krom will drive it at a fast pace toward the ranch. "I'm not sure if we can reach the ranch in one day of travel. Anyway it is better, I think if we make camp not too close to the ranch, just in case."
"If I must. I will ride next to you Master Krom. So that I am able to have my eyes on the road, and on the skies too." (How long does it take to reach the ranch?)

You all climb up into the wagon and head in a northwesterly direction, skirting the edges of the foothills. By evening time you make your way back to the Triboar Trail and make camp for the night. The following day you head east along the trail. To the north can be seen the edge of the Neverwinter Wood, to the south foothills rise into the jagged peaks of the Sword Mountains.
It's a long day of travel along the Triboar Trail and you see no one else as you make your way to the east. Eventually you begin to see the ruins of a town and figure that this must be Conyberry. The Triboar Trail runs right through this abandoned town, which was sacked by barbarians years ago and now lies in ruins. A dirt road extending south of the town leads to a supposedly abandoned shrine dedicated to Savras. The trail continues east and the Butterskull Ranch is about 5 miles to the east of Conyberry.

Rhogar awakens with a drawn out yawn, and rubbing his face. "Good... Good. Sooner we can stop the better. Oh. And I do NOT recommend sleeping in these things. Got such a wicked crick in my back now." He grouses and groans, but eventually makes ready by grabbing his ivory walking stick, and looking out past the front for any signs of roaming Orcs or misplaced ranchers ahead of time.
The abandoned town of Conyberry is eerily silent except for the whistling of the wind as it blows through the settlement’s burned and crumbled-down structures. As you make your way through or around the ruins, you spot three unsaddled riding horses grazing near an old well.
Krom sees that the horses are branded with the letters BAK.
You recall the ranch owner is Alfonse Kalazorn and surmise these may be his horses.
