Kazri approaches the cow and she finds it docile and friendly towards her. She is able to easily lead it back to the wagon and ties it up along with the horses.
You continue to make your way towards the ranch and you see the farmland and ranch buildings come into view.
Butterskull Ranch occupies a large plot of land on the north side of the Triboar Trail, nestled between two hills. Beyond a ramshackle wooden fence stand corn fields, an apple orchard, gardens, and pasture land. A path breaks off from the trail to lead to a two-story farmhouse next to a pond. West of the farmhouse are the charred remains of a barn and smithy that have been burned to the ground.
(Note, the local area map should be 1 square = 50 feet)
As they get closer to the ranch, Kazri stands up on the wagon, and check for signs of the Orc invaders. (Perception: 10)

If nothing of note happens and the group agrees, Krom will move the wagon toward the pasture field checking for signs of Orcs( Perception6Guidance3) and after tieing the horses to the field's fences will step down from the wagon. "Let's start looking at that barn. Be on your guard." while saying that Krom will ready his shield and warhammer.

Chip would stretch and make his way out of the wagon, scratching his lower back before petting the cow gently on the head. pulling out his lute and holding it in both hands, he would strum a few soft notes (Baridic inspiration) to help his companions focus as he also looked for additional threats. (Perception 7).
Rhogar clicks his tongue and shakes his head. "Well that was AWFULLY rude of them to burn a place down."He said after having jumped down after Krom. Remembering Kazri's warning last however, one Rhogar sighs heavily, releasing a blue mist. It seconds it swirls, congeals, and appears to solidify into a copy of the Bronze Scaled Dragonborn. "Huh.... huh... that's... new."He looks the Image several times over. "Can you-...." The rest dies in his throat, as with a smile, the Image races ahead of the others to the barn to spring any visual traps at least.

As you make your way across the fields you see that pigs harmlessly wander the fields, gardens, and orchard. Between the farmhouse and the gutted barn lie the scattered corpses of two orcs and five humans swarming with flies.
The barn is burned to the ground and nothing remains.
Chip would lower his head upon finding the dead bodies. "Well.. I hope that we are not too late.." The brass scaled dragonborn would say as he holds his lute without playing a note.

"Let's hope indeed that we are not too late Mr. Tune-Tail." Kazri says to Chip. "We need to make sure there are no enemies around before we should proceed." From the burnt down barn, Kazri looks around to see if there is any Orcs around. (Perception: 16)

Rhogar will continue to send his image a ways ahead of the party, pantomiming looking for any danger. As it does so, the original potentially breaks away from the others to study the bodies starting with the humans, confirming things to at least have been a genuine orc attack, if nothing else. "For some we always will be, my friend Chip. But NOT all. Not if we can help it." He said in passing.

You sweep the area looking for anything that let's you know what happened here.
The bodies of the dead orcs have arrow wounds and slash marks from swords. The dead humans look like they were likely ranch hands and have wounds that look like they were caused by axes. One has a broken javelin shaft stuck in him.
Clearly the people were killed by orcs and the 2 orcs were also killed in the melee.
The barn and smithy reveal nothing. They appear to have been simply torched and have burned to the ground.
Looking towards the farmhouse you see it is a two-story log building with a pitched, shingled roof and a stone chimney. Its wooden doors are set with iron handles and hinges. Its windows are fitted with wooden shutters that can be bolted shut from inside. All the shutters are closed.
The front door to the farmhouse is on the south side, while there looks to be a small deck on the north side.

Chill follows the others as they search the yards. He keeps his crossbow in hand as they move around. When Kazri and Krom call to the house he stays about 40 feet behind them in case of trouble.
Chip would walk right up to the door and stand next to Kazri while playing a gentle tune on his lute. "Please open up, the orcs are gone and we are here to help." He would say as his soft tune plays in the background.
While the real Rhogar stands near Chill, casually tossing a few enchanted pebbles up in the air at his side, the silent duplicate stands beside Chip, trying and probably failing to not look intimidating in the heat of the moment. Neither seem otherwise overtly worried at the moment.

As you stand outside the farmhouse calling to see if anyone is there Kazri senses nothing with her divine sense.
Krom it's just getting restless and ready to walk up and try the door thinking no one responded when the door bangs open. A huge orc wearing plate mail stands in the doorway.
"Orcs gone eh? That's good! No more pesky orcs! Now you go also!" It says in the common tongue.
It hefts a large greataxe and steps off the porch towards you. You see other orcs behind this one coming out of the house.
