Chip would hold it up and look to the others with a grin. "Do ya think it brings out the color in my scales?" he would ask with a wink and a chuckle before putting it into his bag. "Welp.. I don't think there is anyone hiding up here... " Chip would say peaking into the wardrobe and under the beds. "Maybe we need to look around more downstairs..." He would say rubbing his chin. Once downstairs, he would begin looking for any secret doors hidden in the floor... stomping his foot down hard as he listens to see if he can hear anything hollow or rattle as though it could be a hatch beneath his feet.
You make your way back downstairs. Finding a back door you look outside and realize that the entrance to the cellar is off the back of the house on the outside. Wooden doors set against the north side of the farmhouse cover stone stairs leading down to the cellar.
The cellar has a dirt floor, walls of mortared stone, and an eight-foot-high plank ceiling braced by wooden pillars. Tied to a chair is a large figure with a burlap sack pulled over his head. Shelves along the walls are lined with skulls made of butter and protected by a thin coating of wax.

Krom will walk carefully toward the tied figure while checking the cellar (Perception22 ). "Hello? Are you alright?" Insight14.
Krom will wait for a reaction from the figure and then he will tell to his companions "Chip, Chill or Rekuberk, since you are taller than me, would you mind to remove the sack from this poor fellow so that I may check his status and provide some healing?"
Chip would nod and move to remove the sack. "We are here to help... don't bite me alright?" The brass scaled dragonborn would say as he removes the sack.
"My name is Alfonse Kalazorn, Big Al to my friends. This is my ranch. What happened to the orcs? Are they dead? They tied me up after beating me, I'm hurting pretty bad, but I'll live. I fear they have killed my workers and destroyed my ranch."
"All but one of the orcs is dead but I can not say if he will be among the living for much longer if he is not useful." Rekuberk says as he moves to free the man from any bindings left on him.
"Thanks. I've been down here a few days. Would you have any water or food?"
A look of sadness comes across his face.
"My ranch has been ruined and my prized cow has probably been eaten by those brutes. There was one especially big ugly one in the lot. If my cow is lost my ranch is doomed. If you are who is responsible for killing the orcs the I ask you find my cow. If you do I have a chain mail shirt I can give you as a reward. "
"Well... actually..... I think we have your cow..." Chip would say with a smile. "We found one wondering with a bell around its neck when we arrived.... I Also found your chain mail armor.." Chip would say as he opens his bag and shows Al the contents. "I found it when checking to see if there were any survivors hiding inside of your wardrobe.
"Sure! Follow me! We will bring you to the cow..." Chip would say as he gives the man a pat on the back. As they head up the stairs he would play a quick tune, casting Healing Word on the man.
Chill helps lead the man up out of the cellar and around to the front of the house where the others are..
"We found your cow a few miles from here. We also found 3 of your horses in Conyberry and have brought those with us. The immediate orc threat has been taken care of, but I'm not sure its safe for you to stay here." he tells Big Al. "We were sent from Phandalin to check on you when word of the attack on your ranch reached the village."
Kazri sees the human, and rushes to help. She touches his wounds and cast Lay on Hands to heal him to full health. "Ease there sir. You are safe now."

"I agree with Chill, those orcs may be dead now, but the area is not completely safe. With the Dragon roaming it may be better if you move to Phandalin, at least for a while." says to Big Al.
"What do we indend to do with the last of the orcs? Our quest was to find Alfonse, I doubt that we can get information about the Dragon's whereabouts from that orc. Still it may be worth to check if he knows something more." says Krom to the group.

"Let me talk to the orc" Chip would say with a nod before prodding the orc once more with his lute. "Hey! Wake up... " He would growl. "I think we got off on the wrong foot friend... now.. the way I look at it... you are in a lot of trouble... but if you help us, maybe we could let you go." He would say still holding the blade of the lute near the throat of the orc. "I mean.. it is obvious that you are the smallest and weakest of the orcs we killed so it is likley you didn't really have any hand in the killings of those here on the farm... you probably just followed along and maybe broke a couple of the dishes inside... so that being said... If you can tell us WHY you chose to attack this home... and WHERE you came from and the location of the dragon I assume you are running from... then perhaps *I* would be willing to let you go to run free and live a peaceful life far from here..." The dragonborn would say with a smile. "Or... I can bury this blade into your throat and write a song about the corwardly baby-faced orc that I killed while he peed his pants... I will sing the song everywhere I go.. and everyone across the land will know of your corwardice and how you died crying for your mother" He would say with a calm shrug.

The orc, who has now come to again, glares at Chip as Chip tries to sweet talk him.
"Dragon drove us out of the mountains. It sleeps near big peak. We found a new home. I spit on your mercy!"
It growls at you in a stunted common.
As he says this a look of fear crosses his face and you feel pretty confident that you have really scared this orc into submission when you see a dark shadow cross over you.
As you look up and see what flies above you the orc screams "Dragon! Let me go!"
A white dragon flies about 100 feet above the ranch and looks to be banking around to make another pass!

"Get the cow inside!" Chip would shout to Al after Kazri instructs him to get in doors. The dragonborn would then move around to the side of the house, keeping an eye on the dragon but putting some distance between him and his companions and providing him some cover in case of attack. Chip would then poke his head around the corner and watch the dragon as it approaches.
Rekuberk hearing the yelling will go see what is going on, switching his maul out for his sword as soon as he has an idea what is going on. "Shall we go make a name for ourselves?"

"You have my cow! You can keep the armor if you have my cow. Help me upstairs, is she alright? Where did you find her?"
The man is so excited about the cow he completely ignores or doesn't care that you dug the armor out of a hidden compartment in his wardrobe.
