Marlo scowls at his botched throw, he pulls out his scimitar. "Very well, time for a strategic change, I say!" He joins Dezlo and Orgen, slicing away at the swarm.
(That was close roll since I wasn't using my shield 17 ac. )
Orgen quickly looks at the plate mail and sword to see if they are still in good condition. Once he was satisfied that they were. He would go pick up the bandit and says, "Sorry lad for handling you roughly, but with you tied up like that you should be happy we succeded, cause you wouldn't be going far. Let's get out of here before we get any more surprises."
You are able to get the weapon and the armor, and then tote the bandit leader back to the tower. Quilla is a bit surprised to see you with a captive, but doesn't say anything about it.
You quickly have the captive down in the dungeon level of the tower, and put him in a chair, tied up still.
Orgen folds his arms in front of the man and says, "Well lad we were hired to take out a spook, but what we found was some crooks. You better tell us what you were up to if you know what is good for you." Orgen leans in and looks the man straight into his eyes and says, "Or we could do it the hard way. Trust me, lad, you don't want to do it the hard way,"
(Should I assume we are free from the disadvantage rolls on skill checks?)
Marlo stands a little behind Organ, but in view of bandit leader. He teeth are bared, and he is in a stance akin to a rabid dog, prepared to attack. "You better talk, criminal! Or I'm going to get crazy!" In between his hands, he holds a Fire Bolt, though he has no intent to use it to harm the bandit, or for any purpose other than intimidation, for that matter. This is Marlo's attempt at playing Good Guard, Bad Guard. Given that he was probably seen shaking in his boots in the house by the bandit leader, how effective he is remains to be seen...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alek joined the interrogation. He watched Marlo und Ogren trying to get the bandit leader to talk. The sorcerer had the feeling that it could be the first interrogation the two ever conducted. Alek walked over to their prisoner and crouched in fornt of him. "Look, you aren't stupid? Am I right? The only way for you to see the light of day again is that you give us the information we want. Tell us about your operation at the 'haunted house'." He paused to give his words some weight, "How do you guy operate? Who and where are you associates? Gives us what you know and we might even abstain from torturing you." Alek waited a moment and glanced towards Marlon's Fire Bolt before continuing a little more forcefull, "Talk! Now."
With Lupin's final threat the smuggler leader breaks. He tells you the following information.
The secret of the haunted house is that it is not, in fact, haunted. It is the shore base for a band of smugglers led by a wizard named Sanbalet. The eerie lights seen at night by onlookers are the smugglers’ signals to a ship out at sea. The unearthly shrieks and other sounds are caused by magic mouth spells strategically placed in the building. The smugglers, during their three years of successful operation, have through these tactics frightened away all local attempts at investigating their hideout.
The smugglers currently run weapons for a clan of lizardfolk living near Saltmarsh whose queen, Othokent, is preparing her clan for battle against a terrible enemy: the sahuagin.
Marlo stands tall with his hands on his hips, puffing his chest out. He convinces himself that it was indeed his attempts at intimidation that cracked their prisoner, and not Lupin's, whose it actually was.
Orgen wrote down the information that was given to him noting the Sahuagin in them. After finishing copying the information the Dwarf covers his face with his hand rubbing his temples. Finally looking at the man, he sighs, "Well lad the jig is up and you have no one, but yourself to blame. You could have made an honest living as a merchant, but your greed to hide your profits as left your compatriots dead and you to be locked up, if not worse. Do you have any final words before we turn you to the authorities?"
"Very well, will be back in an hour to load you back up in the wagon and take you back to town. Since you have been cooperative I will try to plead for a reduced sentence. Alright everyone, take a break and meet at the wagon in an hour. Marlo would you please give the man a meal before we take him in," he says locking the wizard in the cell. Orgen goes into his room to inspect the armor and sword that the grab early cleaning them up and looking at them to appraise their worth.
(Orgen is a smith I don't know if that would help to see if the weapons and armor have special properties or not.)

Definitely, that only lasted 15 minutes. Sorry, I totally forgot about it.
Also, give me an intimidation check with advantage...
What are the rest of you doing?
Belle would not be with you, she would have gone to her room, wanting nothing to do with questioning the smuggler leader.
