"Damnation... This isn't the time to split up. We need to stay together and plan." Silence points at Bella while casting message, and whispers "Come back. Don't be reckless. This is a dangerous situation, and we can't afford to make mistakes."

Bella hears the message but gives no outward indication as she races away. "Dinna worry, Silence. I'll be back soon." She continues to head toward the inn.

I need 3 Con saves from you. DC is 15 for each. First strike damage: 23 lightning damage. Second strike damage: 14 lightning damage. Third strike damage: 15 lightning damage.

Reginald turning to Silence, "Nothing to do before she gets back. It's better to stay in a location she knows where to find us than us getting involved as well. If you can contact her every now to keep tabs on her that woudl at least let us know if she needs out help or not. Otherwise we wait."
Then he turns to the remaining guard, "What have you noticed of the area before you were attacked, are there any others that need help? Any information you can provide woudl be helpful otherwise I would suggest heading back to town and letting them know what is going on and to make sure they keep an eye out in this direction for anything that might threaten the town." Then he laughs a bit, "Oh yea I am not sure we introduced ourselves yet." Then he will go and name all of the group and what company they are in and what has been going on, if the guard does not already know.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bella flinches as the strikes come in and she twists and dodges, trying to avoid them but to no avail. "Mistress, protect Thy servant that she may continue to do Thy will," she murmurs fervently. The bolts sizzle down into her small body and she feels some force turn two of them aside...no, not aside, exactly, just blunt their force so they do no more than tingle. The third, though, that one hurts!
"Your servant thanks you, Mistress," she sends to her goddess.
Looking around, she tries to spot who or what sent the bolts her way. Did she close some line or other demarcation that triggered the strikes? Was it a more active response? Was she spotted? She also tries to discern the nature of the storm and see how far she still has to go, all the while trying to maintain her stealthy approach in case the bolts were triggered and not sent.

Silence frowns. "She just got hit. We can't sit around waiting. I'll be back soon. Don't worry, I won't go in to the storm. I'll be in touch." Silence uses a bonus action to use elemental gift. Her skin turns gray, and starts to petrify slightly. She jumps into the air. As she does, rocks fly up from the ground beneath her feet, letting her jump on them and work her way directly upwards. (She gains a flying speed of 30 ft.) She goes as fast as she can upwards, using her dash action. She tries to get above the storm.

(How high is the storm and how high can a tressym fly? If possible, Seruk would send his familiar up over the storm to try and see if there's an "eye of the storm" that it can fly down into and take a look around.)
Reginald yells out, "Stop!" Then he shakes his head and looks at the others, "You can all hear me right? I haven't lost the sound of my voice? I warned against splitting the party and now another one goes darting off. SO do we as a group follow after or continue to wait for word from them?"
Bhardrus taps his cane on the ground to emphasize his words, saying "No, this is the way of things. Someone goes in, and returns with information for the company to make some decisions based on the information. But if that doesn't happen, then send in another employee with a new approach. It's all sensible, and we'll established. The way it's always been done."
Silence yells down. "I know we shouldn't split up, but we can't let Bella die. We need information. I need to see how high this storm is, and if there is anything I can see over the top."

This has happened over several long minutes, as you have traveled some distance into the storm, the lightning strikes spaced out randomly. They appear to be just part of the storm, as you see other forks of electricity striking trees and even the ground. They are clearly undirected. It is indeed some distance to get to the center of the storm, likely taking ten to fifteen minutes of running to get there. The storm has been expanding for some time, and swells outward at a rate of thirty feet a minute. It had all the time you took to travel out here from town, plus the time during your combat, to expand, so is miles to the center by this point.
Silence
This storm covers miles of ground, and is miles high as well. Getting above it would not be useful, and you would realize that within moments of looking upward. You also cannot see Bella any longer, she is too-far into the storm to be visible.
Reginald
"I was told to stay on guard here." The woman says with a shake of her head. "The town has already been warned of the storm, as is obvious with your arrival. My place is to stand guard and keep vigilant, in case more of those armored things show up. I am certain the town will be sending more guards to support me shortly."
Seruk
As with Silence, the tressym could get high enough to get above the storm, but that will take time. You would doubt if this storm has an 'eye' as it seems to be expanding from a central point, not rotating around that point.
Silence flips in the air before falling, taking a few steps in the air at the last moment. "There's nothing I can see up there. We'll have to go in. We can't just sit around."

Seruk nods to Reginald, "Would have been good, but let's wait. Who is this person the storm is centered on?"
