“Anyone need some healing or rest, or are we good to carry on?” Rurik asks making sure people are looking good. “And should we take a moment to see what our scouts are up to or just continue on our way?”
Inspecting his companions Maximus states, "Looks like a few of us are in desperate need, we can either take a short rest here or I can use some spells, both have there consequences, but I think the best idea would be the short rest."
Fearing his companion has run afoul of something unsavory, the Trin attempts to dismisses Owlix to a pocket dimension and recall him to the area where the party now stands.
(This only works if he didn't drop to 0hp and doesn't have any sort of planar binding on him)
As an action, you can temporarily dismiss your familiar. It disappears into a pocket dimension where it awaits your summons. Alternatively, you can dismiss it forever. As an action while it is temporarily dismissed, you can cause it to reappear in any unoccupied space within 30 feet of you.
"Looks like Owlix has returned to the Feywild. I'll have to get him something nice when I see him again. I hope he isn't upset I keep using him as a scout." Trin babbles as he rests with the others
As you rest the Imp moves ahead of you for a bit. it reports back that the tunnel continues Westward. Stopping when it reaches the distance Stigr has ordered it to stop at, it would let Stigr know it hears the sound of running water further ahead, but cannot see what the source is from where it was forced to stop. It whines and complains about restrictions and such, but waits where it was ordered to do so.

You finish your short rest. Will you continue West now or do something else?
Before heading out, Rurik lays hands on Trin (healing for 13HP) and Sam (healing for 24HP) and himself (healing for 3HP).
“Better a fresh a start as possible, eh? Shall we move forward then?”
Responding to Stigr, Rurik says, “Well let’s see if the water issue is a dead end or crossable, and make a decision from there. Could just be a fountain. Could be a river.”
As no one else has posted, going to assume the plan is to cointinue West...
The River
Continuing down the tunnel you travel for a couple of hours, the sound of water growing the farther you go. Eventually you come out to where a river cuts across your path, running North to South. A path runs north and south along this side of the river. On the far side a tunnel can be seen, continuing on Westward.

"I could use some medical attention." Trin replies to Rurik.
<I'd like some poison, 1 vial should do>
Stigr shrugs, "We can do both? Rest here while my imp scouts ahead a little?"
So, taking a short rest here, while the imp scouts further East. Trin, are you doing anything about your owl at this point?
I guess Owlix will come back within the time a battle and a short rest require, if he doesn't find anything worth hooting about.
Trin
As you rest your owl continues to not return. It is overdue and you start to wonder if it is going to return.
Everyone
Go ahead and do a short rest on your sheets.
Stigr
How far will your imp scout?

Maximus sits down and keeps a watch out as he was not damaged so wants to protect his companions during the rest.
(Sorry for the delay, busy day yesterday.)
Stigr sends his imp ahead either 1000 feet or to the nearest intersection, stopping at whichever comes first.

Stigr looks at the others, "Imp says the tunnel slopes down and there's water up ahead, do we want to go there first or backtrack?"

(Turns out, water is wet, beyond that, who knows.)
(Original roll was a nat 1 for a 5 total, not sure why it counted as manipulated when I added the other line of text afterwards.)
Turin and Shadowlight scout around to see if they can find a way across. “Look for anything to stop the water or a path across boy.”
